I done a pregnancy test it's possitive but I don't know if the Pepsi I spilt on it made it possitive I done bleach test and fizzed and foamed

What if it's negative though? You'll be building it up and it will be more disappointing because right now you really think it's positive and you'll be hoping and thinking over 6 more days.

Just to be clear, you know pregnancy tests normally have two little windows, and if only one has a line in it you're not pregnant, and if both have lines in, you are pregnant. That's what normally happens but obviously you have to read the packaging!

I'm just wondering whether you are seeing one line or two when you seem to be seeing a positive result?

There are definitely two lines Misc. One is very faint but it's there.

If that is a positive test, I would put good money on it being a biochemical pregnancy. There's no way it will last sadly in my opinion.

That does not look like a positive test but daisychain is the biggest ray of sunshine on this thread in any case.

The 3 rd picture I can maybe see a second line but definitely not in the first one.

Also a feint line doesn't necessarily mean a biochemical pregnancy. With dd I only saw the line as I was chucking the test in the bin .

On iPad so can't see your pictures but.... If it's positive how do you know if it's you or the Pepsi can that's preggers?

Daisychain - you've no idea how early in the potential pregnancy she's testing. It could well be an early test, and a late-in-the-day peeing. Bit of a harsh "telling it like it is" based on not really knowing anything!

MummyandBabies I can see a faint line on the first pic. Did you see the line before Pepsi spillage, or only after?

I answered honestly because I'm well aware of what it feels like to want to be pregnant..try 15 years of trying.. That's how I know when a positive is a positive and when it's a biochem.

Bullshit. There are so many different factors that could influence the strength of the line.

Ammonia plus bleach equals chlorine gas. As in the deadly poison used in warfare. Do not breath it in.

A faint line doesn't mean a weak pregnancy - it could just be really soon after ovulation. My first positive test was so faint I had to do about 50 more over the following few weeks just to be sure. That baby is now almost a year old.

This has nothing to do with the thread, but I'm boggled about the wee and bleach thing being dangerous. So if you put bleach down the loo, song flush, then wee, you are potentially making hazardous gas?? How have I not been killed?! I alsways leave bleach down the loo when I clean the bathroom!

Ah, I don't think wee and bleach would be a big problem, but bleach and a household cleaner containing ammonia would create a potentially lethal gas.

Vapour lines are grey, positive lines are a light colour.

The ammonia is urine isn't really strong enough to make mustard gas. Mixing bleach and ammonia, however, will make it. It's bad and there's no antidote.

ignore Daisy chain, 1st test with DD was a similarly faint line and she's now a very healthy 5 year old, it was just because it was an early test.

a quick google of 'will pepsi make a pregnancy test positive?' suggests it might have been the pepsi though.
