Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

Sarah Issie I'm still getting lower cramps, they're really getting me down as they're there constantly. Going to phone gp's once I've took dc to school. Feel abit :( that I'm going through this alone as still haven't told dh as I don't feel the pregnancy is viable :( I'm going to do a digital test a week today in half term week, if Af doesn't get me before then, if that's positive then I'll tell dh then, for now I've got you girlies to moan to as nobody in.RL knows :(

Ah brooke feel so bad you are going through his alone. Are you sure dh wouldn't want to support you even if things don't work out?

sarah you're right about first few cycles off pill they can be all screwy & get your hopes up. Then there are always the positive stories of women who got caught straight away. Drs can't do anything this early you'll need to give things a few months to settle down. Did you ov? Can't remember if you were using sticks or not?

brooke I've got everything crossed for you. So sad that you can't get excited about your line!

Am cd26 today, I don't opk or chart & baby sparkles still BF a lot! ( unsure if ov is happening at a decent time) had EWCM & dtd plenty at fertile time
12,12,13,14,15,16,17 - didn't manage one for luck at cd18 as planned, much too pooped!

Have been keeping things low key during my tww hence my absence. Trying not to obsess too much. No symptoms to report at all...very boring I'm afraid. Don't think it'll be my month but we'll have to wait and see.
Planning to poas fri am as AF due that day I think!

sparkles i got my hopes up but i seem to think i'll just know when i'm pregnant and i dont feel pregnant so i'm counting myself out. Wasnt using sticks but i think i might buy some if nothing has happened by the end of the week (dont think temping will work for me). but then i'm also thinking maybe i shouldnt do anything and just see what happens... fx for you! a lot of dtd there so you're in with a good chance!

sparkles still no sign of AF for me, due Saturday but I usually have signs by now. I'm also feeling as though I could be pregnant, though after 7 cycles I don't want to get my hopes up too much. Not testing until Saturday morning, FX!!

Issie I am very impressed that you haven't tested yet! Remembering last month when you had 3 different test dates on the stats, and everyone else had 1 lol!

This morning was horrible but I've picked myself up now and put myself back together. Bless him OH was so disappointed, he told me that he hadn't said anything as he hadn't wanted to get my hopes up but he had really thought we had caught this time! Would be amazing to get a BFP next cycle in time for fathers day!

OOOh sounds promising Issie FX for you. SO hard not to get your hopes up isn't it? I am due any time now really - although probably tomorrow. Haven't felt pregnant at all and had lots of signs I am prob not but today I have woken up with really sore boobs and I have really gotten my hopes up.....even though that could totally be PMS. Also keep thinking 'well AF hasnt arrived so maybe....' even though she isnt late yet!! Promised myself I wouldn't do this to myself so a bit annoyed with myself!

Thanks violet I have to admit I'm really gutted this time, my cycle and body felt totally different this month, wondering if I did conceive but it didn't stick, don't suppose it's relevant now anyway. I'm sure I'll be ok again tomorrow but not feeling great right now

It really sucks doesn't it, the continuous dashing of hope especially when you have a feeling. Be kind to yourself & drink a nice big glass of whatever you fancy.

I don't have a feeling and have had no symptoms at all, am planning on poas tomorrow cd28 although I should bide my time and wait for af. I seem to enjoy torturing myself by weeing on my hard earned cash (earned by hubby - still on mat leave obvs....) and chucking it in the bin when neg.

Don't you ladies go getting excited as I'm fully expecting a bfn.

Issie I'm having a debate in my head today about what to do about next month and the ttc future. I need to find a way to get my head around the fact that this could realistically take a long time, up to a year plus and trying to get the the point where I'm ok with that. At the moment I don't know how I'm going to cope with the raised hopes and disappointment month after month, if this does take 6mths to a year, which I know is perfectly normal.

So I feel like I've two options, I can go all out again next month to give myself the best chance (SMEP, start temping, opk's, vits, off caffeine, off alcohol, eating loads of the green stuff etc) which doesn't stress me out, but does make ttc a bit all consuming. Or do I relax, do none of this stuff and just go with the flow, have regular sex and try not to think about ttc. However this approach will mean that it will probably take longer and realistically is it possible for me to not think about ttc???

What are you all planning for the next month (if a BFP doesn't happen)?

violet well I didn't try hard at all with DD, drank a LOT of coffee, was working ridiculous hours all over the country, lots of international flights...and conceived within a few months. Am trying a lot harder this time, no where near as stressful job, have cut out caffeine, taking vits etc. and no joy after 7 months. There really seems to be no reason to it at all!!

Not sure what I'll be doing this month but I think trying to relax has got to be a good thing.

Baby sparkles conceived on family holiday abroad, boy sparkles complete accident - know exactly when he was conceived as almost immaculate conception hehe - again on holiday!
Older dd cycle 2 - on holiday. Hhhmmm ttc may have just got expensive.

I am pregnant with dc4!
I am now slightly terrified of an 18 month age gap!
