Thanks Sarah I would be over the moon if I was pg but I thought i was last month and was disappointed when evil af turned up! Just got everything crossed that I am if not will try again next month :( I am the same im so bad for testing and buying tests just incase! X

diamondsparkles · 31/03/2015 20:35

Hiya birdbrain and emma
Glad it's not just me!! Yes DH would go mad with me too! Luckily he's blissfully unaware of the crazy I go through with taking lots of testsBlush
I start with the cheaper ones, then convince myself they're not working then end up getting the more expensive ones, spend ages checking for any tiny hint of a line and on it goes until AF arrives.
Fingers crossed for you Emma!

emmalouise90 · 31/03/2015 22:42

Thanks you diamond hun means a lot:) baby dust to you also xx

CuppaSarah · 01/04/2015 06:29

I know what you all mean about the tests, I've spent a small fortune on them. I'm refusing to buy any till 15dpo this time as that the length of my luteal phase. But if I get to 10dpo I'll be proud! Anyone else test stupidly early just in case?

emmalouise90 · 01/04/2015 07:52

Yep I am guilty of that Blush

diamondsparkles · 01/04/2015 08:00

Thanks Emma xx
Yep - I'm totally guilty of early testing too Blush. I always say to myself that I won't test then have no willpower and end up spending a fortune on tests early. I would be very proud too if I got to 10dpo but know I would never manage it!!

woundbobbin · 01/04/2015 18:44

I've got one test at the back of a cupboard which I bought as a pack of two when I last convinced myself I was pregnant (I wasn't its not that easy) am hoping to hold out til dpo14 but have a low expectation for my willpower. DH keeps saying lets take it easy no need for pressure etc etc he lacks a sense of urgency in most things though so understandable!

Avasmum8 · 01/04/2015 18:54

Hello :) can I join too please!
My DD is almost 5, I'm 25 and TTC number 2, this is officially our first cycle and I'm 5days post ov. Guilty that I POAS today although I knew it was way to early and would be negative and if my DH knew he would have not been happy! Haha. My DD was a surprise, and then we had another surprise which ended in MMC end of last year, then took a break and this is the first ever time We will have actually planned a pregnancy and I'm so impatient. Xx

diamondsparkles · 01/04/2015 19:00

Grin wound my dh is just like that, saying we're in no rush etc and we're not under pressure and I'm the one madly testing!!
Hi avasmum ha ha - I've done it that early before too - always feel guilty then do it again the next day! Sorry to hear about your mmc- fingers crossed you'll get your BFP this month. I'm way behind - finished AF recently so will have to satisfy my POAS obsession with ovulation tests this weekend! Smile

Avasmum8 · 01/04/2015 19:12

Thanks for the welcome Diamondsparkles :)

I too found the buses very busy so will be nice to have you lot to chat to whilst we are obsessing over peeing on some sort of stick Hmm

My partner had a dream the other month that we had a baby boy on New Years Eve so it will be spooky if I am pregnant this month as that could happen haha.

diamondsparkles · 01/04/2015 19:17

Exciting avasmum! That would be spooky! I was writing my ds's details on a form the other day and instead of writing his date of birth I wrote 22/12/2015 - it was so strange as I could see myself writing it and knew it wasn't right but it would be very spooky if I got pregnant this month as I would be due around then!

Avasmum8 · 01/04/2015 19:20

Ahh really! Fingers crossed that this is a good month for us all :) lots of Christmas babies would be lovely! Xx

diamondsparkles · 01/04/2015 19:40

Yes fingers crossed avasmum! Christmas babies for us all here would be great!
So feel free to share your early POAS action here - I won't judge! Xx

MillieMoodle · 01/04/2015 20:33

Also admitting to a POAS addiction here. Fortunately just the ebay cheapies so haven't spent loads on them but I may have got through about 30 in our first month ttc Blush
Trying opks for the first time this month and seems to be keeping me calmer but not in the tww yet!

surferchic41212 · 01/04/2015 20:37

Hello all.. I'm 31 our little one is 2 and 3 months.. And she was conceived first cycle.. I've been off the pill since last May, but only had 5 cycles, so currently peeing on sticks each day and ovulated last week after 56 days, so have just had 21day progesterone test and have a scan of ovaries later this month (which, of course, I pray won't be necessary) but am trying not to worry until I have answers.. (Previous to #1 had 27 day cycles every month..). It's good to have other people in the same boat!

surferchic41212 · 01/04/2015 20:37

And cuppa.. I also find the buses a bit manic..

surferchic41212 · 01/04/2015 20:41

Bluebell, if you have low progesterone, you can take suppositories for the first three months.. You need to get referred..

diamondsparkles · 01/04/2015 21:00

Hi millie - another POAS addict!! Yes thank goodness for eBay cheapies! I know what you mean - opks help the addiction a little bit - I can't help but be a little excited tomorrow to get the clearblue opks out for the first time this month tomorrow. That makes me sound very sad Blush
Hi surfer! Hopefully you won't need the ovaries scan later this month then with you ovulating last week - fingers crossed for you - that must have been tough waiting all that time. I came off the pill in June last year and have had fairly regular cycles - 26-31 days - since but only started ovulation tests the last 3 or so months

mrsmugoo · 01/04/2015 21:13

I've never POAS!

I'm pretty excited about it to be honest haha!

diamondsparkles · 01/04/2015 21:28

Mrsmugoo - what never?!!! It's very addictive I'll warn you now Grin
No wonder you're excited!!
You've got the clearblue opks haven't you? They're pretty exciting too!

surferchic41212 · 01/04/2015 21:29

Thanks diamond..I'm hoping so! And mrsmug- hopefully you only need to
Pee on one! X

mrsmugoo · 01/04/2015 21:41

Yeah never!

I found out I was pregnant first time round from a blood test and I had no idea I was pregnant (I was almost 14 weeks gone)

I'll tell the full story another day when I'm on a proper keyboard.

Yeah I can't wait for those smiley faces!!

diamondsparkles · 01/04/2015 21:48

Yes tell us the full story soon - finding out at 14 weeks must have been a massive surprise!
Grin for the smiley faces Grin!

Avasmum8 · 01/04/2015 22:09

Wow, will have to hear that story soon and hello to all the other mummies on the thread xx

woundbobbin · 02/04/2015 06:53

Grin Mugoo not finding out until 14 weeks that's hilarious and terrifying in equal measure. In a bit of a mood this morning whilst I tend to have a 28 day cycle so am confident I ovulated Monday I sometimes have a 30 day so wanted to have a 'safety shag' (thanks cuppa) yesterday unfortunately dd woke at 10pm feeling ill and that put an end to that. Now feeling a bit blue that I might have missed my opportunity for a crimble baby Hmm stupid TWW.
