Strange one for me today, OPK gave me a static smiley face today when I had a blank circle yesterday, so it's totally skipped the flashing smiley...this has never happened before. Do you reckon I'm ovulating today? It is early as I'm not due to ovulate until Saturday. Maybe I'll do another opk this afternoon and see what it says.

I'm just so confused as normal OPKs are negative yet I'm still getting Ewcm, according to Google it means my body has geared up to ov and then hasn't bothered :( will still try dtd every other day I think, but I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle.Going to try temping next cycle and go from there.

Issie I wish I had some advice for you but I've only just started using clearblue OPKs.

Sorry to hear af came lovely. The way i liked to think about it when af came unexpectedly early for me last cycle was, at least cause af has come im now day one of a brand new cycle. Iyswim. Like a moving on kind of thing.

Hi everyone fx for u all! Think i'm going to test after the 18th as i really have no idea what i'm doing...i doubt i will get a BFP this time but u never know! Visiting an old work colleage at the weekend who is 28 weeks pregnant so no doubt i'll leave hers broodier than ever!

Violet you are very wise, I didn't think about the fact that I could ov up to 48 hours after static smiley, that makes a lot more sense now. I couldn't do another opk yesterday because the static smiley has frozen on the screen- Google tells me it does this for 2 days. So I'm going to trust the static smiley was correct and crack on.

Morning everyone :) I've never been so happy NOT to see Ewcm this morning hoping that means that I have ov'd this month :) I purchased a bbt yesterday so I can temp next cycle, I'll know for definite if I've ov'd then and won't have to stress so much.

Lots of us testing around the same time then :) exciting :)

brooke i've read before that after conception some women continue to get EWCM until AF would be due. Fx this is why ur still getting it!

I was thinking earlier how ironic it is...me and dh have probably spent a good 2-3 years of our relationship trying NOT to get pregnant and now we want to, it doesn't want to happen! I'm.not going to completely count this cycle out, but I havnt got high hopes as I don't think iv ov'd. Looking forward to next cycle where I'm giving temping a go, at least I'll know my body is ovulating then.

It sure is! I only came off the pill the end of Feb so this is our first month actually trying but i dont know if/when i ovulated. I'm going to try temping too, we can try it out together! (assuming we dont get BFPs soon).

My whole "i'm going to try and be relaxed" thing is going terrible, i'm actually panicking every time i go to the toilet because i really dont want AF to come

Oh brooke you sound so stressed hun In all likelihood you are ovulating but I totally understand the stressing out. Just offering some hand-holding

Anybody due to test soon?

I'll be testing in 2 weeks, think today is ov day for me and have dtd cd8,12,14,15,16,17 and tomorrow will be cd18. Really going for it this month! Officially in my tww from tomorrow. Who else is now in tww?

Wow Issie, good run of days there! We tried to have a few days dtd but Dh complained that he was sore I felt so bad going to try and relax a little more next cycle.

I've decided I'm testing no earlier than may 19th when Af is due, as tested so early last cycle and just felt fed up, going to actually wait for Af to be late this time.

brooke issie i'm going to test some time after the 18th...dont really want to test on the 18th incase i get a BFN

I dont think i'll get a BFP and currently having a small can of pear cider! (Pretty sure its allowed this early even if i do get one!)

Issie - I'm going to try to hold out to CD35 which will be Tuesday 26th May, but I don't know if I will make it that long!!(or will even have the opportunity as AF may have come). We dtd cd8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, & 17. Today is CD18 (our day off), and we will do our "one for luck" go tomorrow CD19. OH is definitely tired of it now, so I really hope its work

I will be in my tww now too, but not sure when it started/what DPO I am? Solid smiley was on Wednesday (CD15). So when do you start counting DPO, is it the day after the solid smiley or the day after that??

I'm counting the day after smiley, although I'm not too sure either Violet good for you if you hold out until cd35, I don't think I can do it!

violet you've had a really good run of it too this month! I'm not sure about dpo, I got smiley on Thursday but my dates say I should have ov today and my cycle is really regular so I'm counting today as ov day. AF due 23rd and like you and brooke I'm going to hold out until it's (hopefully) late so probably test about 24th.

We shall see how it goes Brooke I will try. Think I will count it as if I ov'd on Thursday (day after smiley face). So yesterday DPO1, today DPO2. Expecting (hoping it won't come) AF on the 22nd, which would be 14 days after ov. So if no AF by then that will be a very positive sign.
