I'm going to test with my ICs over the next few days and see what happens. Either I'll bleed or I'll be pregnant. Fx all round

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been around much. Been hopping between buses. Had a bit of a rubbish cycle, AF arrived on cd 24 for me sadly, earlier than its been ever which made me feel pretty down. I'm now officially off the July bus, AF has just come to an end and trying to look onwards and upwards.

Yep, I had a proper meltdown. Starting to feel a bit better now though.

Princes and Southey sounds like we will have similar cycles next month. I'm due my peak fertility around 24th July and test around 10th aug.

I'm really hoping carrot won't need to start the next bus . I'm happy to start it whenever people want it. (If carrot is happy with that as you have done such a good job with this bus)

I had positive opks on Friday and Saturday but only dtd on Saturday due to dh injured foot. Yesterday I also had pain in my left ovary. However I do not have a temp spike yet.

birchy I was thinking earlier that this bus has been moving quite quickly and we might need a second thread to see out the month. Is it worth doing a combined July/ August thread?

I know nothing about temping raluca but ovary pain is a good indicator. I only ever get ov pain on my right side for some reason

This month I don't mind as I have settled a bit that I am going to be here for a long while. Last month I needed a new bus to look forward. I'm therefore happy to go with what others want/need

If you don't have a temp spike yet Raluca you have not ovulated yet - I would keep dtd. Every 2 - 3 days is sufficient. The difficulty with temping is you don't know until 3 days after the event that you have actually ovulated as you need 3 raised temps in a row to show ovulation. So I would keep going until that point to make sure you are not missing out.

Strangely today my opk is " less positive" than yesterday. Totally weird!

I'd be up for a combined bus. My earliest BFP potential date (but who knows with my cycles?) would be 29th July but I may well hold out testing for a week longer if I can so that would put me into August.

Yh I'm easy, a combined bus is good for me. Might get quite a few join so may be a busy bus to start with?

This bus has been great, not to busy and not to slow either so would it be better to just stick to a single deck rather than a double decker?

Raluca- I don't temp so also don't know a lot. Does a temp drop show LH surge like opk or does it show actual ovulation? Cause a positive opk happens 12-36 hrs before actual ovulation? Sorry if that's no help

Nothing to do with ttc, but got to tell someone as I'm feeling ridiculously proud of myself... I just cleaned my oven! For the first time in two years!!! I'd been putting it off weekly for months as it was so crusty. And now it's sparkling! Weeeeeeee!

Temp spike shows ovulation has already taken place. On the day of positive opk there is a temp drop caused by a hormone (can't remember which ) and the spike is caused by the surge of progesterone. So what I'm saying is that the opk said ov has happened, my cm said ov has happened, my temp is not conclusive. I've checked my cp and it is still high and soft but can't say if open.

My MIL is still here. She comments about everything constantly. I am losing my mind!

No AF as yet. Still no idea what's going on. Really struggling to put a calm, tolerant face on
