Afternoon all!

Had a lovely day having hair, nails and toes done. Feel loads better now and all perky and cheery. DH has also suggested we go out for dinner tonight somewhere local which should keep the Sunday blues away!

CD30 and no sign of AF though, I'm normally a 29 day cycle girl so this is a bit odd. Have all the symptoms though of AF being on her way.If I hadn't been told I've probably not ovulated I'd have poas a million times! Guess I just have to wait it out - as long as my cycles aren't messed up I don't mind. It's probably where I've been stressed at work, my body has held back.

mrsE your dss is lucky to have you! his mother doesn't sound like a very nice person at all.

spinning that deffo sounds like a symptom to me GrinGrin just read back and Tenerife sounds lovely! Lovely relaxing,

dozy get DtD lol. I love getting positive opks, I lie there after willing those little swimmers to hit target!

curly I hope you are ok and have had a relaxing day so far. How are you feeling now? Definitely get yourself an appointment if need be.Thanks

april hope the hangover is not too bad. I cannot do hangovers anymore - at 33 they no longer last a morning or even a day but i seem to feel effects for days after. Saying that I did have quite a bit of red wine last night and did wake up feeling a bit muzzy head but some fresh air and coffee and a croissant woke me up.

MrsGingerbread · 21/09/2014 17:17

Hello ladies!

Back from holiday now and have had a proper catch up. Welcome to all the newbies, I have an excellent feeling about this bus. :)

Cycle day 13 here - third day of flashing smiley so project dtd is well underway in the gingerbread house. :)

MrsE you sound like a great mum/stepmum. Glad that your bootfair went well and that all is better with dh. :)

Spinning loving the symptom spotting. :)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 21/09/2014 17:29

MrsG I wouldn't say it's better with dh really. I think he's suffering from man related brain deficiency! Blush he's swooning on the sofa while watching the Grand Prix recording! Clearly that's all he's capable of, while I slave away in the kitchen over a roast and mammoth washing folding, packing boxes, having been up since 5am. sorry was that ranting I'm hoping he will improve once we are moved. Angry I'm grinning and bearing it currently. We have dtd but in a very matter of fact way. Not ideal but if it hits the target I won't care how it happened. I'm fairly livid with dh, but accepting we just have to get through the next week. Life will change after that. Any way I'm hoping angry sex might be good for dhs sperm count! Grin

Aprilray · 21/09/2014 18:53

Thanks Spinning and Genni feeling a lot better after some paracetamol and loads of water. Went out with my best friend, she lives on the other side of London and has 2 little ones so our nights out are rare, was a lot of catching up over a lot of Wine .... FX that is my last blow out!
DH is home soon Grin have missed him. CD13 so getting closer to ov time!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 21/09/2014 19:05

Glad you had a good day at the car boot MrsE! And like Genni said - DSS is very lucky to have you, you really are Extraordinary aren't you?!

Yay for the +tive opk Dozy - for me they are def as exciting as hpts! Haha!

Had a lovely day - cuddles with my friends 9 week old this morning and yummy lunch out with DH and the inlaws this afternoon! with a little too much Wine Blush

I've also had more cm this cycle than any other Spinning, Soy must be doing something

spinningirl10 · 21/09/2014 19:26

MrsG, symptom spotting at 3dpo is no good! Gonna be a long 2 weeksGrin

English lunch and a few drinks sounds lovely

Genni, enjoy your dinner out. Pampering today sounds good.how was your run yesterday?

MrsE, oh dear, sounds like your dh is really milking the poorly thing! Fx he mans up and gives you a hand.

spinningirl10 · 21/09/2014 19:45

Yay just realised it's Downton Abbey tonight!!!

AutumnMagic · 21/09/2014 19:53

Hey lovely ladies, I have been lying low for a bit, trying to have a less stressful ttc month and trying exceptionally hard to not think about it too much!! Not been doing too well but not bad either. TMI Alert!! I am hoping to dtd tonight as day off yesterday but abit of cm and ovu pain yesterday, fx we will have caught in the last few days. Off on travels up country tomorrow to collect a car we have bought as ours went pop at beginning of the week!! Sad really cant afford this at minute gonna go break a match (my dear nans thing) as we have had car break, my dp has crunched his and my beloved cat died, so hoping for only good luck for a while please!!! Hope you're all doing ok and everyone gets there bfp soon. Im going to see if I can catch up on whats been going on after I have sorted insurance for new car!! Baby dust xx

TerrysNo2 · 21/09/2014 20:03

Had a busy couple of days so totally missed a few pages here! Yesterday was DH's birthday and to celebrate we went to Peppa Pig World, how times have changed! Grin

curly that does sound really strange but I guess as you've had no pain that's a good thing?? I would go to the docs as it sounds like it needs investigating.

MrsE I don't envy anyone the role of a step-parent, I have a step-dad and I was pretty mean to him at times and blamed him for everything. Now we get on great but it was hard. And I didn't even have aspergers to throw into the mix. Just stay strong and hopefully one day you'll find the right relationship IYSWIM.

Dozy hope you got to DTD before work! I love +ve OPKs, I still find it so clever!

genni how do you know you didn't OV? Sorry if I missed that. If my AF arrives in the next few days then we will probably be in the 2ww together Smile

Ooops... I have realised I joined this thread and I am already 11dpo (but I looked at the other threads and I thought this one looked nice!) and if this isn't my month then I am in the right place for next month anyway! So technically I can test now but I am desperately trying to hold off as I know that even if I get a BFP I will be worried until I can get a scan (for anyone not read back I had an ectopic in July). AF due around Friday so I am hoping to wait until next Monday.

