Ok, think I'm going a bit mad. I'm 14 dpo today (I think, maybe 13dpo) and usually have 14-15 day LP. Tested on Wed and bfn. Had quite a few symptoms (hot, so tired (going to bed at 8.45!), more white cm, abdominal pinches, sore bbs etc.) so was quite upset when it was negative. Anyway, I was out last night at a gig and saw my face in the mirror and I looked so tired! Then I felt really really sick and thought I was going to throw up. Cleaned my teeth as normal before bed and my gums bled (I have never in my life had bleeding gums before). This morning, I feel really nauseous and was just a little bit sick but I'm constantly hungry and eating helps me to feel less sick. My coffee tasted horrible though and over the past hour I've got the most horrible mettalic sour taste in my mouth.

Don't know what to think. Is it all in my head?? Argh. Sorry - just needed to rant!

MrsG I swear your symptoms are ALL so good! Well not 'good' but you know what I mean. Bleeding gums is absolutely spot on during PG. I got it really badly and it generally goes away as soon as baby comes out.

I'm now looking at FF to see when the earliest instance of pre-AF spotting I've had is. I had it 2 cycles ago on CD25 (10dpo) and it then continued for a few days before AF arrived. Its CD21 for me today so seems really too early for AF to be making an appearance. God I don't want to get my hopes up!!

I'm confused (again!) cd26 (don't really know when I ovultated as didn't use OPKs) and just went to the bathroom... There's brown stuff, period isn't due until Monday and it's normally longer cycles than shorter cycles and normally starts very red and heavy (sorry for tmi!) so is this what implantation bleeding is or this the start of AF? how the hell do I tell? It's so hard doing this first time round and not knowing what to expect and when! Really appreciate all your support ladies x

Sunbathing I meant to say thanks for you reply regarding cbfm. You're right I may as well go ahead with it and I can do as you did and compare with ic opks. The lady is meant to be ringing me back at 1pm to go through it all.

Have increased my epo this month to 3000mg and have also started taking 50mg of b6 to try and make my luteal a little longer.

Sorry Ceds I'm in the same boat as you.

My AF seems to normally start with a couple of days of brown spotting that comes and goes. 2-3 days later it then kicks off with proper flow/red blood and I count that as CD1.

So for me this could very much be the start of AF, just a good few days early

But if your AF normally arrives with full flow first then I'd say it could be implantation bleeding for you!

Hate the crotch watch part ceds. Hopefully it is implantation but if it carries on after the first wipe it's less likely to be implantation. I've had spotting before all my periods and I get my hopes up everytime even when it turns to red I still think it might just be early bleeding but it starts without a doubt. But ur not out until AF arrives so I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for u

God I feel totally gutted.

Need to pull myself together and make a plan for what we are going to do differently next cycle if this is AF arriving.

One more cycle doing all we can and then I'm going to make a gp appt I think.
