Rosebud Victoria and nutella I'm
Also due 19th Dec... The TWW is doing my head in already!! Ha. Symptom spotting galore! How are you all doing?

So sorry to hear that Nordic sending positive thoughts to you ?? and hope you have a restful break to rejuvenate

Dizzy I would keep checking with OPKs same happens to me at times I get lines throughout cycle.

toothachereturns · 11/12/2014 21:24

Tessie nothing you could've done. About 1 in 4 ends like that. ... it's only coz we're ttc and testing early that we even know. That's one of the downfalls of these early tests.
However, like someone else said, you're not out until AF arrives in full flow! Smile

Frolicacid · 11/12/2014 21:35

quietly I took it last cycle and bought ov forward by 5 days and shortened my cycle from 33 to 28 days. I think I took it days 4-8. But I had a really bad migraine so didn't take the last dose.
This cycle I have taken a lower dose for days 3-8. No migraines. But my ovulation went back to being later at day 16, but not as late as it has been on occasion.
My aim was to strengthen egg quality) I'm almost 35, shorten my cycle and get pregnant!
This cycle feels really different to the last one. I have had an extraordinary amount of chin spots, which is usually linked to ovulation for me. I'm also having lots of cramping and boob twinges, but last cycle I had a dusting lack of any possible pregnancy or pre AF symptoms.
I'm not sure what it all means tbh! I'm just panicking about getting older and want to feel like I'm doing something. Not sure if I'll go again with it.

Sorry you are going through this nordic Flowers

I'm trying my hardest not to symptom spot and obsess about possible implantation dip! and failing miserably

Nordicmom · 11/12/2014 21:41

Thanks for the kind words to all . I've been through this so many times with cp and mc that I'm just numb really don't even get sad anymore just angry . I don't expect anything else . If this ever works without a surrogate even with ivf I'd be absolutely amazed ... Good luck to the rest of you .

toothachereturns · 11/12/2014 21:53

Nordic Sad Sad Sad

victoria401 · 11/12/2014 22:01

Sorry Nordic :-(

Caved in and had a drink tonight but as soon as I'd sipped the last dregs I got, and still have, a low central cramping. It doesn't feel bowel-y but really uterus-y. Don't understand :-(

Treaclepie19 · 11/12/2014 22:28

Interesting Victoria... could be a good sign :)

I've got a really sharp pain in my left boob that I can only link to pregnancy feeling but I've had aches and pains there most cycles so probably nothing :(

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/12/2014 22:45

Thanks blueberry & sparkly I will keep trying! Just panicked for a moment, I guess as I use them more I'll get used to what to expect. As it happens I checked a while later after posting and a very faint line had appeared, not sure whether it was anything to do with having a drink before testing so my sample was diluted?

Rosebud it's awful isn't it, thinking you've missed the boat? My cycles are a week longer so its annoying thinking you've missed it as there's ages to wait until next time! Fingers crossed for your test on 19th though and to everyone else due to poas soon!

Sparkly123 · 12/12/2014 00:14

Victoria sounds interesting. I havd had cramping every day now and can't recall if this is normal post ovulation.. (Obviously secretly hoping not!!) also had lot of cm and headaches. But again.. Who knows! Probably not as only 6dpo now I think, and I imagine I wouldn't have any symptoms so soon.. Plus, the most common - painful breasts- I've had none at all!! Everyone seems to report that as first symptom! But suppose everyone is different. Here's hoping! Same for you and everyone else in TWW

So sorry Nordic, can't imagine how hard that must be. Sending Flowers to you...

Dizzy very possible re the diluted sample, I always do mine after about three hours no toilet trips! Times I have done in between have always showed weird results.

Treacle- I'm gonna say it's a sign! Positive thinking and all that... Wink

Shnickyshnackers · 12/12/2014 00:41

AF got me. I was a bit un-hinged yesterday and still tested with three tests even though AF had arrived, I think I had a mind-blip and didn't want to believe what I could see with my own eyes. I can chuckle about it now - but there you go, I will jump on Jan bus soon.

I do manage to laugh about most things in life, esp when I tell my best friend about stuff, i find it therapeutic. In case anyone needs a chuckle, yesterday I pee'd into a cleaned-out philadelphia pot :) while my 2 dd's were asking me what I was doing, I can never seem to open the frer packets either so i was getting very annoyed with it all.

I went to the cinema last night and watched b ad b osses 2, and it really made me laugh, it was just what I needed.

I shall be trying to figure out likely dtd dates for the upcoming cycle. I put them on our joint phone calendars this past month!! It makes me chuckle. But it seems one way of making sure dh knows when we gotta do it. I will def be drinking this month though and trying for that chilled out state of mind that a few ladies have talked about, I have a feeling that surely there will be lots of post chrimbo bfp's!!

Shnickyshnackers · 12/12/2014 00:43

Nordic sorry to read your news, and Victoria I hope that you wont need to do the injections, but if you do there should be lots of help online for you (I hope) as your doctor didn't seem like they had too much bed-side manor, i think sometimes doctors can forget that we have feelings??!!

