Just realised that this month is my last chance if I'm going to have a baby before I turn 35 Confused

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 16:30

Oyster this is the one! Star

Quietlyhopeful81 · 18/03/2015 16:39

Fingers crossed for you oyster!

Quietlyhopeful81 · 18/03/2015 16:44

Yes sparkly that would be a pretty awesome year if we are lucky enough to get a baby/bfp alongside our wedding! I was /am kind of hoping we would get lucky in time for our future child to be at our wedding. Hmm

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 16:46

Quietly well you have a good window left for that to happen! I have everything crossed for you Grin

Nomio230 · 18/03/2015 16:46

Oyster, that is a good incentive for lots of DTD next month. Better warn hubby!

Juney, try not to feel down. It sounds to me as if you timed your insemination well. Do you have a plan for next month? Not that you will need it. Grin

I have no idea what is going on with my body. I had a big temp drop on Sunday & got my usual AF pains. Three days later, I still keep getting the feeling that I am about to come on any minute, but have just had occasional light spotting for the last few days. My temps are still really low. I have done several tests, all BFN. Now FF is saying that I didn't ovulate this month, despite having a positive OPK, soft cervix & temp rise. Confused

Quietlyhopeful81 · 18/03/2015 16:50

Thanks Sparkly. I have everything crossed for you too. I always keep up with the buses even when I don't post and I can't wait to see you get your bfp!

Nomio FF did that to me last month too but when I got af late and input it, it put the crosshairs back in. It seems cruel when af is late and your ttc. Sad

spinningirl10 · 18/03/2015 17:07

Oyster. A spread sheetShock super impressed!

Purdey, ah that's good. I was worried about her and knew you'd have some good advice Smile

Sparkly, yes they text. I probably get 2-3 texts a day regarding school stuff, and emails and newsletters. Really not sure they need 3 methods of communication and I don't know who funds all the text messages unless it's possible to send them from a computer?!

jugglingmonkey · 18/03/2015 17:11

Tender armpits, 9/10 DPO. Anyone has this before?? Can armpits be classed as boobs??!!

mrsb0710 · 18/03/2015 17:17

DH and I have kind of agreed on names, but I'm fairly sure after he witnesses me popping out a baby, and all that entails - I'll get my way. Haha Smile

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 17:21

Mrsb ha ha good theory. Never thought of that positive aspect of being the one giving birth! Grin

Spinning whaaaat?! Seriously?! Next it will be FaceTime with the teachers.

juggling I used to get that every cycle pre AF.. I think it's related to progesterone. So could go either way! Fingers crossed for you Flowers

nomio oh how frustrating lovely!! Was there a def temp shift that you think indicates OV? If so, that joined with the positive OPK and cervix I would say FF are off their game and maybe AF is just a little late?? So annoying I know. Hope it becomes clear soon for you.Sending Flowers

Nomio230 · 18/03/2015 17:35

Yep, there was a definite shift & I have had crosshairs on FF all month, plus it said DPO in the boxes, but after putting in today's temp, it has given up on me!

If I am definitely not PG, I just want to get AF over with.

DH and I don't really agree on many names. He likes lots, but I am super fussy. I think we will struggle when the time comes, but I am liking the whole 'I gave birth, so I will get my way' argument Mrsb

dojo123 · 18/03/2015 17:36

Blummin work getting in the way of MN again!.. Just going back through to catch up.

loopylou1984 · 18/03/2015 17:39

Purdey - I only edited them in to see what happend, have changed back now! Lol.
Are they really invalid though? Even though I'd had 4/5 hours sleep? Xx

dojo123 · 18/03/2015 17:40

giddy yes that looks like a BFP. Congrats

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 18:13

nomio so it's changed after only one temp?!? That's so strange. Oh I so hope AF doesn't arrive for you lovely Flowers

Does anyone else notice how quiet these buses are lately. I think the whole of the MN TTC world have been dwindling off as they have got their BFPs! This is good though girls.. It Means we are next!! Grin

mrsb0710 · 18/03/2015 18:15

I told DH if I mess up my foof pushing out a kid, he'll never be allowed to forget it! Naming our child will be the least he owes me Grin

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 18:19

Ha ha mrsb Grin too true!

wotsits1 · 18/03/2015 18:37

oyster I love the baby name spreadsheet! I wish my dh had one... I'd be glad of the inspiration.

I dunno if I'd go Christmas themed with baby names. Probably not. I have a few names I adore that aren't christmassy so doubt id get beyond those.

Juney I think you timed ov perfectly so please stop stressing. I've got everything crossed for you!

Just reading back... give me a sec to catch up!

wotsits1 · 18/03/2015 18:42

CONGRATS GIDDY!!! Thanks

spinningirl10 · 18/03/2015 18:55

Sparkly, here's the recipe: I didn't use as much maple syrup. Probably about a third of what's suggested. The bananas are sweet enough??
Banana Loaf:

  • 5 large over-ripe bananas
  • 1 cup of almonds
  • 2 cups of pecans
  • 1 cup of buckwheat or brown rice flour
  • 1/2 a cup of maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
Start by pre-heating the oven to 145C. Then blend the almonds and pecans in a food processor so that they form a flour, this should take about thirty seconds. Once it’s smooth remove the flour and add it to a mixing bowl with the buckwheat flour, maple syrup, chia seeds and cinnamon, mixing them all together.

Next mash the bananas together until smooth before stirring them into the bread mix, at this point the mixture should be really nice and sticky.

Grease a loaf tin with coconut oil and then pour in the mix and allow it to bake for about an hour.

babsbunny · 18/03/2015 19:02

Hi ladies. Hope everyone is having a nice Tuesday evening. Golly it's really starting to feel spring like in the evenings!

Going home to give dh a big hug after being a grump this morning. May even partake in a teeny tiny glass of wine....is that really bad?

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 19:06

Spinning thanking you! I'm not a pecan fan are they essential you think? Sounds like a good recipe!! Have you ever used coconut palm sugar??

mummyofonesofar · 18/03/2015 19:12

I had no internet for a couple hours tonight. Only came back to a couple of posts Hmm very quiet! Then again everyone is posting on fb as well as MN.
