I have a plan of action now. I think I have managed to get dh to agree to go for acupuncture. My acupuncturist thinks it may help him with the low motility. She said that acupuncture gets energy and things moving so could be good for him. He will go every week for the first month and every other week after that. He was due to have another semen analysis next week but I'm thinking we could put that off until jan. That would give us 3 months of acupuncture and taking all the recommended vitamins. We then get him retested and hopefully the motility has increased. I think keep trying then for another 3 cycles or so and if still nothing then crack on with the ivf around March. It feels good to have a plan. Just so hoping it will happen naturally before then.

nutelladipper · 26/10/2014 13:00

Thanks sunbathing I can't today but I might walk down to the chemist during work tomorrow as I think they stock them.

How many dpo does implantation tend to happen? Do you know?

Ok. Cool. That makes me feel slightly better so it could be cd16 before I know! Worst case. Thank you.

Jcandy · 26/10/2014 13:17

Thanks for sharing your mum experiences english and blueberry Smile

Jcandy · 26/10/2014 13:24

Ah Nutella that sounds very like me. I'm on 13dpo now. Though think my 'symptoms' may be disappearing Sad

nutelladipper · 26/10/2014 13:29

I feel like I'm imagining my symptoms. Good luck jcandy

I had a chemical pregnany before I got pregnant with dd and I'm paranoid it's going to happen again so I always said I'd not test early again but typically I am back doing the same as all other pregnancies.

Mumwannabe82 · 26/10/2014 13:36

Many congratulations fatty, that's brilliant news!!!!! Xx

spinningirl10 · 26/10/2014 13:51

Fatty, Congratulations Grin so lovely to see another bfp on this bus.

Lucie, that sounds like a good plan, I've heard Accupuncture can also help men with ttc.

lucieloos · 26/10/2014 14:11

Thanks sunbathing and spinning, yes I'm feeling quite positive about it. Just spoken to dh about it again and he has definitely agreed so I have emailed the man to book up the first 4 sessions. I think at least we feel as though we are trying everything that we can and if by next year still nothing has happened for us then we can accept there is not much more we could have done and will try the assisted method.

Illiria · 26/10/2014 16:07

lucieloos - yay for plans.

Well more spotting today - mostly brown cm but one spot of red. This has now happened two mornings in a row. I did have a 23 day cycle in July so am thinking I might be out.

TheGrandHighWitch · 26/10/2014 16:14

Sorry you're in limbo nutelladipper and Illiria. Fx for some good news soon.

Yay for the plan of action lucieloos. Despite my husband suggesting that our previous failures could be down to him, he wasn't keen to go to the dr's to make sure. Fortunately he had to go for another issue so I managed to raise it at the same time and he is now booked in for a semen analysis. Maybe our respective plans will be enough to bring on sod's law Grin.

WiIdfire · 26/10/2014 16:57

Erm... Can I sneak back in? I thought I was out as I started spotting on Wed after the POAS party, but though it carried on for 3 days its has stopped again. Confused? Just a bit. Cycle is 21-27 days, not predictable, but am day 27 today. Don't temp or anything so can't be more sure than that. If nothing by tomorrow will POA(nother)S. Feel a bit cheeky getting back on the bus after I flounced off to November already!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 26/10/2014 17:43

Lucie that's very forward thinking of your dh. So many men would think it mumbo jumbo and refuse. I think women tend to think more holistically, so good on your dh. Excellent plan.

lucieloos · 26/10/2014 18:09

Ahh thanks MrsE, I wasn't sure if he would go for it to be honest but he is pretty good and said if I think it may help then he is willing to give it a go. There is some research out there that suggests it may help motility so worth a try. DH does also suffer with quite bad backs so I did also suggest that perhaps he could ask about that at the same time which may have helped things as well Wink

whitwoochantelle · 26/10/2014 18:47

Congrats fatty that's amazing news! I've nothing to report u brought some tests online for Wednesday no symptoms other than the feeling af on way. And the usual painfully tattys get my ovu results tommrow fingers crossed x

Dozygirl · 26/10/2014 21:13

Lucie that all sounds rally positive and I really hope u so get ur BFP naturqlly but if not you're even closer towards getting your BFP in other ways. Your dh sounds very supportive. I struggle enough just getting him to take vitamins lol. He's Prob only taken about 5 since I got them lol.

lucieloos · 26/10/2014 21:44

Dozy I used to have that problem with dh and the vitamins. I got him some when we first started ttc and I think he took about 5 at most but since have the tests and seeing the low motility I think he realises something needs to be done and apart from taking supplements there isn't a whole lot else to do.

flowerbombVR · 27/10/2014 07:32

Good morning ladies and congratulations fatty x

Nutella have you got another stick to pee on yet?

Good luck to you all x

flowerbombVR · 27/10/2014 07:34

Good luck also for you and hubby Lucie x that sounds interesting fx it happens thus year for you your oh sounds lovely :)

lucieloos · 27/10/2014 07:35

Morning everyone, Grand has your temp stayed high today? Good luck Nutella!

I'm 8dpo now and my temp has gone back up to 36.77 after it's dip yesterday to 36.62 although that is normal for me so will have to wait and see what happens over next few days. It would normally start to tail off soon though.

flowerbombVR · 27/10/2014 07:35

Oh Whit your back in :)
Here's hoping for another bfp x

lucieloos · 27/10/2014 07:42

Thank you flowerbomb I really hope so Smile

Jcandy · 27/10/2014 08:02

AF has arrived this morning [sad
In a way I'm glad not to be in limbo for long, if I'm not pregnant I'd rather AF just arrive so I can get started on the next cycle. Off to the November bus to start to make a plan of action for this month!

Good luck to those of you who are left to test. Hope I don't see you over there!
