Coming off the pill - how long did you wait?

Hi Everyone, its my first thread on here and am new to all of this.
We've made to the decision to start ttc, planning to start once Christmas and New year were out of the way (so I could definitely have a few vinos!).
I stopped taking the pill at the beginning of Nov, had a withdrawal bleed a few days later. But AF hasn't visited since! I know it can take a few months, especially after being on it for so long, but I can't say that I'm not disappointed to not be able to start at it now that we're in the New Year.
You have all these expectations of it being straight forward, but now I'm worried about what the journey may hold for us, despite it being so early on - I am a worrier and chronic googler!

What are your experiences of coming off the pill, getting your cycle back and then trying?

AF has arrived!!! Thought I was a bit grumpy yesterday....

still no AF for me! the boobs are just getting worse and I feel sick and bloated keep getting BFN, but of course I do! just want the witch to return

Boo. That's annoying... I think it can take a while for your body to adjust though xx

Ahh thank you. I had no other AF symptoms other than being grumpy so it was a bit of a surprise! Hopefully AF will surprise you soon. It is hard to be patient once you have decided you want to TTC. Fingers crossed for you x

I came off the pill 9 months ago and still haven't settled into a good cycle!

I've been referred for some ultrasound tests to check for Pcos as I am having incredibly light periods that drag on for 2 weeks and don't think I am ovulating.

I am very impatient but the last 9 months has gone quite quickly. Just hoping it happens soon.
