Night ladies! Got an early start in the morning-sister moved house last week and we're going up to help. Will check in before I go Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/07/2014 22:41

I also had a nasty incident today slight prang and very near miss followed by extreme road rage. I've reported it to the police. I think the sun has gone to some peoples heads today.

laurano81 · 04/07/2014 22:49

Oh gosh MrsE I hope you are ok! Gosh the shock of it is terrible! x

Night Kitty I hope your temps keep going up & you'll have to ditch the fleecy PJ's & go comando Grin x

Still reading back throught the thread x

Treaclepie19 · 04/07/2014 22:52

Haha no kitty :p fingers crossed it stays up!

Oh MrsE, hope you're ok x

I'm off to bed. Got this christening tomorrow.

Night lovely ladies xxx

Blueskygirl30 · 04/07/2014 22:56

Oh no Laurano it's such a shame that there are some stupid jerks out there who put us through stuff like this!

MrsE I hope you weren't hurt today?? Again, there are some real jerks on the road. Just remember that that person with the road rage is probably a generally miserable person and probably lives a miserable existence.

Grand I could see a faint line on the inverted picture you put up, fx for a strong positive tomorrow so your poor eyes can stop squinting! :-)

My Agnus Castus and B6 arrived this morning so I'm giving it a go this month, fx I'll at least bring my ovulation forward slightly and lengthen my LP a little even if I don't get a BFP.

Blueskygirl30 · 04/07/2014 22:58

Oh and Treaclepie I hope you manage to enjoy the christening, even though it will also be hard. It'll be you really really soon with the baby in your arms. XxX

Treaclepie19 · 04/07/2014 23:09

Thank you bluesky :)
I will get through it and keep thinking positively until af proves me wrong, or not!

TheDetective · 04/07/2014 23:22

I'm just jumping in. TTC number 3. Af due 24th July. 1st cycle.

Just giving it 2 goes. If not successful, we will wait til next year. I can't decide what age gap I want, 2.5 or 3.5. So I'm letting nature decide!

What will be will be :)

laurano81 · 04/07/2014 23:43

Bluesky I got the drops version of the agnus cactus...the taste takes a bit getting used to! I mix it with some juice x Fx it does bring your ovulation forward & lengthen your luteal phase x

Welcome TheDetective Smile. How old are your children? I guess you have to also calculate the time you will be pregnant & sometimes it doesn't happen right away! x I wish it did Smile x

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/07/2014 23:52

I refused to get out the car and drove away because my boys 11&7 were really rather scared in the back. You wouldn't think in this day and age a man would actually be so bullying to a woman on her own, in broad daylight. With a whole queue of traffic for the level crossing just watching on. He wasn't even involved in either car. Just came out of no where and loomed into my open window screaming at me. I'm still in shock but not hurt. The accident wasn't my fault either. Just an impatient driver refusing to wait her turn. Think I'd risk my brand new xc90. Er no.Angry

laurano81 · 05/07/2014 00:15

MrsE The ignorance of people astonishes me sometimes! I refuse to let the behaviour of others affect my inner peace. Sadly it does affect me, as much as I try not to let it! The cheek of him & your boys in the car! One word! Lunatic girl! & there isn't even a full moon! Shock x Take some arnica for the shock x

TheDetective · 05/07/2014 02:52

Thanks Laura! I have a 12 year old. Then a big gap as I have a 19 month old.

I definitely don't want that sort of gap again! Grin

I'm just a bit scared of the challenge of a small age gap!

I think practical wise 3.5 years would be better for me. But 2.5 would be a better age gap for the children as they will be sharing a room. And hopefully have similar interests and play together. That's the theory anyway!

I'm not crazy on the idea of two in nappies and a double buggy. But we shall see what happens!

