That's a good weight gain tori Smile

Just need a rant, the only job h does in the house is put the bins out, that means moving them to the bottom of the drive. He cooked chicken the other day in the brand new oven I brought cus he wrecked the last one cooking chicken and not cleaning it. I told him he needed to clean it, two days later it wasn't done. I told him again, that night he cut his hair, I asked him to pick up his hair.
Today I got up to find he had wiped the oven but there was big bits of fat and grease everywhere. I cleaned it again, When he got up he moaned at me saying he did it and I was just being dramatic. Just been to where he cut his hair, there is hair all over the floor, I text him and he said he had cleaned it. To top it off this morning the bins weren't put out, luckily I got them there just in time. I don't know how to discuss things with him when he just denies anything I say Hmm blahhhhhhhhh

Cupcake92 · 17/06/2015 15:52

Haha thanks Ducky Grin he does have trousers to match his pj top but he had an accident so he had to wear odd trousers Grin also men don't listen ever. Think u need to be extremely stern with him and say why u need help with cleaning etc and why it needs doing properly. Men are just stubborn.

Tori that's good he put on weight! :) my DS only weighed 1lb less than that at birth!
Makes me realise how big he was!

LuluJakey1 · 17/06/2015 21:16

That is a good bump Cupcake.

DS ready for a walk a couple of weeks ago. I love this photo. I think he looks so cute.

LuluJakey1 · 17/06/2015 21:18

He is now fast asleep. Yayy! DH and I are just relaxing - with two mint magnums. Life on the edge!

zombiemeow · 18/06/2015 03:15

Well ds is awake. Hardly slept tonight Hmm I've constantly been up and down. He still has that cold too and keeps coughing Confused

Cupcake92 · 18/06/2015 07:13

Aww Lulu he's adorable! Such a poser!

Oh Ducky :( that's not good. My DS hasn't slept either he was in my bed practically all night as he wouldn't stay asleep!

Having to call in to work today to tell them I won't be in because I have no car! It went to the garage yesterday as my window is stuck. It only came off its runner so just needs realigning again. Literally a 10 minute job! But.....it's still there! Was trying to find a way to get to work but couldn't. There isn't a bus from where I am to work and all my family are at work themselves. So looks like I'll have to take today as a holiday and wait for my stupid car to be done Hmm

zombiemeow · 18/06/2015 07:42

How annoying cupcake! Are they quite good about people having time off? Hope the car gets fixed soon!

Right, I'm going to try and pluck up the courage to have a serious talk with h today. It's beyond a joke. He is an adult so should be able to do a little bit of washing up etc without me continuously asking him I feel like a single mother of a baby and a very messy teenager!

Cupcake92 · 18/06/2015 08:22

They usually are quite good about having time off. There's not a lot of work to do today anyway as I got it all done the other day. So it'd literally be whatever post has come. Least it'll give me something to do on Monday Grin
And good on u! :) hope the talk goes well and he understands that being messy isn't an option!

Very strange thing but did anyone ever feel like they were having little panic attacks when pg? I keep getting them Confused only small ones like right now, it's feels like I'm really nervous but I'm not! Confused it's weird! My heart rate isn't racing or anything.

zombiemeow · 18/06/2015 08:25

I got v bad panic attacks when PG. I didn't know they were panic attacks but the hosp told me they were. They started off small then got bad Confused it was horrible

zombiemeow · 18/06/2015 15:02

Well that didn't go well.

H didn't speak to me this morning then txt me to ask why I'm in a mood with him Shock I said I'm fed up about doing everything all the time and I need help. He started arguing saying he does things, I said he never does without me asking. Then he went off about how I'm sat at home all day while he's at work Hmm and I said 'that's why I feel I can't talk to you, it always turns out like this and then I end up feeling worse than if I would have kept my mouth shut', he started to reply then stopped
Hmm

Didn't go as planned Hmm

Oh tori it's exhausting isn't it! And I bet more so for you with the bf!

well..... ShockShockShockShock He sent me a big apology. I'm in shock! Let's see how long this will last. Smile

Cupcake92 · 18/06/2015 21:35

Oh no Ducky :( but at least he apologised!! So rele he knew u were right! :)

Tori how is bf going? Is Ollie cluster feeding still?

I need to try and cut out ds's daytime nap :/ when he doesn't have a nap he's alseep in bed by 7:30/8 but if he naps he's still up at 9:30! And may not go to sleep till 10pm!
I literally get no time to myself when he's up and when he finally falls asleep I'm ready for bed myself and haven't had that time to relax and chill out on my own.
Just have no idea how I'll force DS to stay awake In the day!

