Congrats MaG

Blimeygirl · 26/12/2014 12:49

Ooo congrats MaG! Well still in limbo land over here! No AF and no BFPs! Dh banned me from buying more expensive FRER as it's like peeing on a fiver every few days! So off to amazon for some cheapies today I think! Officially 5 days late which never happens so hopefully I'll be one of those who just don't get a BFP till a week late or something!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Boobear1983 · 26/12/2014 13:01

Congrats Ma!! Flowers

Cd 47 now, 17 days late. Tiny amount of spotting last night and very sore boobs so think AF will be here today.

Blimeygirl · 26/12/2014 13:16

Boobear have you been that late before? Just asking to gain some others in same situation!

Boobear1983 · 26/12/2014 13:33

Blimey, never been a day late before. I did have the implant out in august but after 6 weeks periods returned to normal straight away.

DastardlyDachshund · 26/12/2014 14:56

Congratulations MaGratgarlik1983 Flowers Xmas Grin.

FX af stays away for you Mumwannabe82.

spinningirl10 fx for you too. I haven't had much in the way of symptoms either really. So far I have:

Tiredness (yesterday and today)
Nausea (around twice a day and only mild so far)
Sore boobs (not pre af sore but it is a constant soreness iyswim)
Cramping (a bit like af cramps but no af to go with it)
Odd pinching/pulling sensation in abdomen at 11dpo
Increased watery/creamy cm for the last 3 days.

Reading that back though it sounds like quite a few 'symptoms'. I guess it just doesn't seem like many because they are all quite mild and not the usual - head in the loo, peeing constantly, boobs agony to touch kind of symptoms that we associate with being pg.

FX MaMaPo, Blimeygirl and Maths88.

Sorry it seems af is imminent Boobear1983 but glad you will be out of limbo. Hopefully just one of those odd freaky cycles.

Someone upthread asked if I had a dastardly dog with fertility powers like frolic dog and I said that whilst I do have a dastardly dog he is pretty ambivalent. Well went to pils yesterday and their cat was completely uninterested in me but my dog keeps following me around this afternoon. Very odd behaviour from him. Hoping he is sensing something Wink.

Purplelilly · 26/12/2014 15:53

Congratulations MaGratgarlik!!! :D

DizzyNorthernBird · 26/12/2014 17:09

Hey all, hope everyone is having a lovely Boxing Day.

Congratulations to maGrat!

So I have a question, according to ovia AF is now due on 31st & I can do a test in 2 days time. I reckon I'm around 11 or 12 dpo. Have had nothing out of the ordinary in the way of symptoms....now got tender boobs, which I sometimes do get before AF and had the odd stabbing uterus pain which isn't unusual. So do I test in 2 days or not bother? Not sure I want to spend money unless I'm sure of a bfp....got a feeling AF might be late this month though just to wind me up! What do you reckon?

Frolicacid · 26/12/2014 18:10

Congratulations magrat Flowers, very chuffed for you.

dastardly frolicdog is super possessive since my BFP! She usually loves guests but won't move from my side. Fx this is good news for you. Have you done any more tests?

spinningirl10 · 26/12/2014 18:17

Oooh MaGrat I'm so happy for youSmile
Congratulations Grin wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Maths88 · 26/12/2014 18:55

So Mum announces that she's started buying "just a couple of bits" ready for when we have a baby. And she wrapped me up a gift of a baby comforter with a little cuddly toy - she claimed that it wasn't for a baby but was because she knew I like the animal that it featured on it!

Seriously aibu or do other people find this odd? She doesn't even know we are trying because I don't want her to get carried away and its a recent thing. We haven't even been very close most of my life and really only mended our rift when I got married three and a half years ago! I lived with my grandparents since I was 11!

Sorry for the rant but really struggling to understand such behaviour?!

MaMaPo · 26/12/2014 19:32

Maths, I'd find that off-putting and presumptuous tbh. I got a bit freaked out when my mum gave me some baby clothes and I was 12 weeks pregnant!

DastardlyDachshund · 26/12/2014 22:36

Frolicacid I did an IC this morning but the line is still faint. Trying to reassure myself that my test lines were faint when I first found out about my other two pregnancies (and I tested on 14dpo in the last one and probably 15dpo in the first).

TerrysNo3 · 26/12/2014 22:58

just delurking to say Spinning I'm still chart stalking you and your temps look awesome!! fx for you. Grin

Frolicacid · 26/12/2014 23:30

My ic lines were faint for ages dastardly. Feeling positive for you. I am obsessed with testing still! I have hardly been sick today so I hot worried. Just did an ic with a wee that had been held less than an hour and had a line come up straight away. I have loads left to keep me entertained in coming weeks!

