S'true, we're absolutely awash in spunk BFP's this month! So if you fancy gaining three stone, refusing sex for ever twelve months, losing your marbles sight of your feet...then come and join us in our quest for a babby.

My thermometer just arrived so I thought I'd give it a try to see how loud the beeping was and to make sure I can use it properly in the morning! It gave me a reading of 38.55 c. That's officially a fever? I don't think I have a fever. Did I get a dud thermometer?.....

babsbunny · 18/03/2015 14:25

Did you just sup a really hot cup of kissing?Grin

nightandthelight · 18/03/2015 14:30

Mine would be 22nd December Mum, would actually really love that as DH would get longer off work with baby and I wouldn't be expected to either host Christmas or go to anyone else's for Christmas (am horribly antisocial with family). Can see that it wouldn't be ideal for most normal people though Grin

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 14:32

I'm over the whole skipping Christmas thing. I just want a baby! Anytime!! Ha haGrin

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 14:34

Sorry just realised what I wrote there- understand other people feel differently and I thought I would too but now time for march/April has come round I def won't be stopping trying. Flowers

Woolly84 · 18/03/2015 14:35

Hi everyone! Yay for giddy again! Grin
About 3 dpo today and it's me burfdayyy!! Grin told DH I want a BFP please Wink
We're going away for a few days so hoping for some distraction from the TWW!
Good luck to all those POASing soon! Smile

mummyofonesofar · 18/03/2015 14:35

Mine would be 8th December, so would also get longer with DP, thoug I am pretty certain he wouldn't want to take the full 2 weeks parental leave on the back of his holiday pay over Christmas (he has to take 2 weeks over Christmas when building sites coes) both payments are alot lower than his pay and he woud freak out - he worries about money enough as it is!

Would I be mad to want to go and spend Christmas at my DD's house and be looked after the whole time and have everyone cooing around our new bundle? Hmm I am sure that would be hell for most people!

In Jan when we decided to start ttc, we said we would give a Dec due date cycle a miss but really cannot stop now - what if this would have been our lucky cycle?

juneybean · 18/03/2015 14:36

Happy birthday woolly !!! We are cycle buddies!

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 14:36

Woolly great distraction! Happy birthday lovely!! Fingers crossed for a late birthday gift then! Flowers

mummyofonesofar · 18/03/2015 14:37

Woolly Happy birthday! Should I change your age in the stats or leve them as they are? Wink Have a lovely time away Flowers

juneybean · 18/03/2015 14:37

I think someone's age I entered as older as they mentioned they had a birthday coming up...

nightandthelight · 18/03/2015 14:39

Happy birthday woolly! You sound crazy to me mummy but then I don't get on well with family (or in-laws) so will do everything I can to keep them away. Sounds like you have good relationships with family though so do what's right for you! Smile

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 14:40

Feel the same mummy we are cycle 7 now, I think being so close in January then mc has made it even more clear to us that missing a month is losing a chance that could be the one. And really.. What's not to love about a Christmas baby? I'm a planner.. A real, to the finer detail planner., but this is def something you can't plan. We thought it was when we started but it's def not and we are going onwards!! My dh is in construction too so gets the two weeks off over Xmas which for us would be great as would mean could take the leave after. Anyway.. Fingers crossed!!!! Massively!!! Star

HeirToTheIronThrone · 18/03/2015 14:42

Happy birthday Woolly and huge congratulations to you Giddy. Is that about half a dozen bfps in the last week or so? That's a lot!

mummyofonesofar · 18/03/2015 14:43

Fx for you Sparkly I really hope you get your BFP this cycle and your precious Christmas baby who is waiting for you Star

Woolly84 · 18/03/2015 14:44

Ah thank you everyone!! Grin
mummy yes please I think it's showing as 30 on the stats at the moment so best update it as I enter a new decade eek! Shock
juney yay cycle buddy!! How are you getting on??

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 14:46

And you mummy this bus has been so full of BFPs I feel very positive. Heir etc have paved the way...!!! Grin

Woolly84 · 18/03/2015 14:47

sparkly I'm a planner too and it's hard coming to terms with the fact that I can't control when this will happen!

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 14:50

I know Woolly but it will happen (my dh always says "when it's meant to" at which point I usually have to stop myself from throwing the remote control in his face...!!!! ) Smile

Woolly84 · 18/03/2015 14:53

Haha I know what you mean sparkly, it's in that really calm tone as well which makes you think "don't you care?!" You know, the usual irrational behaviour when one is TTCing Wink

Mumof1sofar · 18/03/2015 14:59

Happy birthday woolly!

Good luck to all trying for a Xmas baby. If I was trying this cycle & had children around Xmas I think I'd go for Xmas themed names like Holly or Gabriel Smile

Sparkly123 · 18/03/2015 15:03

Awww good names mumof1 !!! (Makes mental note...!)

I get my HSG on Monday so that's only a few days before we start trying this cycle so I'm hoping that it will help things along.. ! Star

Oysterbabe · 18/03/2015 15:05

I told dp of we had a baby on Christmas day I'd call it Jesus, irrespective of gender.

He has a spreadsheet of potential baby names and whenever I suggest one to add he says no.
It's going to be a big debate that I hope more than anything we have to have.

mummyofonesofar · 18/03/2015 15:06

Sparkly only on cycle 2 and that attitude is getting on my nerves! Got a text this morning to say "Don't test early this month. And no crying over not coming on when you should have" after last month crying because I was on CD36 of a usual 27 day cycle with BFNs and no AF. They don't get it! If he listened to my biology lessons then he would know that it is not possible to have a 18 day LP (thought it seems that is what I had!)

Mumof1sofar · 18/03/2015 15:11

Oyster I've never heard of another Jesus! If you had twin girls you could call them Holly & Ivy GrinGrinGrin Lol!