Glad your H apologised Ducky! Totally sympathise!
Lovely pic of your DS Lulu! And good bump Cupcake Smile
Tori, Wollaton park's a lovely idea but it's still be two buses for me because I live on the other side of notts! Sorry to be so difficult Blush Somewhere near the centre would be best for me really. I'll try to think of a possible place.
DS has been so hungry! He woke me up every hour from midnight onwards last night, then I tried to go shopping today in town and he just wanted to feed most of the time! I'd gone into the changing rooms in M&S Md had to leave without trying anything because he was so cross Shock Must be a growth spurt. I'm worried I'll run out of milk Blush I pretty much did earlier and had to distract him instead!!
Knackered now and about to go to sleep but I really hope tonight goes better tan last night did!
Also my neighbour on one side has had people round and been talking loudly (to a group of friends it sounds like) and listening to loud music since last nightl. It sounds like he's having a bit of a party but it's right next to my bedroom.!

zombiemeow · 18/06/2015 23:20

How many naps in the day does he have cupcake? Could you distract him some how for a few days, like taking him to a park or something? Then hopefully he will get used to it? Although I have no idea if something like that will work!

Oh tori Confused I really feel for you. I'm exhausted doing it alone but can't even imagine how it is with bf aswell, I bet that takes a lot of energy. My h wears ear plugs too Hmm x

Lil, think there must be something in the water! Everyone at the baby group I go to is saying theirs are having growth spurts ATM, think ds has just had one too!

Well I spent most the night at the hospital a bloody gain. Ds came out in a big rash this morning all over, it kept getting worse and worse, then when I put him to bed he was so tired his eyes were rolling back but he wouldn't sleep he was just screaming and screaming, that went on for about 1.5/2 hours, then when I picked him up and he has vomited everywhere Hmm all over my side of the bed too Shock. Then I tried to comfort him and it happened again. Hosp have said they recon it's a bug. Fingers crossed he feels better tomorrow Hmm

Lillamyy1 · 19/06/2015 03:03

Oh no! Poor little DS Ducky! They didn't think it was too serious with the rash then? Did they send you home after seeing him? I hope he gets better very soon.
I don't understand how babies pick up bugs and viruses - it's not like they touch things that are contaminated or use public loos etc Confused

zombiemeow · 19/06/2015 07:00

Yes they said it was a 'viral rash' lil Hmm he's now got an awful awful cough but he's still smiling bless him. I just feel so fed up on his behalf, he is constantly catching these things even when we hadn't been round anyone who is ill!

Lillamyy1 · 19/06/2015 17:06

Yeah, there are some nice places around there Smile

Cupcake92 · 19/06/2015 19:07

Tori and Lill I'm good anywhere as long as I can park without hassle as I don't know Nottingham very well at all Grin

And Lill how annoying about the loud neighbours! That would rele do my head in!!

Oh no Ducky that's awful about ur DS being ill again!! :( poor thing! It's scary tho how ur DS sounds just like mine. All the illnesses he could get and always in and out of hospital. But they never seem to help and just send u home!
Also my DS has only 1 nap a day. It used to be at about 10:30am and he's slowly made it later and most of the time falls asleep at 2/3pm! As he's not tired at all until then. And yes I'm going to have to find a distraction for him, hopefully it will work!

I'm so sore today. Still not had my appt through. And I think I'm going to end up complaining because I rele don't think it's fair they have left me this long. I don't think I'd have been in this much pain if I'd had my physio quicker!

Cupcake92 · 19/06/2015 19:16

I used the, taking DS to the park, idea today and oh my god! He's asleep!!!!!!! :D Grin
It's 7:15pm and he's fast off!! So happy!
It's been a long day but it's worth it for him to go to bed at such a decent time! :)
He didn't eat any of his tea tho lol!

LuluJakey1 · 19/06/2015 19:42

DS is thrilled because the ducks from our park at the end of the street are having an amble along the street most days- a group of 6 adults. They were snoozing in the sun on our front lawn this morning when we went out. Soon shifted when he shrieked at them. Waddled off next door looking cross and quacking.

We went into the village this morning shopping and then for a walk this afternoon. It has gone really cold tonight and looks like rain.

He is ready for bed, having his last bottle and DH is reading to him.

Then DH and I are having a pizza and a small bottle of cider each. Life is wild up here!

Sorry to hear DS is poorly Ducky. Gald to hear your DS is asleep Cupcake - thatpicture of him sleeping is really funny. I don't know how you are managing all the feeding Lill- it must be exhausting.

zombiemeow · 19/06/2015 20:21

Cupcake I think you should put in a complaint, it's awful how long they have left you with such pain. It might also encourage them to get a shift on with your appt. it's been ages now!

Lulu where you live sounds lovely! I would love to live somewhere like that.

Ds is with dm for the night, feels so strange!

LuluJakey1 · 19/06/2015 21:40

We don't live anywhere posh Ducky. It is just a 1930s semi in a village. We are lucky that it is a conservation area and a wildlife corridor so the character and open spaces are protected. Northumberland is big and has a small population in comparison to other counties so it is quite rural and untouched in most places with lovely coastline. And there are never crowds of tourists.

The disadvantages are it is colder than the south of England- definitely- and North of Newcastle, you have to reach Edinburgh before you find another city- about 120 miles away in another country. Northumberland does not have a city- just lots of country market towns.
