BUPA fertility investigation

Hi
We've been ttc over a year and not even a sniff of success. We've had all the NHS tests from GP and they were normal. They've not suggested anything further. Meanwhile I've discovered through charting that I have a short luteal phase of 9-10 days, so it's likely this is not helping. I'm 34, aware that whilst this isn't old it's not going to help if I wait too long, so I'd like to get things moving ASAP.

I'm a BUPA member and thinking of going through them instead for some investigations - has anyone done this? Can you recommend it?

Where are you based?
You would probably be better off going to a private fertility consultant for an 'MOT' including ultrasound and possibly a HyCoSy, as well as SA for your DP

I had one at the Create clinic, which has branches in London and Bristol, and found it great in terms of working out our issues and giving us options and next steps.

Thank you - I'm south east so will look into that. Called bupa and they don't cover infertility investigation.

Really appreciate the response thank you

You could try some acupuncture to lengthen your cycle.

I've made an appointment for reflexology Grin

Good plan. I had a short cycle and acupuncture has already lengthened mine by 5 days.
