Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

Aw issie339 sorry hun...Thanks Thanks

brooke your allowed to be selfish and sorry for yourself hun...x

sparklesandfizz · 18/04/2015 13:35

Don't be silly Brooke we're all here as sounding boards and hand holders. It's a rocky road and makes it so much easier when you can share the journey with others going through the same thing.
Especially as most of us don't want the added pressure of people in RL knowing we are trying and let's be fair if your DH's are anything like mine babies are an abstract concept(until they re at least 6 weeks old and smiling at him) he has no idea how all consuming it Is once the need to breed strikes.
He'd think I'm proper bonkers if he knew I was on here!!

Indulge and be kind to yourself. You deserve it! Take a few days then pick yourself up ready for the next round.

Oh no issie are you sure? ????

nickynackynoo31 · 18/04/2015 14:16

Well said sparkles.....we're all here no matter what the outcome to shout scream moan as bitch if needed...xx

Brooke113 · 18/04/2015 14:47

Thanks girls, you're all so nice (hugs)

Sorry to hear that Issie keeping everything crossed that Af keeps away for you xx

Issie339 · 18/04/2015 14:51

Thanks everyone.

Pretty sure Sparkles, you never know but I'd be very surprised if I turned out to be pregnant now. Feeling pretty down about it as that will be 6 failed attempts now Sad it was just so easy with our first, I can't work out why it's not happening this time.

How's everyone else getting on?

VioletIbiza88 · 18/04/2015 15:09

Hiya,

Brooke, your entitled to feel gutted, don't worry about having a moan, as has been said, that's the point of this thread, to get us all through whatever the outcomes!

Issie, hope your wrong! Are you going to use that test tomorrow?

Nicky - lol at "it's there in the background", I had nausea around the time of ov, and even though I know that whether or not I'm having "symptoms" has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not im pregnant, I'm also still telling myself "yes it's gone, but don't worry it's still there in the background!!"

Sparkles - when are you testing, I will amend the list!

Me and OH went for a walk today down the canal, thought I'd try to take my mind of it, and I managed to see two very heavily pregnant ladies and at least two couples with prams. Not so many you might think, but these were actually the only people I saw on my hour long walk on a really sunny day!!!! Aargghh!!

sparklesandfizz · 18/04/2015 15:11

Ow issie try and stay positive. Worth remembering that in the long run we have the children we have ( and for those ttc#1 the children you will have) because a particular egg met a particular sperm. If it happened another month you wouldn't have the baby you have. iYKWIM! I wouldn't swap any of mine for another so worth the wait at this end. Love and hugs x

sparklesandfizz · 18/04/2015 15:16

Violet we must stop x posting!
lol atyourtake your mind off it walk!
Will probably test a week today (or maybe fri....)
Off out to park now to run them like dogs so can have an indulgent early mumsnet night. xx

Issie339 · 18/04/2015 15:18

You're right Sparkles, maybe the baby I'm meant to have just isn't ready this month.

Violet, I won't test now unless AF doesn't show up by 24th, but pretty sure I'll know before then. Did you manage to stop yourself pointing out all the babies and pregnant ladies on your walk to your OH? Mine doesn't like that kind of thing lols.

No BFPs on this thread yet so one of you ladies has got to get one this month!

nickynackynoo31 · 18/04/2015 16:03

Aw feeling rather emotional at the thread today Sad Sad

sending big hugs to you all xx

nickynackynoo31 · 18/04/2015 16:29

anyone else experienced slight cramping during tww???
I've had very mild cramping feeling on and off all day Sad Sad x

VioletIbiza88 · 18/04/2015 18:25

No not had any Nicky. Why do u think that's bad or good??? I'm the pub now (not drinking obviously) but someone's come in an sat at the table opposite an put a baby in a baby carrier down, such is my day!!I've decided to test nextMonday an if negative Thursday.

nickynackynoo31 · 18/04/2015 19:15

I'm not sure violet....there not horrendous so I'm not thinking it's bad....

AF is due Friday so not sure when would be best to test...wetter to just wait or to do it early...

