Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

Morning ladies, I had a huge post typed out last night, before my phone decided to freeze on me :( I was going to type it out again, but Dh distracted me Grin

Negative OPK this morning on day 9 but tons of Ewcm which is strange, this ttc malarkey is hard work :(

Nobody knows in RL that were ttc either Maybe and fay and tbh I don't want to tell anyone, we have one dc of each and everybody is always all "aww you've got one of each, how nice, you won't be having anymore then.?." blah

Grrrr getting confused now :( on day 20 of my 28 day cycle and now have 14 high fertility tests in a row since day 7... doing a progesterone test tomorrow to check if I've even ovulated. Anyone else had this scenario? Hmm

lovely - what opks are you using? If its clear blue the instructions say after a certain number of days of high fertility to stop testing as it won't go to peak .

Issie - I didn't have a headache today, just very tired!! Yesterdays needed two doses of paracetamol an only shifted when I woke up this morning.

Oh an I was wrong about dtd a thon, it doesn't start today, its tomorrow. Going to start opks tomorrow as well.

Violet I was loads better yesterday, didn't even need paracetamol though felt a bit sluggish. Day 2 of no caffeine here I come! Grin

Lovely- hmm, that sounds strange, I really don't know whaf would cause that. What's a progesterone test by the way?

How's everyone else, any news?

Yea using clearblue. This is first mth it's ever done it which is odd. Usually I'll ovulate straight after period or on day 10ish. Some ppl have said it cld be cos I'm already pregnant and that's y its staying high but don't want to get my hopes up.
Issue a progesterone test is done on day 21 of your cycle to see if you have ovulated previously.

Hi all, please can I join in with you lovely ladies? I came off the pill at the end of Feb and now ttc, didn't change things much in the first cycle as wasn't sure when/if I'd ovulate and AF didn't appear for 42 days, hoping this cycle is a bit shorter but can't remember what I was regularly like before the pill as that was 8 years ago! This waiting game is very frustrating and I know it could last ages so must calm myself!

Hi Daisy, I came of the pill to ttc at end of Jan. My first cycle was 34 days, then next one was 28 days, this last one surprised me been only 26 days! I also can't remember pre-pill days, don't think I ever paid much attention tbh. Are you ttc #1?

Dtd-a-thon started today, at a ridiculously early hour of the morning before OH had to leave for work. Will be hard to keep up with SMEP with my horrible work shifts! Got three night shifts on CD,20,21 and 22, so hoping ov will have been and gone well before that, as with OH on 9-5 hrs and me on 7-7.30 nights that doesn't give much time for baby dancing lol!

And where is NICKY ???

Sorry in advance for me me post...

I've now got it in my head that I'm not actually ovulating at all :( almost positive opk at Cd12 last month, but Af didn't arrive until vd27, that doesn't add up to me, and the opk wasn't 100% positive...maybe I never ovulated at all, which is why I've bought clearblue ones for now. CD10 today and it was negative, I'm just dying to see that smiley face, so I can stop worrying :(

Violet we had been trying for 15mths and fell pregnant but mc at 6wks. Have had 2 AFs since x

Brooke I'm sure it's fine, if you got positive opk on cd12 and AF on cd27 that sounds pretty much spot on to me. Hopefully the clearblue opks can put your mind at rest this month. It's so hard not to stress out isn't it, I'm convinced I've got low progesterone or low oestrogen, or polycistic ovaries or something else- the list is long!

violet what cd are you? Not sure what day to start the SMEP thing, I have 31 day cycle and am cd7 today...

Lovely sorry to hear about the mc. Hope you get a good result on your progesterone test today.

Brooke I'm wondering the same after apparently ovulating on CD21 last time. I think sometimes we can just have a one off strange cycle though. I started my clear blue opk's today so also starting the wait for the smiley face!!! How are you finding smep lol?!

So sorry girls for going on and on, I think I'm a constant worrier, always think I have everything going. That smiley face can't come quick enough Violet I'm finding smep ok so far, dtd on cd8, missed out Cd9 and have prewarned Dh for tonight lol

Hi everyone, hi violet, yes ttc #1 waiting for some opk's to arrive but already on cd14 so dtd every other day anyway.

Nice to read your posts as all this is new to me and my OH is not really interested in talking about the minute detail of the mechanics of the female body quite as much as I'm thinking about it at the moment!

Lovely I've noticed an increased appetite, feeling a lot more tired than usual, and strange stomach cramps over the past few days. Not sure about my areolas. I could give Mr Maybe a 'treat' and ask him what he thinks! ShockWink

sorry for disappearing. ....I'm 16dpo and still no AF. ...did test on Monday which was BFN. ...not stressing too much.

me and oh not getting on at.this minute so it's probably for the best for now.

hope your all getting into baby dancing mode for all these BFP in may Smile Smile xxx

You guys are a bit ahead of me as cd5 today, demoralised and knackered (baby sparkles teething) and just waiting to get trying to baby make next week.

This thread is sooooooo quiet the last few days. Everyone's in the crap bit of ttc where you can't actually do anything about anything ie failed last cycle and not yet on the job this month.
