phillipa I missed This Morning but I saw the Miscarriage Association mention it on Facebook and the woman is their ambassador. Always great when miscarriage gets high profile coverage as it helps normalise it in society. I still feel like a freak even with friends abd absolutely dreading going to abtenatal classes with lots of 'normal' pregnant women. I am really not a fan of smug preggers comparing bumps. I'm still very tentative about this orwgnancy and can't see a point that it will feel normal and I can relax into it. But as we've all said before, you can never regain that joyous naivety of pregnancy after a miscarriage.
Sending everyone time traveling wishes to sided things up. We could all do with to fast forwarding to next week for some answers couldn't we!

clairemorgan81 · 13/05/2015 19:05

excellent news joy so pleased for you x

Marchgirl · 13/05/2015 19:29

Omg joy, that's amazing news! The way I read your post yesterday I thought they had already confirmed it was over already. Which idiot scanned you and told you that? Is it not a proper sonographer you get for the trial? Can't believe how different it can be, but absolutely delighted for you

I'm not waiting for anything other than starting ov testing this time next week but I'd love to scoot forward a week to get some answers for you all!

Joy that's awesome news... I'm Actually choked up... and girlie keep thinking positive as much as possible. hoping and praying for you!

Quick question with regards to ov testing. When did people do it? In the morning with first wee? Afternoon? Both? Scared of missing it! And how long do you have after to ttc? I may just insist on morning noon and night for about ten days to make sure weve given it everything!!! lol!!!

clairemorgan81 · 13/05/2015 20:07

kazz I bought some internet cheapies and I test twice a day about lunchtime and then again about 6pm that should ensure you don't miss it just in case your surge is short x
good luck x

Marchgirl · 13/05/2015 20:19

I tested with the cb using fmu and ic in the afternoon after not drinking any water for a couple of hours.

Someone said to me that for a cycle with ov on day 14, start dtd cd8 and every other day until positive opk then every day until 3 days after ov. I didn't manage 3 days after! Last time was the day of ov. Hope it's enough.
I'm going to test with a frer tomorrow. 10dpo. Strangely nervous even though I've been testing all week and not been bothered!

haha so funny March!! can I ask a stupid question? why!!x

Marchgirl · 13/05/2015 20:46

To see if they are tender Blush Only i think if they do get tender it will probably be because I've been squeezing them so much Grin

clairemorgan81 · 13/05/2015 20:49

haha I thought so then I thought maybe she's expecting something to come out!! ive never had sore boobs so didn't know if nip or what would hurt!! I've had a long day.........
good luck for morning x

LouiseM1987 · 13/05/2015 21:00

March another random question .... Is it normal just the nip or boob that is sore ? Normally it's my boob but they've stopped now :( i keep pushing them and nothing really xx

Marchgirl · 13/05/2015 21:11

For me is normally nips but i know other people is the whole boob. Think it varies from person to person, pg to pg and also comes and goes, so try not to read anything into it. Hugs x

OP posts:
Kazz2112 · 13/05/2015 21:31

For me it was definitely whole boob. Someone could knock them and it would be agony. Any recommendations for internet cheapies?? Ive never found them particularly reliable before but maybe ive just ordered internet crappies.

Bit worried because we did TTC last month - was the first month we've actually really tried and not caught first attempt. And that was every day from cd9 to cd 20!!!!! (Does cd stand for cycle day?)

girliesaints · 13/05/2015 21:33

Ooh looking forward to hearing results tomorrow (btw, boobs never hurt for me ??)

Joy2713 · 13/05/2015 21:35

Yes well i was basically told that, they said there was nothing there and that i had to go to epu today to confirm! I am quiet annoyed about the scan yesterday she could have at leasr said there was a chance!
Im lacking in pg symptons though :s

How are you feeling louise?

girliesaints · 13/05/2015 21:48

Joy, EPU were quite negative about my scan on g level as it didn't reflect that last week they saw a shadow but dismissed as a blood clot and it didn't have the full measurements listed. For that reason I'm back at the EPU next week.

LouiseM1987 · 14/05/2015 07:00

I find epu really bad they have no sensitivity what so ever ! I had booked to go today but I cancelled it as it's always been a Thursday and the the same we are told bad news with a really horrible lady. There's a lovely lady but only had her twice when I had to get tablets.
I'm losing my mind I just want to run away and forget what's happening I don't want my scan tomorrow either but at least hopefully I'll find out which way it's headed. I don't really have symptoms either joy :( xx

Marchgirl · 14/05/2015 07:03

Yes, cd is cycle day kaz. I normally get the little strip ones from Amazon. I think they are one step. I found the hpts pretty rubbish compared to frer, but the ov tests i like. I get a few days of slightly darker tests leading up to ov,to the extent you're thinking "that must be it, these tests are a bit crap", then the next day i get a really strong line and think "oh, maybe they are ok then!". Happens every month even though I know the darker line will come Blush

Bfn on a frer for me. Boo. I know it's still early but it's actually not the test, it's the lack of symptoms that's making me convinced is not happening. This is how i felt the first cycle back trying after the last load of tests and I didn't get pg that cycle. The following one felt totally different and I was pg (although obv it didn't work out too well! ) swithering whether to try another frer tomorrow or wait till Saturday, 12dpo, when i should get a definite answer.

Louise, really don't give up yet. I raise with the nurses yesterday why I was not getting symptoms since the bleeding on Monday. They said they often see women who's body almost goes into denial as it looks to protect itself. (I.e this didn't work out great last time so I'm going to pretend it's not happening again and give you a lovely surprise when it does) remember we're all here to handhold with you x

girliesaints · 14/05/2015 07:51

Boo indeed March x

Choccywoccydodah · 14/05/2015 08:12

Joy amazing news!! Thrilled for you!!

I know what you mean about epu Louise. M is absolutely lovely but broke her wrist back in October and had probs ever since. The other lady although ok, is less sympathetic. I went there after I started bleeding in October and as I'd had a negative on the CB digi, she refused to scan me. M was there in the other room and they did scan me as I was quite insistent. It was just as well as it was then they found a fimbrial cyst the size of a tennis ball on my left side!!!!
They've been keeping an eye on it and although it's slightly grown, it's not too much. I may twist and cause pain in pregnancy so I've got to watch out for that.

Re the response trial being here because of the profs. There are LOADS of trials going on at Cov, I'm not sure if it's countrywide. The response was brought in from the U.S. so not really anything the profs have to do with, they've just brought it to Cov the same way it's at other hospitals x

LouiseM1987 · 14/05/2015 08:32

Choccy I don't know there names but it's the older bigger lady who is horrible but the young one is a lot nicer. The older lady pretty much laughed at me when my first pregnancy was over two weeks behind and she left me for over an hour wait cz she couldn't be bothered to see if I was there and blamed the receptionist for not saying I'd arrived, she just wanted me in and out ! and then the third pregnancy she said she wouldn't wait for my dh as they were very busy (at 8am there was no one there ! ) I wouldn't want to be told by her again it's over !

March I'm sorry :( when is af due ? Xx

clairemorgan81 · 14/05/2015 08:44

damn it March still time though x