As a complete aside, is you dog a dachshund by any chance? Frolicdog is a working cocker. We lost her sister earlier this year and I'm desperate to get her a mini dachshund as a little friend.

laurasdream · 27/12/2014 00:23

Hi ladies.. I started spotting today 11 dpo, so I reckon AF is on her way, despite my temp being 36.85oC this morning...I guess I will test in the morning to satisfy my need to POAS. BAH to the witch!

Congrads to those you got a magical BFP! x
Good luck to all those in the 2ww!
Sorry that Af arrived for so many x

Purplelilly · 27/12/2014 00:57

Maths that does seem really inappropriate. Perhaps she is desperate to find out if you are ttc and thought it might prompt conversation?

Still, I'd not be happy about it really.

Mumwannabe82 · 27/12/2014 06:37

Morning ladies,
Maths I would find that really weird too if my mum did that and she does know we are TTC!!
Laura, I really hope the spotting doesn't turn into AF for you, its a good high temp so fx xx
Well my spotting continued but only brown which isn't normal for my pre Af! Due on today, temp still higher than normal for pre AF temps but got another BFN this morning too so being in limbo has officially started!!! I'm actually wanting AF to turn up if she has to just so I know, especially with this being a weird month!!!

spinningirl10 · 27/12/2014 07:31

MorningGrin

Mum, fx af stays away. What's your temp like this morning?

Frolic, my phone not only recognises your name but frolicdogs as wellGrin

Math, strange behaviour from your mum. I I don't know what to suggest. Maybe have a word with her.

Terry, good to see you. Hope you've had a lovely Christmas. How are you?

I couldn't take my temp this morning. Dp came in from work at 4am and disturbed me and then he was coughing for ages, when he finally went to sleep he was snoring so I couldn't get back to sleep. I've got a full day at work today and I'm so tired Hmm.and af symptoms are here today so I think I'm out, bah humbug!

Mumwannabe82 · 27/12/2014 08:32

Hi spinning, temp is slightly higher this morning (0.2 above the coverline) and its normally dropped drastically by now so the glimmer of hope is there lol
I'm so hoping your AF symptoms come to nothing too, got all my fingers and toes crossed for you XXX

Mumwannabe82 · 27/12/2014 08:34

Dastardly, I hope everything is still OK and your line starts to get darker soon to put your mind at rest XXX

ChandlersFarang · 27/12/2014 08:38

Hello you lovely lot, and a very Merry Christmas!! I'll read back and see how you're all doing, especially those of you that remember me... but for now I'm just bringing a story of hope to anyone struggling!! After a very shit year of finding out I have PCOS, 6 months of failed medical interventions and giving up trying until we move home to the UK halfway thru 2015 (to get IVF on the NHS), I have just this morning got my BFP!!!! I'm also quite hung over so the two states are really jarring, ha ha!!! I randomly ovulated for the first time since July on 16 Dec (I wasn't charting, I just noticed some EWCM!), and it seems we caught it... I tested because my boobs woke me up hurting when I lay on my front this morning - I am 11DPO! Check this little photo out... Today I am pregnant!!! ShockGrin

Anyway sorry to barge in on your chat, but if this helps anyone to keep their chins up then it's all worth it.

Deck the halls, wrap the presents, buy the food - Christmas is coming and the December bus is hitting the road with treats galore! (Thread 3)
DastardlyDachshund · 27/12/2014 08:40

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh Chandlers!!! Massive congratulations to you (i was thegrand).

ChandlersFarang · 27/12/2014 08:46

Hey grand!!!! Thank you so much!! Am in total shock and have no idea what to do now. Lol.

DastardlyDachshund · 27/12/2014 08:48

Sorry was reading back and couldn't wait for that little outburst.

Frolicacid I do have a mini dachshund yes. He is quite old now for a dog and I would recommend getting a shorthair (mine is longhair) but they do make for quite good dogs. My dc like to pick him up and treat him like a baby and he tolerates it with remarkable patience.

I hope af stays away for you laurasdream and Mumwannabe82.

spinningirl10 I hate it when I can't take my temp for some reason. Especially around ov/af time.

Maths88 Very odd behaviour from your mum. I have nothing to suggeest though unfortunately other than maybe having it out with her that she overstepped a boundary?
