ChandlersFarang · 24/10/2014 18:17

Just popped in to say thank you so much ladies for the lovely messages, I was so touched to read them!! SmileSmile I have spoken to my doc in te UK who was so lovely I shed a tear!!! She has recommended I see an excellent gyno when I pop back at Xmas for top tips on dealing with PCOS whilst not actively trying, and has also said she will refer me immediately on my return to the UK in June, and that i'd be seen within 6-8 weeks by one of three specialist NHS clinics in north London to start IVF, or perhaps IUI if they think that they can do it safely. Was so relieved when I got off the phone that I did a little dance! It doesn't have to be hellish to be practically infertile and rely on the NHS after all. Massive love and luck to those of you struggling a bit, I hope you get your good news somehow soon. Ciao for now!!! Mwah xxxxxxxxxx

flowerbombVR · 24/10/2014 18:21

Wonderful news Chandlers x
Your doc sounds lovely, it's nice to hear you sounding good and positive. Keep it up. It will all work out, just you wait and see xx

Mumwannabe82 · 24/10/2014 18:24

Aww a positive ending for ChandlersFarang, hope everything works out for her FlowersFlowersFlowers

MrsExtraOrdinary · 24/10/2014 18:46

So sorry to see you exit the buses for now, you will be much missed!Sad But delighted to hear about your plan and I've always admired your positive attitude. You will get your BFP I know you will xxx

TheGrandHighWitch · 24/10/2014 19:30

So glad to hear the news is positive for you when you return ChandlersFarang. Best of luck to you on your ttc journey back on uk soil.

Congratulations on your BFP teeniedeenie34.

Sorry my prediction was correct spinningirl10 Sad. I agree though it is somehow less disappointing to see a temp drop rather than the arrival of af in my opinion. I think it's the fact that you know it is coming rather than a sudden unpleasant arrival that helps.

I can't believe how few of us there are left to test. I'm not including those massively overdue for tests as they've not updated us either way (their prerogative but irritating as I am a nosy cow Grin). And also how few BFP's we've had. I am sincerely hoping I can offer up some positive news in a few days (but then again I have hoped that for the last several months which has come to nothing). I am 8dpo afaik and I have been having lots of aches/twinges/sharp pains in the uterus area. I am also massively bloated and trying not to read too much into it since reading teeniedeenie34s stats. I am doing quite well at avoiding poas mania so far but I have no idea how long that will last. It does help that although I have 9 hpts in the house, only one will be sensitive anytime soon and I don't want to waste it.

teeniedeenie34 · 24/10/2014 19:49

Blueberry and Grand the cramps were a massive symptom for me as I'd never felt anything like that previously just AF but it was way too early, then when AF didn't come I managed to holds out for another few days before testing. FX that it's your little beans burrowing Smile

Flower, I too will be trying to get another few weeks along but would love to be part of your thread when you start it Smile

Cariad2014 · 24/10/2014 19:58

Chandlers- lovely to hear from you. Glad your doctor's been so helpful and that you have a great plan in place for your return to the UK in June.

xBlueberry88x · 24/10/2014 20:04

teenie id love to get my hopes up but until blood test is back im not even sure i ovulated. still cramping now and it hurts when i sneeze which i keep doing.

spinningirl10 · 24/10/2014 20:07

Teenie, great stats, thanks. What a fab list of symptoms you've gotGrin

Genni, hope the cramps have eased off now Thanks

Blueberry, I would so love to see your name on that bfp list Grin

Chandler, your doc back here in the UK sounds fab, nice to know she's going to be straight on things for youGrin

spinningirl10 · 24/10/2014 20:13

Grandhigh, thanks, I thought it would arrive but you know how there's always that tiny bit of hope until it actually starts!
Fx this is your monthGrin

flowerbombVR · 24/10/2014 20:15

Positive thoughts, uums + aaahs going out into the universe ......
For Grandhigh and everyone else still to test x
Also Teenie, that we all have sticky beans and can proceed to the Autumn ttc AN thread... We can do it x

flowerbombVR · 24/10/2014 20:22

Blue get that dress on, get out and knock yourself out.
Hopefully 'forgetting' about ttc will have the desired effect and the law of sod,,, well you get the idea xx I do believe that nothing can be passed on to bean at 5dpo x the placenta is not in place / developed at this point ! Jackie B was reassured re this when she got her bfp the day after a big night out x go let your hair down girl xx

Spinning, you better be on the autumn an thread lady and that is an order :) along with all the rest of the gang (prays religiously) xx

spinningirl10 · 24/10/2014 20:26

Haha Flower, thank you, I'll do my bestWink

Blueberry, I agree with Flower! Get the dress on and go out, have a few drinks and have FUNGrin ttc can become all consuming and it's good to let your hair down sometimes Grin

EnglishGirlsReturned · 24/10/2014 20:33

def go out and enjoy a few drinks Blueberry - as spinning said, TTC is all consuming at times! Let your hair down!!
I'm 8dpo and enjoying a nice glass of red as I type!

whitwoochantelle · 24/10/2014 20:40

I'm also swigging on sweet nectar to blueberry do it enjoy yourself! X

xBlueberry88x · 24/10/2014 20:49

thanks ladies

Thepurplegiraffe · 24/10/2014 20:57

5dpo here and just had a beer. Enjoy yourself Blueberry

TheGrandHighWitch · 24/10/2014 21:02

Thanks teeniedeenie34. I forgot to say that I've had these pains/cramps pretty much daily since ovulation occurred (but this is a soy cycle for me so conscious that the 'symptoms' could be worse due to that). I have been peeing like crazy all day which is very odd for me but it does help with the poas impulse as I can't seem to hold it for 4 hours at a time Grin.

Thank you for the fx spinningirl10. I get what you mean about holding out hope despite the evidence to the contrary. I'm guilty of it too despite never experiencing implantation bleeding.

spinningirl10 · 24/10/2014 21:21

I've also had a glass of wine tonightGrin

Grandhigh, I am so excited that you have been peeing lotsGrin

TheGrandHighWitch · 24/10/2014 21:33

Aww thanks spinningirl10, that's sweet of you (edges away from crazy woman excited about my bladder lol). Seriously though, I've been about 8 times in the last 12 hours which is ridiculously frequent for me. I am also knackered but putting that down to the fact I haven't been sleeping well for the last two nights. I keep waking up and tossing and turning during the early hours and I have had vivid/memorable dreams for the last couple of nights too. Could that be a symptom do you think?