Maths88 · 12/12/2014 05:35

Still neg on opk this morning. I'm on cd17 and wondering whether I missed it or I'm going to have a long cycle - we shall see.

Quick question - my mum has booked me a pamper package for while dh and I are home visiting at Xmas - we live abroad - and it includes a facial and a hot stone massage. I'll be in the tww by then - assuming cycle not too crazy - are these things safe at this time. I could do with the relaxing and know that I'm very unlikely to fall first cycle but I don't want to do anything to jeopardize anything.

Victoria are they expecting you to do your injections by yourself even though they gave you so little help? (I've read this whole thread but only just started posting)

toothachereturns · 12/12/2014 06:45

Math - should be safe enough but you could mention to them that you're ttc. sounds like a fab treat! x Smile

Well I got my BFP on the cbdigi this morning (1-2weeks) so I'm going to shimmy over the the Aug 15 thread since my hormone levels seem to be much stronger than when it ended in early mc or cp. This might be my sticky bean. Smile I will keep track of the bus tho! Good luck ladies. x

MsAR · 12/12/2014 06:47

It's so deflating, knowing that AF is coming. 8dpo and I have two hard, hormonal spots on my chin. Cramping has also started. Sorry to hear about those of you who are also feeling bad. Must stay positive.

Treaclepie19 · 12/12/2014 07:01

Temp went down this morning :/ 8dpo. Normally have a 9 day lp.
It was freezing this morning though...

toohardtothinkofaname · 12/12/2014 07:13

My temp was horrendously low this morning because of how cold it is!

I usually wake up around 5am to check it but going to move it to 7am during winter! Bloody COLD

Treaclepie19 · 12/12/2014 07:18

Hope it's just that... or implantation... :p

Bovnydazzler · 12/12/2014 07:19

It's seemed like a tough couple of days all round on this thread, sorry to all those who have been greeted by AF or have symptom watching stress.

I think it's the symptom watching which makes it so difficult for us, compared to partners, that you have to watch for ovulation signs, then your on constant symptom watch, so it's hard not to think (obsess) about it.

SueBridehead · 12/12/2014 07:42

Hi guys,
AF very rudely and painfully arrived this morning so I'm out. Good luck to you all and see some of you on the Jan bus! x

gennibugs · 12/12/2014 08:13

Morning

7dpo and have all my usual pre AF symptoms so ill be out next week no doubt. ugh. I am so fed up of ttc now, I really am

sorry to all those AF got and those who think she's en route.

treacle and victoria hopefully those are good symptoms.

I'm not temping this month properly but reckon colder weather will def have an effect on temps!

Quietlyhopeful81 · 12/12/2014 08:15

12dpo here and very resolutely flushed fmu away. If no af by tomorrow then I'll test but headaches and cramps continue despite no temp drop this morning. Think I'll be on the January bus by the end of the day. Thinking of the smelly cheese and mulled wine takes a teeny tiny little bit of the sting away. Every cloud...

hc899 · 12/12/2014 08:47

Definitely believing now! Thank you so much to all of your support (and patience!). This has been the longest week of my life, I am feeling so emotional right now! So here are my stats: age 31, ttc #1, cycle 2. Cycles normally 31-32 days. Came off yasmin pill at the end of May and fortunately had regular cycles every month since. Actively ttc since beginning of Oct.

We DTD on cd 7, 9, 12, 15, 17 and 20. I don't tend to generally be a hormonal person when it comes to AF - the only thing I tend to get is cramps a day or to before, but the thing that was different with this cycle was that I had cramps on 5 and 6 dpo (so a week and a half before AF due) which I've never had before. Did first frer on 10 dpo. Been feeling mildly sick every day since then. In terms of vitamins I've just been taking folic acid every day.

Ding dong merrily on BFP!! Step into Xmas with the BFP-laden December bus full of mince pies, santa hats, and festive treats (Thread 2)
Quietlyhopeful81 · 12/12/2014 09:02

Awesome HC899!! Major congrats Smile

Meant to say earlier, thanks for the soy info Frolic

JessieMcJessie · 12/12/2014 09:02

Huge congrats hc899 I'm on Cycle 2 as well but I am feeling a bit pessimistic, though for no real reason I can think of. Only 5 dpo so no way of telling and no signs good or bad.

I have a question - you said We DTD on cd 7, 9, 12, 15, 17 and 20.. Do you know what day you ovulated?

toothachereturns · 12/12/2014 09:04

Good stuff Hc. Smile

My stats are age 36 ttc#3 (dcs 13 and 10) cycle 6 (2 months off after early mc). dtd CD 11, 12, 14, 16, 17. ov'd CD 14.... bfp 8 dpo! Was feeling very crampy (too crampy too early for af).... now feeling sick and bloated!
So sorry it hasn't been the month for some of you lovely ladies xxx
