mrsb sorry about the family stress! It's never easy. And must be doubly frustrating being so far away yet being pulled back in all the time.. Flowers

Sparkly123 · 17/03/2015 12:50

mumof1 step away from the tests lovely!! Too early!!! Smile

kissinggiraffe · 17/03/2015 12:57

bean I will NEVER use an ic test. I've seen far too many ladies here have there hopes raised with a false + . I haven't read far enough to see if yours is a real + so fx.

knit so pleased you got another lovely line.

sparkly glad you're feeling perkier. What is it with the black gunk though??

babs I have a good feeling about you this month Smile

lucie good luck to you. Very exciting times ahead. Please keep us updated.

juney I hope your guys are busy doing their thing in there.

I ordered a thermometer yesterday so will give temping a go when it arrives. Not sure if it will really work for me as I have the worst sleep habits/patterns imaginable. But I feel left out when you all have pretty charts to show! I want a chart too Grin

Sparkly123 · 17/03/2015 13:01

Hi kissing hope your thermometer arrives soon. It's def a help to pinpoint OV I think..! Ha ha yes the gunk. No clue. And no interest from Gynae.. So.. Bury my head in the sand about it I think!

mummyofonesofar · 17/03/2015 13:04

MrsB Family issues are hard, especially when you’re miles away. I only live 300 miles from mine but was still dragged into a family pre-wedding argument which ended up with me in tears being blamed for something I was asked to help resolve and concluding to never be dragged into a family row again! I feel your pain.

Purdey haha to you filling Kissing in! Prob good to mention that Heir, Coffee & Knit also got their BFPs! - Or did kissing already know that? Good luck with your temping kissing - it is nice to have a pretty chart – even if them temps are messed up!

Autumn do you chart? Maybe you could test today if your symptoms are believable?

Mumof1sofar · 17/03/2015 13:06

Thanks ladies! I have hidden the tests now (although I obviously know where lol) & will try not to poas again until mon... 'Twas a moment of madness!

Can't remember who asked but superdrug tests are usually pretty reliable & sensitive imo. Good luck to all those on 2ww with me!

Autumn2014 · 17/03/2015 13:28

No I don't chart. I've just been counting my cycle days and looking out for ewcm. I'm not even sure if I did enough in my fertile window this month! Last month I did 4 early tests and ended up with af a day late so I resolved not to test early this month. I've loads of saliva and keep having to swallow. It's a bit like the metallic taste I've had when I pregnant but I didnt get that until I was 7 weeks so not sure if this is psychosomatic. Also got a low dull ache but that could just be af getting ready.

spinningirl10 · 17/03/2015 14:28

Autumn,fx for youSmile

Juney, yay for sperm in place, got everything crossed for you this cycle.

Sparkly, Yep Christmas baby it isSmile told dp that it was that time of the month, he thought I wanted his sperm! I told him he can have a little restSmile

Purdey, I hope being very wet is a good sign for you.

cymonsarah · 17/03/2015 14:36

I am sooo preggers! mouth filling with saliva and yawning all day!!!!

Kidding myself , CD 24 6/7dpo only used OPKs and they confuse the hell outa me.

fxfxfxfx Wink

Woolly84 · 17/03/2015 14:37

juney it's probably just a combination of those various fluids then so sit back, relax and let the magic happen! Grin
Autumn good luck!
I've had a bit of unusual spotting today, I must only be about 2dpo (peak smiley was on Saturday morning and I don't temp so can't confirm when ovulation was). I suppose it might be ovulation bleeding but never had it before! Anyone else experienced this?!

KnitFastDieWarm · 17/03/2015 15:16

Hello all, thank you so much for all your congratulations the other day

Flowers for all af and bfns - it sucks

I am frantically poas evey day as I'm convinced something will go wrong. I feel sick and my boobs feel like itchy, massive rocks, which is probably a good thing...

heir and coffee and other fellow bfp-ers, how are you feeling today? I don't really want to let myself believe I'm pregnant yet, it feels like tempting fate

KnitFastDieWarm · 17/03/2015 15:17

Purds I've not quite been at the Special Brew Grin but I did have some wine on Thursday, then got bfp on saturday [guilt-ridden emoticon]

Mumof1sofar · 17/03/2015 15:29

Has anyone heard that a bfp will slow up quickest on an opk- if you poa ovulation stick (obviously during the 2ww after you have ovulated) & it comes up with a +ve you are actually pregnant. Has anyone tried it? Ha I have itchy fingers since it is too early to poa proper pg test!!BlushBlushBlush

Mumof1sofar · 17/03/2015 15:31

*show not slow!

