Yes Phillipa you do. As choccy said, ring your docs, say your pregnant and would like and appt.
Then you see the doctor, they take all your details etc, and then this gets passed on to your local midwife team in your district. Then they assign you a midwife, and she will get in touch.
If after your docs appt, you haven't heard from a midwife say by 10 weeks, chase them up.

The midwife provides all your normal care, irrelevant to if you are on the trial or not.
She will fill you in on antenatal classes etc etc.

That will be your next job then GrinGrin

philippa88 · 11/06/2015 15:57

I just spoke to the trial nurse and she said I should ring the midwife once we've had the 8 week scan next Thursday. Just wish time would hurry up!!! X

Kazz2112 · 11/06/2015 17:25

Louise - just to put your mind at rest my wee is often neon after taking vitamin supplements like berroca and I know tesco pregnancy vitamins did it too.x

Joy2713 · 11/06/2015 18:08

Having a really crappy couple days... im now 10 weeks which is 'my time' and usually not picked up as mmc till 12 week scan! I saw the twins last week and they were fine and only 12 days till 12 week scan! But just cant help the negative thoughts!

Joy2713 · 11/06/2015 18:23

Congrats on team blue choocy :) xxx

Marchgirl · 11/06/2015 18:37

Hang in there joy. Not long now then you'll see those lovely little ones again. It's so hard getting past those danger points but you're doing something different this time (plus as they say, every pregnancy is different! ) hand holding x

OP posts:
Indiedog · 11/06/2015 20:15

You will get the Joy, hang in there.
I am well past 'my time' but still worry, on and off, and still want to get to each milestone, like next week will be four months.
It's only natural to worry at That Time, we can all totally relate to that.
Try not to let the negative overwhelm the positive, keep ticking each day off, another day closer to your next scan, and another peep at the baby beans xxx

girliesaints · 11/06/2015 22:36

Joy, can you not ask EPU if you can have an extra scan given your history, or ask A or J if they can arrange one? Sure everything will be fine but understand your anxiety x

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 09:03

Very very very very faint bfp on a frer this morning, but accompanied by red blood with little clots, so it's looking like it might turn into another chemical Sad

Kazz2112 · 12/06/2015 09:42

Fingers crossed for you March. What dpo are you?

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 09:49

11 kaz. There is quite a lot of very red blood and it's gone on for 4 days so i really don't think it's a sticky one

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 12/06/2015 09:53

Ahh March I hope your okay. have you called trial team?x

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 10:05

No, I'm off the trial for this one because of the high nk cells diagnosis, so I'm a bit of a fraud being on this thread still!! But to be honest, even if I was on the trial i think I'd be holding off, as you only get one shot and it looks like this one can't be helped. I'll test again tomorrow and if it's darker I'll start my meds. Just a bit Confused and Sad about it all

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 10:22

Sorry claire, I've been very me me me this morning. How did you get on today?

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 12/06/2015 10:27

silly me March course I know your not on trial. I'm at work so not reading properly.
damn I'm so frustrated for you. so if darker line tomorrow what will you do and what will that mean? sorry I'm not clued up on it.
I'm so sorry your bleeding. is there quite a bit?

I'm ok brown and bfn but not surprised x

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 11:17

Sorry about bfn and brown spotting Sad. Still keeping fingers crossed for you x

It's enough to mark a pad and seems fairly steady. If it's darker then I'll start taking the steroids tomorrow and might increase the progesterone to see if that helps the bleeding. Not told dh yet Hmm

is it worth speaking to your m/c consultant? x

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 11:46

She is shit. Last time i rang her three times in a week to tell her about the pregnancy, let her know I thought i was mcing and to ask advice about whether to stop the medication. It took her a month to get back to me.
This time, my gp sent a letter last week on Monday asking her opinion on prescribing pred, and followed up with an email this monday. Still no reply. So she's actually the last person I'd contact!
I might email prof brosens at the Coventry clinic. He is a lot more caring!

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 12/06/2015 12:53

Ahh that's shit. my consultant is terrible and slow and you just cannot speak to her but once you do she's lovely. Yes email prof see what they say and tell dh so he's in the know.
there's still hope xx

Cowgirl0802 · 12/06/2015 13:55

Hi everyone I have been reading everyone's posts. I can't seem to find another other posts about the trial. I got radamised last week and have started the injections. I think this is my last hope. I tried everything else that I can. This is my 16th pregnancy and I have 1 precious 7year old son who is truly a blessing. I am based at St James in Leeds ??

clairemorgan81 · 12/06/2015 16:01

welcome cowgirl so sorry to hear about all of your losses. i really hope this trial is successful for you. congratulations on your pregnancy how Many weeks are you?x

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 16:25

Welcome cowgirl. Gosh. What an awful time you've had. I really hope you are on the drug and this one works out for you. I think from memory that choccy has had a lot of losses as well and is now well along.
How are you finding the injections?

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 12/06/2015 16:57

have any of you had progesterone levels checked? I have mentioned it before but my doctor doesn't think it's necessary as I'm ovulating. I've asked again as sure it can be linked with spotting and I am pig sick of it now x

Marchgirl · 12/06/2015 17:56

You're right, I think it can be linked to mid cycle spotting. I had them tested by my gp but she was just humouring me, as I came to her in tears 5 days after last mc. She just did the test that day, which was totally pointless, even though I said shouldn't it be day 21. She was just trying to make me feel better I think. Came back normal
