April TTC girls onwards to July! BFP's galore!

Following in from our previous thread!
Hopefully this thread is as successful as our last with a big BFP bonanza!

Aw how exciting all these scans!!! :D so happy for u all!! :D

I'm still praying for my bfp next week! And I've still not tested at all! :) I, determind to wait till at least next Friday!

FX Cupcake. How is DS today?

I am just about to go to bed- shattered. End of termitis.

DH has just phoned to say he is on his way home - has had a 'few' drinks (has been there since 3.30pm) so is getting a taxi with his mate Chris. We'll have to collect his car tomorrow. DH with a few drinks in him means soppiness so I am definitely off to bed- can't be doing with that.

He's been a little better has been sleeping a lot bless him but his temp has stayed down :) thanks lulu.
I'm off to bed as well get the most of sleep lol!

Eurgh what a night. That was horrible. I feel for all you with dc as well. Must have been a hard one for you.x

I'm doing the cb trial too, got all my stuff yesterday, just waiting on either a bfp next week (due af on friday) or af to come so I can start the trial.

good luck everyone with scans etc. It's weird seeing some of you at 16/17 wks feels like yesterday that you were getting bfps

Are u on about the heat kitkat? Cuz OMG it was awful!!
Me DH and DS were just lay on the bed at midnight with a handheld fan!!!' We are off to buy a massive standing fan today!!

And iam u don't just jump in and out randomly, I feel we are all close and it's great how much we all support each other :) makes me so much better knowing I have u guys to talk to!

Even DH needed a fan last night. He had to go into the garage and look for the standing one, dust it down and put it at his side. So we had one at each side, on top setting and it was still hot. I made him stay a foot away from me so I had a cool zone for air to circulate.

Today is muggy here- hot and mizzley/damp but not actually raining. The air is wet!

Here was awful! It was boiling hot and such bad thunder! And there was a hoo ha happening at stupid o clock with undercover police busting into the neighbours!

It's all go where you live ducky!

I have my scan on 14 August, can't wait! Also MIL's birthday and she's staying with us so she will be very excited!

Omg did he have a very large package? Sorry to ask just my DS at 16 weeks it was a very very clear package!! Could not mistake him for a girl at all!!

Oh that's lovely Ducky. Congratulations! Was DH excited?

We can't decide if we would prefer a boy or girl, or if we want to know before it arrives. We will be happy with a healthy baby that arrives safely. DH veers between a boy - who I think he sees bringing up as an image of himself (!) - and a girl (who I know he would be a total pushover with). He genuinely is excited for either. He thinks we will just have the other one next time. has no idea how these things work

Ducky Now you can really think about names. Have you got a list? You must be so excited.

DH and his family are over the moon, which has upset me a bit... Basically before I found out dd was a girl we got a postcard from one of his family members saying tey hope it's a boy to 'carry their name on' and then the other day all his family kept saying 'let's hope it's a boy'.

I'm happy either way as long as te baby is healthy but it just makes me think, would they not care if it was a girl? And now I wonder how they felt about dd

Try not to think like that Ducky. Some people are still old fashioned about it. I am sure they would have loved DD but hoped for a boy at some point for the name thing. I do think about it. I am an only child and our family name ended when I married DH. He has suggested we give it to the baby and any other babies as a middle name - it isn't a very attractive name actually- I much prefer his surname.

But the truth is, boy or girl your baby will be much loved by you and you always knew that. He is a loved and very wanted baby.

Baby clothes are so sweet. I have been trying to avoid everything yet!

Ducky do you feel him moving around lots? I haven't felt anything yet at all. 16 weeks today.

Not lots lulu but I do feel somethig every day now. I panic about it every 5 mins haha. But apparently you feel it earlier second time round. With dd I never really felt anything until around 24 weeks.

When is your 20 week scan? I would make sure you ask where your placenta is because that could affect it with dd it was anterior so I couldn't feel her much and didn't feel her until late, this time it's posterior so I can feel more
