As in for example 6 months dc1 then ttc for 2 months for dc2 and 4 months for dc3.

Also include not actively ttc.

Just curious .

Took us ages to conceive dd but maybe no2 won't take so long?

It does seem for a lot of people who take a while to have the first that it 'kick starts' something and subsequent children happen faster.

Just our bad luck to be in the group that don't!

Baby 1 at 20 - 1 month (miscarriage)

Baby 2 at 23 - 1 month

Baby 3 at 25 - 1 month (miscarriage)

Baby 4 at 28 - 1 month

Baby 5 at 30 - accident and the only unprotected full sex we had the entire month as he was finishing else where (ahem)

So 3 survived but dh and I are still ridiculously fertile together. I have had unprotected sex with other men prior to him and never had a scare.

Dd1 16 months
Dc2 been trying 9 months.

Was hoping for things to be a lot less difficult second time around but resigning myself to the fact we just aren't hugely fertile.

DD (only child) approx 2.5 yrs. decided after two years it wasn't going to happen and spent every last penny on a house. Clearly the chi was flowing correctly in the new house ...

DC2 at 26: 1 month
DC3 at 28: 1 month
DC4 at 41: 6.5 years, with one MC at 13 weeks halfway

DS1: 11 months
DS2: First time of trying Shock - there's only a 16 month gap between them. We only started trying because we thought it might take a while.
DS3: 2 months
