Definitely a line!

Ring the clinic ours were fantastic. DD1 was 7 years, 5 cycles of treatment in the making - DD2 was a quick shag on the new bed 2 weeks after a failed cycle - The clinic were amazing and scanned me at 7 and 9 weeks to be sure all was progressing well, then I had my normal 12 week scan and transferred to mw care.

Pikkewyn · 24/11/2014 14:16

Our clinic also very kindly did a blood test to confirm and then did another 2 days later to confirm levels were rising properly. If helped calm me until they could scan.

allchatnicknamesgone · 24/11/2014 14:19

pikkewyn. My dd1 is 6.5yrs.
I will call clinic, but won't hold out much hope as it's in nhs hospital….x

Ours was NHS too - our consultant's secretary was amazing.

Cantbelieveimdoingthisagain · 24/11/2014 14:26

haha, i bet he wont be concentrating in that presentation.

Still beaming for you! what a christmas pressie x

TooSpotty · 24/11/2014 14:27

Congratulations! That's a definite line.

The NHS may be much nicer to you than you expect. Some trusts will do reassurance scans for you if you've had problems in the past. Others will let you self-refer to an EPU for a scan if you have any concerns at all. You can also get private scans for not a huge amount of money.

allchatnicknamesgone · 24/11/2014 14:30

Just called them. very abruptly told that unless because they deem it as natural conception, I've just got to go to the doctors. I asked if there was even chance of blood test and she just said that doctor would do one if they thought it necessary. She was pretty curt with me, but did manage to say congratulations at the end…. Oh well. Worth a try. I'll just have to grin and bear the next 12 weeks to get the first scan….x

Fantastic! Congratulations on your pregnancy! I've been through the failed fertility treatment mill too. So happy for you.

congratulations! Go buy one of the digital tests, none of this faint line nonesence, it'll say pregnant or not pregnant. Set your mind at rest.

allchatnicknamesgone · 24/11/2014 15:23

Bought a digi for tomorrow morning. It's an obvious line though, but still feel like I should test again.
May have an early scan although nothing in my history to cause worry. It's been the getting pregnant that's been the nightmare, so hopefully I will be ok (almost don't want to write it). Tummy and back cramping like mad and feel like AF about to show. I think that is common though.

loopy too scared at the moment to join pregnancy bus. I'll see how I go in the next few weeks. On tenter hooks, it's so early I'm scared to jinx it. Hoping to relax in next week or so! X