It sounds a little silly, but I'm keen for an April/May baby (or at least due around that time) as it will maximise my annual leave usage for before and after mat leave. Plus a couple of other financial and practical reasons. But really it doesn't matter that much. I'm just giving it 2 cycles and then if no luck will wait for next year and just keep trying til we get a baby!

notoasthere · 05/07/2014 05:43

Pulling up a seat for the testing this morning!

laura can't believe he is trying to blame you!

mrse what a horrid man, some people are just vile Sad Sad

treacle chin up today - it WILL be you christening your own baby soon

MaMaPo · 05/07/2014 06:05

Hey Detective! I came across you on the Nov 2012 postnatal boards which I mostly lurked on (my daughter was born at the start of Dec 2012). Welcome. I have also just started TTC again - I hadn't really thought of the double buggy/double nappy conundrum with this age gap, but my age is against me so we are going for it. Best of luck to us both.

My broodiness kicked into overdrive yesterday, as I went to visit a friend and her 3-day-old boy. He was divine! My daughter was pretty interested in him but more interested in his toys. Seeing him made me a bit nostalgic for my early days with my daughter and I do hope I get to experience it again. Wow - there is such amnesia! I found it so tough in the early days yet I'm still keen to go through it again!

Fingers firmly crossed for anyone testing in the morning.

mistywillow17 · 05/07/2014 06:11

bugger. after yesterday's flicker of excitement, no sign of a line on the test today. Still very early, so not upset, but I did enjoy the glimmer of hope and am now impatiently waiting like a weird online stalker for someone else to get their BFP so I can enjoy it vicariously...

Kitty, hope your temp is nice and toasty this morning

Laurano I am outraged for you! I hope he gets everything he deserves. And MrsE, I hope you are ok, that would have left me really shaken

KittyVonCatsington · 05/07/2014 06:28

Morning!

Welcome Detective! FX you get lucky either this cycle or the next Smile

MrsE You must have been really shaken up. Sending lots of hugs to you and your DC. Some people are just pricks. Amazing the amount of idiots on the road. Hope today is a better day Thanks

Treacle Daydream during the service about your own christening;plan it in your head and focus on that. You will get through it and will have been a bloody good friend to boot.

Did your temps go up laura? Mine did Grin 36.74 again and I had no covers on! FF has confirmed ovulation as being Wednesday. 2 days later than last cycle Sad so LP will be a little shorter but at least I've ovulated and we kept on DTD DH is pestering for one last shot Hee Hee

mistywillow how many dpo are you? I didn't get a BFP until the day my AF was due. FX yours comes.

Hope to come back to some BFPs this evening!!

mistywillow17 · 05/07/2014 06:38

Hurray for Kitty's temperature!

I'm between 8-10 dpo I think - was really hard to pin down this month. I knew yesterday's test was probably not a real positive, but it was so nice just to have a few moments of wondering, rather than an obvious BFN.
No more peesticks left now til I go home from visiting the parents, so I will have to chill out for a few days until it is a more sensible time to test anyway!

lp2014 · 05/07/2014 06:41

Morning everyone!

I got a bfn unfortunately xx

notoasthere · 05/07/2014 06:44

Sorry for the bfns lp and willow

lp2014 · 05/07/2014 06:45

Thanks notoast

PickledPorcupine · 05/07/2014 06:48

Hi everyone, I poas this morning (super drug test and 11dpo) and dh and I can see the faintest line ever. Can only see it in certain lights and it won't show on a photo.

His question - can you see the line where the line is supposed to be on the tests? We don't have another one in the house to check!

It is stupidly faint, and now I look again I'm struggling to see it. But he saw it without any prompting from me so I know I'm not going crazy!

Treaclepie19 · 05/07/2014 06:50

Thanks ladies :)
We're not really religious so wouldn't have a christening but I can definitely think about us havin our baby.

Sorry for the bfns lp and willow :(
How many dpo are you lp?

Treaclepie19 · 05/07/2014 06:51

lp2014 · 05/07/2014 06:55