Aw I hate it when that happens..how is it when you want something so bad there is lots of that thing about...ie.pregnant ladies or babies Angry Angry Angry
it's like you've a bright light over your head saying "show me the pregnant bellys/ new babies" grrrr xx

VioletIbiza88 · 18/04/2015 19:49

I know Nicky, I can't get away from them today!! What type of test are you going to use. I've got a clear blue one ordered (2 pack). When I test on Monday it should be two days before AF due. My app does say its due Monday but I'm working it out as 14 days from ov will be Wednesday (is that right??) So it should be 90-97% accurate on Monday and then more than 99% accurate on Thursday. So if your using the same and AF due Friday then maybe test on Wednesday?? Depends on how accurate you want it and how good your will power is lol!! Good luck x

sparklesandfizz · 18/04/2015 20:41

Hmmm Nicky could be good news, some folk do report implantation cramps.
I'm crap at tww can't really remember having anything to hang my hat on with any of the others though.
All consuming tiredness and sore boobs 1st thing followed by metallic taste, heightened sense of smell and then the vomit fest expected by 7 weeks to continue til approx 20 weeks. All following BFP never really before!
Now I've recalled all that - what am I doing?!?

If you manage to hold out til AF due you're a better woman than me. I may join you POAS on Friday if you do manage to wait til then though.

Violet Monday is so close how exciting!

Babies all tucked up, house tidied and locked up for the night and I'm in bed catching up with thread. Quite like nights when hubby on call. ( I have no life)

sparklesandfizz · 18/04/2015 20:45

Oops just rechecked stats and see its a week Monday - sorry!
Brain like sieve!

nickynackynoo31 · 18/04/2015 23:16

I haven't a clue which to use violet to be honest...I'm so scared to do one as I don't want to see a BFN Sad Sad
I will try stick it out as long as possible tho...maybe Thurs or Friday if AF not arrive before...

is it me and you sparkle to test this week?? x

sparklesandfizz · 19/04/2015 06:27

Yup, fingers crossed x

Issie339 · 19/04/2015 11:02

How's everyone feeling today, any more symptoms? Excited for news of you ladies tesring this week.

TMI alert!!! I get light brown discharge in the 4-5 days before AF and no change today (day 2 of discharge) so as much as I'd love to believe it isn't, I'm still pretty sure this is AF on its way.

Lookingforadvice123 · 19/04/2015 13:07

Hi girls! Just caught up on the posts after being away in Valencia with DH in a few days. Trying not to symptom spot as I can only be 6 or 7 days dpo so as if I would have symptoms already! Sorry to everyone who's had their AFs, I'm dreading getting mine next weekend even though it's only cycle 1. I think exactly the same as pp, WHY doesn't it just happen if you're having enough sex around the right time of the month?! Going to order myself some clear blue opks though just to use next month to reassure me that I'm ovulating.

Question for those more in the know than me - af is due next Sunday, but I've got a wedding party next Sat and don't want to drink if there's a chance I could be pg. but don't want to not drink if I'm not! Would you poas on the Sat? It will be the day before af should be due (I've had a longer 31 day cycle before but it's usually bang on 28 days)? Sat will be cycle day 27, don't know if it's too early to poas...

sparklesandfizz · 19/04/2015 13:33

Nope sat not too early, go for it looking!
Hope Valencia nice

nickynackynoo31 · 19/04/2015 15:33

issie339 fingers crossed may is the month for you Thanks

looking. ..hope you had a lovely time and Saturday should be good to test..fingers crossed x

nickynackynoo31 · 19/04/2015 15:35

sparkles I've had 2 children and it's like I haven't as I can't remember anything lol... x

Brooke113 · 19/04/2015 16:22

Ooh looking valencia, how beautiful :)

Im excited to hear everybody's news too, keeping everything crossed for you all.

I'm.still in a rubbish mood, Af hasnt started yet, but I have awful cramps, it's playing with my mind now! I also.had a horrible argument with hubby about it not happening for us next month either if it hasn't happened this month (stupid I know) as we havnt even started trying yet this month as I'm.counting myself out :(

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 19/04/2015 16:32