I hope you'll still have me on here?? Smile

Sunbathing I have found that I can have a positive opk for 2 days and then temps show that I ovulate on the 3rd day and opk usually gets fainter then.

Also from what I have read and been led to believe in the past you normally ov 12-36 after your first opk. It doesn't matter if you get positive ones the day after as it's possible for LH to still be about before it starts decreasing x

Terry's I'm hoping one day ds will accept me better. But aspergers doesn't help with that. He just doesn't comprehend feelings and impact on others. I get on perfectly fine with dsd, who comes over every other wkd and half all the holidays. They are like chalk and cheese. She was 6 when I first met her, so an easier age perhaps anyway. She's so much like her dad. Very laid back. It's easy to love a child you give birth to but much harder than I ever imagined to be a step mother.

Hip hip hooray, we've dtd 3 days in a row. Aiming for 2 more days. Every time I take a day off it goes wrong. Grin Had awful ov pains this morn while standing in a field at 7am, but that might have just been I noticed it as I was bored! Wink

lucieloos · 21/09/2014 23:56

Well it's cd9 here now and think we are both determined to try hard this month. So far we have dtd cd7,8 & 9. We are going to try again tomorrow as well and then hopefully have a day off and then do another 3 days in a row but all dependent on when I get positive opk.

I think dh has been reading up bless him as he asked me yesterday if I thought maybe I should prop my bum up under some pillows to give his swimmers a helping hand. I have wanted to do it before but didn't want to seem as though I was getting a bit ott with things in his eyes but now I am sat typing with a pillow under my bum for the second night running Smile

I really hope this is a lucky bus. Second month on epo, preseed and soft cups!

frogbubbles · 22/09/2014 00:15

Phew... I'm not sure how I've managed to get through last few weeks. Crazy family life is now calming down. My very poorly DGF has been brought out of coma and although he's still very poorly & confused he's making slow progress. Which is good. Just catching up on thread now...

Curly sending hugs, hope you have a relaxing day

Sunbathing & Spinning I actually 'stumbled' across a website called POAS paradise. A haven for us POAS addicts. Made me chuckle.

MrsE sorry to hear your having a hard time with your DS I hope you get things sorted out and school find a way of working with you and sort out some support for him

CD6 here so not much happening, having a very strange AF, very light (barely there) for 2 days and then really heavy last 2days usually go other way round, but hey ho.

Big waves to new faces, good luck to everyone in their tww and those DTD

TerrysNo2 · 22/09/2014 06:43

Temp has dropped to the coverline so I'll expect AF any day now. Really [sad

spinningirl10 · 22/09/2014 07:09

Morning Grin

Frog haha, I need to avoid that group!

Terry, sorry to hear about your gf but good news he's making progress. I don't temp but will keep fx af doesn't arrive.

MrsE, woohoo for lots of dtd. Especially with everything else youve got going on!

4dpo here so nothing sensible to report Grin

spinningirl10 · 22/09/2014 07:11

Oops forgot to say autumn, I'm so sorry to hear about your catThanks

AutumnMagic · 22/09/2014 07:35

Thank you spinning. Well we managed to dtd very tiredly both nearly fell asleep!! Lol. I had a strong opk just before so fx!!!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 22/09/2014 07:48

Morning ladies, well we didn't dtd at all in the run up unlike other months. Just cd8, then had 2 strong lines with flashy on cd14, so dtd 14, 15, 16 with full smily on 15. I think yesterday was the crucial day and today. Fx

I'm wondering about position for dtd. Sorry don't choke over your breakfast! Wink But when we do it missionary I feel like the sperm gets higher inside as I'm properly tilted, but last 2 nights have done doggy style. So we didn't have to look at each other we are both really fed up and it's guaranteed to be quick! But feels like it all falls out far too quickly. I've got a very high cervix, so wondering whether doggy was counter productive.

Obviously I want you all to say you have got pg while doing doggy! Wink

EnglishGirlsReturned · 22/09/2014 08:06

Hahahaha MrsE!! Never too early for an over share! I always make DH do his bit in missionary as I feel like it all comes out quicker if he shoots his load while in doggy. I just tell him he needs to flip me at the crucial point Wink

Had been expecting FF to confirm ov today but due to a bloody temp dip yesterday it hasn't. I'm hoping that another rise tomorrow should do the trick to confirm it! Think I'm 3dpo

MrsExtraOrdinary · 22/09/2014 08:11

Lol English I'm too old and past it for flipping! I don't think my joints are up to it! BlushShock In fact I'm not sure they've been up to it since 2009 ! GrinGrin I was once a flexible friend but alas I think I lost my hip joints somewhere silly! Grin

AutumnMagic · 22/09/2014 08:16

Lol. MrsE actually spat my tea out lol. I am the bearer of good news, We conceived ds1 doggy style so fx for you!! Grin At present trying to sort insurance out as was a minefield last night and needed to dtd before I fell asleep totally, im sure we woke each other up at several points whilst dtd. Haha whoops!! But stupid computer has broken on me, its brand new ready for new uni term. Aaarrrgghhh!! Angry
