Polycystic ovaries - London fertility clinic - advice needed

Hi there, I have severe PCOs and have been recommended by my doctor to see a fertility consultant straight away to discuss how I can conceive. As it stands I'm infertile as I don't ovulate at all.

I don't know where to start but would love to know the best clinic to go to in London. I've heard Lister is good.

Any recommendations / shared advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

ARGC has the best results, and the highest price tag. I went to CRGH and had no issues. The best place for you to start your research is the hfea website where you can compare stats for London clinics. You might also find the fertility friends forum useful as most of the big clinics have their own threads used by the women who are cycling there. The folks on the mn infertility boards may also have useful insights.

Do you not qualify for nhs treatment?

No advice on where but would the NHS help? Any bupa hospital or other private place would deal with infertility. It sounds like they would try you on Clomid if you have a reasonable reserve but just dont produce the right hormones to stimulate ovulation.I started out with bupa and transferred to NHS as the waiting times weren't too bad and saved money with the investigations. It's a good foot in the door and can bypass the need to wait 2 years before getting help.

Good luck to you Thanks
