All ages and age gaps welcome!

Thanks PattyO Smile

MarysPrayer · 23/05/2015 08:51

Welcome Ellie. You're definitely not out yet, too early. You too wax. Good luck to both.

Torfhinn · 23/05/2015 09:16

Congratulations mary! So pleased for you :)

Welcome ellie, fx for this month

CD 12 here, couple more shags and then the dreaded TWW Shock

PattyODoors · 23/05/2015 11:13

Torfhinn you and I seem to be cycle budbuddies! CD12, got lots of ewcm today. Hope everyone has a good BH weekend!

PattyODoors · 23/05/2015 11:14

buddies! Damn autocorrect lol

waxweasel · 23/05/2015 14:08

Thanks Mary :) am trying to hold off testing...not too sure when AF due, possibly Thursday? So I'm going to try to hold out and test again on Monday...though I dont know if even that's a good idea. I hate this wait! All my symptoms have now vanished so I've convinced myself nothing's happening, but would just like it confirmed now :(

mrsmugoo · 24/05/2015 13:49

CD6 here, v boring but at least AF has effed off now.
I've taken soy iso days 2-6. Started with 100mg, then 150 then 200mg yesterday & today.

I've lost my bbt thermometer (it's probably been claimed as a treasure by DS) so haven't started temping. A new one should arrive next week - will it be too late to start?

Debating buying another lot of clearblue digi opks? I don't know? They kind of stressed me out a bit though.

DianaOstara · 24/05/2015 17:35

torfhinn and party well timed for bank holiday shag-a-thon ;)

wax I'm empathising with you right now - there's the 2ww and then there's the 'last few days limbo'!

Mrs il be following to see what effect your soy has - tx :)

Well I'm cd31 (would be cd32 based on when spotting began last month) and still no af. I did a test on Friday morning and it was bfn. I'm now in deepest, darkest devon with no shops for miles around and no tests. It's a waiting game. I was fine with bfn on Friday and fully expected af. Now Confused! Obviously I'm desperate for this to be it but I'm so annoyed that if its just af pissing around then what should have been a fairly relaxed month for me has now turned into me limiting myself to checking for af to once an hour madness!

DianaOstara · 24/05/2015 17:37

Sorry for typos patty and fingers crossed for you Mrs!

Pikz · 24/05/2015 18:46

Can I join? Been ttc#2 for 18 months now. Had a lap, dye and hysteroscopy in December with endo removal so hoping for some luck.

Took soy for the first time last month and going to try again this month. Af due mid June

Will read back and catch up

Torfhinn · 24/05/2015 20:02

Hi Pikz and welcome, what a journey you've been on! I hope your wait is nearly over Smile

Hello cycle (bud)buddy Patty! Not DTD as much as I would have liked this past week but don't want to put pressure on DH so trying to be relaxed about it all. Still, only CD 13 so may get another 1 or 2 in before the TWW.

I've been thinking about the OPK's too Mrs but feel it's probably best for me to steer clear for now as I think I will become a bit obsessed with them! Pre TTC, I got OV pain every month, but these last 2 months... nothing. That (and EWCM) were my only guides to OV, so the idea of confirming OV is appealing. Holding off for now though Confused

CarrotPuff · 24/05/2015 22:15

Welcome ellie and Pikz. Sorry this is has been such a long journey for you Pikz, hopefully not too much longer Flowers

Congrats Marys, I think you have posted this on mc thread too?

Whoever is attempting soy I really suggest do your research first. As much as it can help, it can mess things up too.

I know a lot of people say AF counts from full flow, but I always count from the first sight of her. As for me that's when I know she's here. But then I only get a few hours of spotting prior to arrival, so it only can delay things by one day if it starts in the evening IYSWIM.

I'm at the start of 2ww, don't know how many dpo, but I also don't want to know... Due to test in 2 weeks, that's all I know Wink

So I'm 9dpo. And I poas this morning... In my defence I did that because I'm doing the 5:2 fasting diet, and today is supposed to be a fast day, except you are not supposed to fast if pregnant. So within 5 mins I though I saw the faintest hint of a line. Dismissed it as seeing things and went to give ds his brekkie. Looked again after brekkie and there is defo a line. But it is so faint i can't make up my mind if its pink or grey. Argh evap or early bfp... I guess I will have to wait and see.

ellie3009 · 25/05/2015 10:11

So this is it but it's now 2 hours since I did it, so it's dry. Not sure how dark an evap would be.

TTC #2 - would anyone like to share the journey?
Indomitable · 25/05/2015 11:16

I can't see a line ellie, but then, I never can on mn pics! Can you try taking a closer pic? Either way, I think you'll be ok to fast at 9DPO.

I've just realised I can start to join in a bit now: I'm on CD3 today, and it's the grand de-coiling on CD17 - which is a bit late for this month. But I'm excited to finally joining in!

ellie3009 · 25/05/2015 12:45

I can't get a better picture - my stupid phone camera won't do a macro shot. I'm not normally one for symptom spotting as I kinda think the tww is too early to have any, but I had terrible heartburn last night, I had to hunt out the bottle of gaviscon that has been untouched since I was pregnant with DS. Heartburn was my only symptom of pregnancy with DS, all the way through and so bad I ended up with the Gp prescribing omperalzole.

ellie3009 · 25/05/2015 12:49

This is it with a filter applied. I know people normally invert colours but don't know if my phone will do that!

mrsmugoo · 25/05/2015 12:53

I had hideous heartburn too - mine was breech all the way to the end so I never had the relief of him dropping down, ugh it was hell!

ellie3009 · 25/05/2015 12:54

Well done to carrotpuff and torlfhinn for being more restrained than me with the pee sticks! fingers crossed for you Diana, hope you get an answer soon.

ellie3009 · 25/05/2015 14:55

Did another at 2pm. Have changed the contrast to get around my phone camera being crappy. Surely this can't be an evap?

CarrotPuff · 25/05/2015 15:38

Ellie I rarely see anything on IC pics but I do see it. On the first picture. I can't tell what colour it is, but I'm keeping fingers crossed for you! I'd say get a better stick in a couple days (Superdrug own brand are quite good and cheap) and pee again. GL!

DianaOstara · 25/05/2015 16:16

Ellie I think I can see a line in the first photo too - fx!!!

Well I found an excuse to get out of the house and drive the 16 mile round trip to the nearest Morrison's but have just done a test and bfn. Also think I've seen the first hints of red tinge. Oh well. Glad I know now as I was seriously convincing myself I was pg. Dh being cool, calm and collected as usual suggested we just wait and see when I told him this morning.

Half term Wine for me this week!

ellie3009 · 25/05/2015 17:59

Sorry you got a.bfn Diana. But it's not over until af shows up. Are you a teacher too?

DianaOstara · 25/05/2015 20:48

Just got back from our time away and af is here Sad.

I'm a primary TA Ellie... how about you?

ellie3009 · 25/05/2015 23:57

Secondary. Sorry af got you Sad
My 2pm was defo the palest of pink and within the time so not evap but I'm spotting this eve so think it's going to be a chemical. Sad
