Advice needed !! Possible consumption (unaware) of blue mouldy bread in 2ww ??

Help - DH just came home and informed me that the sandwiches he made this morning for lunch were blue mouldy! (and it didn't cross his mind to phone and tell me!) I made toast this morning half in the dark and eat it! I'm in the middle of my 2ww - what if I was pregnant ? What damage would that do ?

I would have thought none whatsoever, and don't worry about it.

You would know if you had eaten mouldy bread. Mould tastes utterly vilely repugnant gah! ptooey! Even toasted.

Can you tell I speak from experience ?

There was still a bit of crust lying on a plate in kitchen and I have inspected it and can't see any mould on it but the loaf in the bread tin is blue!! It was one of those 7 day fresh ones too with another four days to go !! I'm mad. I think I would have noticed the taste (I hope). Thanks for your words of comfort.

Pretty candles - would be interested in hearing how you know ?

I always check the bread if I have any doubts, but dh rarely does, so, as it takes me less time to prepare my sandwich than it does him to prepare his, I'm usually the one getting the first taste of blue bread. Ptooey!

You'd KNOW if you ate mouldy bread. It tastes as though the food has been smeared in dirt! In my experience
And even if there was a little bit of mould on the crust it wouldn't hurt you or potential bub. You'd have to chow down on an awful lot of mould to get poorly.

Absolutely no harm whatsoever, even if you ate an entire loaf of mouldy bread. And you would almost certainly know if you had eaten any that was mouldy.

Your body will have dealt with any nasties by the time the bread reaches any bean that may be growing, so don't worry too much!
