Eskimo it's understandable you had your hopes pinned on this cycle as it was potentially the first cycle after a long time where you could have ovulated. Don't give up. It is hard but you will get there and fx the higher dosage works.

eskimo I'm so sorry don't give up yet though lovely. Medical miracles are possible.

kir I get EWCM for about 5 days before OV and 2 after. Mine never stretches as far as yours does. Does your EwCM do yoga??? And how did you measure it? Do you have a tape measure in the loo?

boris haha, it wasn't strictly accurate. I stretched it, wiped, washed my hands then found a tape measure and measure approximately how far it has stretched I'm a curious soul.

I'm a bit bored of the shagathon...eod since cd12 and every day for the last 3 days and counting. My dh is bloody loving it.

eskimo Im really sorry to hear you have not ovulated but dont give up, i know it must be hard but maybe your consultant will tell you to up the dose and that will help,we are all hear for you!!

DizzyM I am usually so far out of everyone of times so nice to be joining someone! Me and DP thought maybe we would do eod with the flashy ones but maybe we should soldier on with every day too. Just tested - another flashy and a line on ic. On bfp month we did twice on ov day so guess we don't need the rest time in between but my body would prefer it!

kir lucky that your dh loves the shagathon. Mine is the same as me and can't really be bothered.

Thank you everyone. I've just had a long, hot bath and washed my hair. It kind of helped- not that my hair was really dirty or anything.

The consultant's secretary called earlier. She said that the consultant wants me to increase the dose to 100mgs of clomid, starting on CD2 of my next cycle. I pointed out that I didn't have cycles because I don't have periods She sounded surprised and asked how I took the last lot of clomid. When I told her that I'd taken Norethisterone to bring on a bleed, she said that she'd have to ask him, but that it would probably be Monday when she got back to me. Limbo again...

I'm feeling quite drained now, but I'll be right. I do need you lot though. Thank you x x x

eskimo I think I remember purdey saying before that 100mgs is what is really needed to have much effect. So fx that is all it takes for you! I am sure the consultant will prescribe the mess for the withdrawal bleed too.

I've just checked my Norethisterone supply and I actually have enough left over from the GP from when I took them to bring on a bleed for one of my previous scans, so I think I'll give it until Monday and then start them again. Then I'll take double the dose of clomid and keep my fingers firmly crossed! Onwards and upwards! I was a bit concerned that we'd planned a holiday for the end of August and it might fall on CD21, so it would interfere with blood tests, but actually, CD21 would fall on around the 19th August, I think, so all would be fine!

eskimo aha I thought it sounded right. Glad she confirmed! Good job that your bloods will fall on the right day - I hope the consultant comes back to you with the ok to start the wotsitmicallit drugs for withdrawal bleed Monday so it all pans out ok!

eskimo I'm so sorry about the ov. Bloody rot and bollocks. 100mg will have those eggs firing out of your fallopian canons before you know it though. I've got a good feeling. Side note- amazing the things fertility clinic admin say. Last time I rang up to tell them I was pregnant and they kept asking me if I needed them to prescribe more medication. "...but are you SURE you don't need any more clomifene?" YESIAMBLADDYSURE. Amazing they don't know anything about the processes/biology behind what they must be dealing with every day.

It is quiet, you're all really active when I'm at work and cant keep up, then quiet in the evenings!

I have one dose of my stimulation drug left now for tomorrow night, but I suspect the clinic will give me a few more days worth on Friday...at least I hope they will as I am definitely not psyched up for egg collection yet! Xx

Blimey sammy that's so soon! So excited for you. How long does the procedure take? How are you feeling symptom wise today?

A bit crampy and very heavy breasts, but not too bad otherwise. Kinda like post ovulation feeling (which they said could happen, so not panicking!)

I think it's fairly quick, but done under sedation so probably won't know much about it. We'll be there a few hours I should think as they have to wait until the sedation a worn off before they let you go!
