HyCoSy NHS waiting time in London

Hi, I am new to the NHS system having moved here a few yrs ago as a spouse of a UK citizen. We've been ttc and I've been advised by a private GP that I need a hycosy test. I'm debating if I should try to get it through the NHS as I've begun fertility exploration with NHS but if I try the NHS, is there a long wait time? Getting the test done outside of the NHS seems to be in the £300-£350 range so it's not cheap but time is not on my side. If anyone knows what the average wait time is for a hycosy test, I'd appreciate what you can share! Thanks!

I'm probably a few years out of date so please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it's done on NHS. It's more likely to be a a hysteroosalpingogram. You will be on the 18 week pathway so all appointments and investigations should be within this time. You will need to do an USS and a sperm test too.

If your going private this is a good way to get all tests and a consultation a bit cheeper.

Whatever you do keep copies of all test results so you can reuse at a different clinic.

Good luck & hope you fall pregnant soon xx
