Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

When we're ttc I double fold a pillow under my bottom after dtd which tends to be last thing after baby's dream feed so I can go straight to sleep. Then get about 5 hours slightly raised with gravity helping the swimmers reach their destination. Probably makes no difference but has worked 3 times for me so am superstitious now!

There are gaps and there may be errors as there is a lot of us now.

VioletIbiza88 · 11/05/2015 12:03

Brooke don't be silly you are not a failure, you probably conceived your current two unusually quickly and now are thinking thats the norm. But it isn't! There is no reason to think that anything is wrong with you, and you are not out this month yet. Hugs hun. x

tashajade22 · 11/05/2015 12:04

Hi im new to all this.. Me and my partner agreed to start TTC around 4 weeks ago but since stopping my pill ive had no period just a withdrawal bleed. Been taking OPK test everyday and nothing, took pregnacy test nothing still.. arr just want to ovulate or have a period so I can start tracking everything !! why is it all so complicated ?!!

Issie339 · 11/05/2015 13:15

brooke don't be upset hun, as Violet said you're only on cycle 3 and its totally normal for it to take a lot longer to get pregnant. I'm on cycle 7 and certainly haven't given up hope so I won't let you despair at cycle 3! I know a lot of people who took a long time to get pregnant- 3 who took over a year, one who took 8 months and another few who took about 6 months, and that's just the ones I know well enough that they would tell me that. People don't usually tell you they've been trying for ages and so it seems that everyone just gets pregnant straight away but they don't. Sending cyber hugs to you hun, please don't be too upset, it'll happen.

Hi tashajade welcome. How frustrating for you, I hope your cycle gets sorted soon.

Thanks for the updated list Violet! Fabulous as always Smile

sarah1391 · 11/05/2015 13:16

Brooke Flowers ur not a failure! I believe everything happens when it's meant to, hopefully for u that will be soon!

violet age 24, when is BFP due? Is it the day AF is due? Also methods...dtd whenever DP is at home

sarah1391 · 11/05/2015 13:18

Hi tashajade! We're kind of in the same boat. I came off the pill and had my bleed then it was just under 5 weeks until i got my real period. Everyone is different though and it can take a while for ur first period to come. I was on the pill for 9 years so wasnt expecting it so quick!

firsttimenewbie · 11/05/2015 13:29

Ah brooke I really feel for you. You really aren't a failure at all. It just takes everyone different amounts of time. :-( hope you start feeling better about it soon xx
violet I am 27 and only method so far is dtd. Thanks for the stats :-)

VioletIbiza88 · 11/05/2015 14:18

Sarah yeah when AF due, or the day your planning to test if after AF due date.

TashaJade welcome! When I stopped the pill to start ttc, I had a 5 week cycle before first real AF. Sure AF will be along soon and then you can get started properly.

Brooke113 · 11/05/2015 14:25

Thankyou girls, I feel abit better now, although I tried talking to dh about how I feel this morning and he seemed like he's given up already...gave me the whole "well we have two happy, healthy children" I k.ow this and I'm thankful, I just needed him to be abit more supportive :(
Violet you were absolutely spot on, when you said I probably conceived dc incredibly quickly, first cycle, and second cycle, so I just thought It would be the same this time...stupid I know.

I'm going to try and be more positive :) I know Af is on her way, so just need her to come so I can concentrate on next cycle.

sarah1391 · 11/05/2015 14:47

violet planning to test 19th (AF due 18th) although i'm not holding out much hope!

How did I manage to miss maybes BFP!!!!
Belated congrats Flowers

sparklesandfizz · 11/05/2015 18:07

Also clearly x posted with you this morning brooke
Don't be silly you are only on cycle 3 - It will happen and when it does it will be all the more special for being so eagerly awaited.
The problem is we are all sooooo impatient, the thought of newborn snuggles is enough to send us ladies completely gaga bonkers.
Out with the girls tonight so will check in later xxx

Issie339 · 11/05/2015 19:04

Wow out with the girls on a Monday night sparkles you are wild!! Wink

LazyDaisy99 · 11/05/2015 19:38

Hi violet my stats are: age 31 ttc #1, BFP due goodness knows! First proper cycle after coming off the pill and my first AF took 42 days to appear so really not sure when, best guess is 27th may.

LazyDaisy99 · 11/05/2015 19:43

Slightly disheartened to be honest... It all seems so unlikely... Can't imagine ever being pregnant... Reading these posts from all you lovely ladies helps me feel better and gives me hope it might happen one day, thank you everyone and loads of love and luck and baby dust to you all xxx

firsttimenewbie · 11/05/2015 20:20

I feel EXACTLY the same way lazydaisy. Can't ever imagine it happening to me and find it hard to believe it will. Fx for both of us xx

sarah1391 · 11/05/2015 23:29

lazydazy i'm the same, only had 1 real period after coming off the pill so on my first cycle (with a guess of AF being due 19th). Feeling a bit meh tonight, sat wondering if i'm pregnant or if my body is even back to normal after coming off the pill (had quite long cycles anyway - never 28 days, more like 38). Hate not knowing whats going on

Brooke113 · 12/05/2015 07:52

Couldn't help myself this morning, poas, as had 1 frer left, of course it was a bfn, but I secretly hoped these cramps were good news, I should have knew I'd be wrong, cd23 and Af due next Tuesday, I just want it to hurry up now, these cramps are horrible :(

Issie339 · 12/05/2015 08:27

Sorry for your bfn brooke though at 6 days before AF it is still very early to test so I'll keep my fx AF doesn't arrive for you.

Dtd marathon is over for me now, managed cd8,12,14,15,16,17,18,19. OH totally over it by this point! Lols. Officially in tww now. Had some sickness and burning feeling in pelvis area this morning (though I think I always get this...can't remember).

Any symptom spotting this morning?

Brooke113 · 12/05/2015 09:23

Still expected to see a faint line if it were a positive :( I knew it wasn't to be expected though, so onto next cycle, when Af decides to show up.

Fab dtd marathon Issie fingers crossed for you xx

sparklesandfizz · 12/05/2015 10:18

issie not surprised you had some burning in your pelvic region looking at that list of dtd GrinWink

sparklesandfizz · 12/05/2015 10:19

brooke step away from the sticks you don't need me to tell you that it's way way too early to test.
