Hiya I've started to weaning my daughter she's now 7 months old. I'm still bf her in the morning and night. My period has still not retuned. We've been having sex but doing the pull out method. We have not used any contraception. What is the the likely hood of me being/getting pregnant?
Any advice or past experience would greatly appreciate
Thank you very much

Yes, you definitely can get pregnant. Be careful if you don't want another pregnancy. You can ovulate and get pregnant without another period.

Yes you could get pregnant. 'The pull out method' is not contraception. Unless you are planning on becoming pregnant, you will need to either abstain from sex or use a reliable method of contraception. Wether or not you are breastfeeding is irrelevant.

I was in exactly your position when I got pregnant the second time, no periods and all. Even though I'd tried for over a year to have DD1 and thought I prob wasn't very fertile. Ha.

I got pregnant aged 45 breastfeeding my then seven month old surprise baby. Breastfeeding is not a reliable method of contraception, neither is pulling out. It entirely depends on chance.

Forgot to add the surprise baby happened four years after having tried for years for dc4, being diagnosed as havind secondary infertility and possibly being peri menopausal.
