anyone concieved using withdrawal method?!

Hi guys..i bet this one's been done b4, but can anyone tell me their experiences with using the withdrawal method as contraception? many thanks xx

Withdrawal is not 'contraception' in any sensible use of the term.

I've had no trouble with it at all.

BUT, I'm not very fertile - or we aren't very fertile together.

So works for us!

do you also have an eye on your cycle/the calendar though, expat? Otherwise it would seem to me to be too risky.

erm....not a great method!

LOL at sherlock!

even before a man ejaculates.....a few little swimmers are released...if you are in a fertile time....well, you could well get pregnant

i wouldn;t take a chance....

if you wouldn;t be bothered about getting pregnant..then go for it...no hormones, no pills to take......etc....

but not very reliable..

i only have to be in the same room as a single sperm without at least 3 methods of contraception in operation to get pregnant!!

i got one of those machines (persona?) after the first baby to try out coz i didnt mind that much if i got pg really... was pg before i had a chance to open the box! i was fully bfeeding my 3 month old son when i conceived! then number 3 wasnt far behind... im REALLY careful now

he was gutted...looking forward to trying for a baby!!

hmmmm well not currently ttc however not overly bothered if it happened. Am assuming though that most of the withdrawal accidents were due to not pulling out in time?!! I have always thought that it would be quite unlikely to get pregnant without a full blast going up there (sorry that's gross i know!)

Isn't it really disappointing though - getting off at Paisley instead of Glasgow Central?

I never worry. Like I said, it took ages for us.

My mum took years to fall pregnant. Of course, in the 1960s, they blamed it all on the woman. She was in her early 20s, having regular, 5-7 day long periods complete w/mittelschmertz and had a GYN tell her she was only ovulating a few times a year.

My dad - 11 years older - told this guy, 'I think it's possible I could be firing blanks.'

haha oops i've been avoiding full jet-washes of swimmers but have had numerous sessions this month thinking it was almost safe...i'm such an idiot...
