Ovulation sticks

I have bought some ovulation sticks from ebay and started to use them for the first time today. I'm just a bit confused as I was expecting a strong coloured line for the control line and a very faint line for the test line, it just doesn't seem to be very clear, the test line was fainter but not massively different from the other line...I'm just a bit worried as if it this unclear I might read it wrong and miss the right time. Any advice????

I bought some from ebay this week too and on the packaging it has a drawing to demonstrate what is considered positive and what's not. It seems to be saying that if the test line is even slightly fainter than the control line it's a negative. To be a positive it must be as dark or darker.
Hope that helps.

Can I ask a question. Am using Boots OPK for the first time. Two tests down, I am getting no line at all in one of the boxes - not even faint. Other box has a line. Does this mean I have no LH at all - and am not ovulating, or that I've messed up the test in some way?
Advice grateefully received.