CoffeeTwo · 17/03/2015 15:34

Hi Knit. I'm feeling very normal apart from sore boobs. AF was due today so I'll feel better once I get past this point. Got a clear blue digital saying 1-2 weeks that made it seem more real. How are you getting on?

mummyofonesofar · 17/03/2015 15:36

Autumn I would try to hold out as long as you can – easier said than done – I know! Fx for you

Sorry Woolly I can’t help with the spotting, I hope someone is along soon to help!

Knit Enjoy it you lovely thing! I understand you are cautious though. When are you going in to see the GP?

Mumof1 I have heard it does happen but I wouldn’t risk the excitement of a bfp on an opk test that turns out to be a false positive. Try to hold out a while longer!

KnitFastDieWarm · 17/03/2015 15:42

Hi coffee I'm good, a bit overwhelmed, I am only on CD 26 (and last cycle was 29 days) so I think I will feel more secure once I hit the 30 day mark!
DH is a nervous wreck, bless him! Smile he is CONVINCED something will go wrong and refused to even believe I was pregnant until I'd poas on about £30 worth of tests.

mummy I am off to the docs next tuesday - what do they do at your first appointment? Do they test you again or just take your word for it?

gennibugs · 17/03/2015 15:47

spinning hello yes I am lurking! Sorry AF got you, fx for a lovely christmas baby for you - it surely is your turn. Hope everything else is good with you.

lucie if you are around - I am so excited for you and keeping my fx. I shall be lurking to read your updates.

dojo123 · 17/03/2015 15:55

Good afternoon ladies.

I have been absent the last few days as I was on a long weekend with the DH back in our homeland and not having the opportunity to nip on here without the parents or in-laws asking questions.

Congrats to the recent BFPs (Heir, Knit and Coffee)
Sorry for any AFs over the last few days Flowers (Spinning, Night)

Juney hope your swimmers have worked their magic and you have a fertilised egg implanting and a BFP around the corner.

Sparkly hope you're feeling better hun. Don't like the sound of those black clots though. I have a couple of ICs but after you're comment about them being unreliable or giveing false hope with false positives, I'm tempted not to bother with them and just pick up some CBs when I'm ready.

Purdey Glad to hear Nancy is feeling better. Hope yesterday went as well as it possibly could under the circumstances. Where are you in your cycle now?

CD13 so in the midst of our DTDathalon. Lots of cm for the last 3 days. We managed to DTD on Friday and then again yesterday evening after our weekend away. Planning on DTD tonight, wed, thurs and fri evening and then again Saturday morning for luck.

Wotsit and Eskimo how are you getting on? Hope everyone else is well.

Mumof1sofar · 17/03/2015 16:04

Thanks mummy, good advice.

Knit, they just refer you to a midwife. They don't do another test (or they didn't in my area) & they tell you your edd - although I bet you've already worked that out! Smile

lucieloos · 17/03/2015 16:22

Thank you Genni I'm really hoping it works!!

Please keep us updated with your progress too. Have been thinking of you and wondering how you are doing x

spinningirl10 · 17/03/2015 16:34

Genni, there you areSmile How are you, how far along are you now? Are you having an early scan?

spinningirl10 · 17/03/2015 16:38

Mumof1, opks are not a reliable test for pregnancy, you're going to have to be patient Smile

Dojo, hope you enjoyed your weekend away

pulpi · 17/03/2015 16:43

Congrats to all the ladies with BFPs!

spinningirl10 · 17/03/2015 16:46

No letter from consultant yet, if I don't get anything tomorrow I'll chase them upSmile

Just packed my ds up ready for his camping trip with school, he's away for 2 nights from tomorrow. He's really excited and I'm really nervous! He's never been away before with anyone but family. Hope he's ok, he'll probably have a fab time whilst I'm missing him and worrying!
