Treacle I hope so x Fx for you lovely lady x

Spinning Yay! Sounds like you are well on your way for a BFP! Our best is all any of us can do, the rest is out of our hands xx Fx

junkfoodaddict · 05/07/2014 20:51

Really sorry to hear you're off the bus GrandHighWitch.

I am not on here as much as I'd like and therefore miss everyone's posts so congratulations to those who have had their BFP.

I have heard 'horror' stories today of friends who have taken from 2-4 years to conceive, especially number 2 which is making me slightly nervous. I POAS on 10th July. I conceived first time with DS.

What symptoms does everyone get (those who have had BFP) prior to POAS and getting BFP?

I always get sore heavy boobs when my bra is off about 5/6 days prior but this time (last 4/5 days) I have been feeling more tired than usual and getting dizzy spells but I'm not sure if I am feeling a bit optimisitic.

MrsVonBlack13 · 05/07/2014 20:59

treacle I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

laura I am 5 DPO and it us rubbish!!!!! I'm thinking of my poas date but I really font know when!!! I think I'll just go by symptoms. I'm signed off work with stress ATM and I hope being off has helped my body get to grips but I'm genuinely terrified it hasn't and I'll have to back even more stressed than before! Keep me updated on your symptoms!!

grandhigh I'm really sorry to hear that I was rooting for you xx

kurama · 05/07/2014 21:21

so sorry grandhigh really hoped that this was gonna be your month Sad
how is everyone else doing today? ive had the worst hayfever ever today even with tablets and i have a coldsore Sad 2dpo...... comon 16th!!!

Blueskygirl30 · 05/07/2014 21:25

Oh no Grandhighwitch I was really hoping it would happen for you this month. I really hope that not trying not to conceive works for you next month instead. You are not a failure in anyway and it will happen. Keeping my fx for you for next month, even if you aren't on the bus. X

Cpt1sock · 05/07/2014 21:31

grandhighwitch so sorry AF arrived. You'll be missed on the bus but i hope trying not to try & making plans for work cause Sod's law to kick in and you soon get a BFP. Be kind to yourself x

spinningirl10 · 05/07/2014 21:36

Grandhigh, I'm sorry to hear af has arrived, I really thought this was your month. Good luck next cycle, take some time out if you need it but I hope we see you back here soon, we'll miss youThanks

Lol Linda, hope you're not too traumatised by tmi, you did askGrin

Nordicmom · 05/07/2014 21:47

Sorry grandhigh AF arrived :(!
I've been in agony all day even taking all the painkillers except codeine I can . Last cycle bleeding lasted ages for me at least 7 d , normally 4-5 and not heavy . Was very painful like now too . Feeling really fed up . To top it off DH asked when are we going to stop this since it's not working which was nice and I had to inform him that I'm now completely set on having the baby and won't give up like I didn't with dd . I so wish I had more options :(...

cinnamongreyhound · 05/07/2014 21:55

Don't feel like a failure TheGrandHighWitch!! There are so many things that go on inside us to make a successful embryo that it's no wonder it doesn't always work out. I understand as I got very down when trying for ds1 and that was only 6 months. If not trying is what you feel you need to do then good luck to you. Keep us posted if it works though Wink

Treaclepie19 · 05/07/2014 21:59

So sorry grand, we will miss you. Do not feel like a failure, i know that thought all too well and it is not accurate. Big hugs x

kurama · 05/07/2014 22:00

nordic read ur post to my dh and his response was "how very supportive, tell him to get fucked and go find a newer model"...... Grandhigh i know how you feel but you are not useless! take all the time u need, you know were we are if you feel like chatting/venting hugs to you both

Aprilray · 05/07/2014 22:00

Oh no GrandHighWitch, was truly gutted when I checked in to see that AF has arrived for you Sad fx not preventing works next month - will miss you on the bus Thanks x x

Welcome to the Newbies! Mrspinnegar I am using a CBFM - it's my first cycle using it and it didn't give me a peak, just a load of highs though through temping I think I did ov and the monitor is just getting to know me.

Fx for a stronger line tomorrow Pickledporcupine

LP sorry you got a bfn - it's not over yet though!

Aprilray · 05/07/2014 22:02

Sorry you are having such a tough time Nordic, Kurama love your DH's response!!

cinnamongreyhound · 05/07/2014 22:03

Sorry Nordicmom, very slow internet here so x posts. Perhaps your dh just doesn't want to see you suffer? For some people the idea of having more children when you already have one of each is hard to understand so perhaps that's where he's coming from? So sorry you're feeling so awful.

Treaclepie19 · 05/07/2014 22:05

Sorry Nordic, didn't see your post.
Sorry to hear that. Men just don't understand these things as much.

Me and DH have had an argument today. Men.

Blueskygirl30 · 05/07/2014 22:14

Oh nordic please accept this hug That's pretty shitty of your DH to say, especially whilst you're going through a painful AF. Hopefully he didn't mean it and it just came out of his mouth without thinking it through properly.

Aprilray · 05/07/2014 22:16

So something odd happened this evening. Poured myself a glass of red and it made me feel really sick - had a kind of bile taste in my mouth. First time I think I've ever thrown away wine! It was a cheap bottle and I hadn't eaten properly today but really really hoping it is a symptom.

Spent today at a dress rehearsal for a dance show I am performing in with my tap class tomorrow - was watching the little kiddies rehearse and they were ridiculously cute, I just can't stop thinking about how much I want one!! I was a bit blubbery when it came to doing my bit.
Think I am 5-7 dpo so still a way to go to POAS. Really worried about getting my hopes up when we only DTD twice during the time I think I ov.

FoscarC · 05/07/2014 22:24

grandhigh so sorry to hear af arrived. Really gutted for you.

junkffodaddict symptoms wise for me. I'm not really sure. My boobs were big and sore for about 10 days before I poas (I pee'd 18dpo so left it late), and I had a day of being really emotional the day before I poas. Cried a lot and I am not a crier. But all of those could have possibly have been put down to pmt. They were just worse. Really good luck to you

I haven't had any symptoms yet as I'm only 6 Dpo but omg nipples of hell!!! So itchy and always on point! Just drank a huge fertility smoothie so hopefully that will boost my body to hold this wee one!

Also I was going to ask if anyone else is using any relaxation methods or reflexology? I'm using circle and blooms natural fertility mp3's and go to reflexology x

Rainbow555 · 05/07/2014 22:43

Holy crap I gave in and poas just now....can you see a line?? Arghhhhhh

Sorry you feel rubbish nordic and your DH response sucks!!

Rainbow555 · 05/07/2014 23:03

Yikes! laurano and blue I thought I could but DH said he couldn't but his eyesight is crap and the bedroom light was off etc so just after he got up he looked again and said maybe...so I needed to know from the experts!!
So do I do one again tomorrow for a stronger line or wait till Tuesday?
Arghhhhhh I am slightly shocked and in disbelief tbh!!
