Awww Steff!!!! That sounds like you are pregnant!!!! I kept hearing conflicting advice about opks being used as hpt's so I tried it myself and it definitely worked! Opk comes back very very very dark! Congratttssssss!!! A honeymoon baby!!!

I am still a bit confused as it seems a bit early to have a positive pregnancy test 5 days before AF are due... I think I will do another test in 2 or 3 days, a clearblue test, to be totally sure.
But it's good to read that you tried yourself and the opk comes back positive, I'm keeping hope

It does seem a bit early but it's very rare to get a false positive and from my experience with the opks it sounds positive to me fingers crossed!!

Omg I'm starting to dream of a little honeymoon baby...! I must definitely wait until the day AF are due before testing again. Bad luck, my husband is leaving saturday for 10 days... Should I test before saturday and, in case the clearblue test is positive, I could tell him directly OR should I wait his return (I would have enough tim to make a blood test...). What would you do ladies?

BFP Bonanza!!! I did a clear blue digital this morning and it was positive 1-2 weeks!!!

So shocked and amazed, my first though, oh gosh, what have we done, haha! I cant believe I am actually pregnant, the news is just sinking in. It's so crazy, my head is spinning and I need to go to work now, eee, how will I ever concentrate!

Steph sounds promising for you too. I didn't have any symptoms, just swollen boobs, not even sore just bigger than usual. Good luck testing x

I was exactly like that when I was pg. Then suddenly out of no where my sex drive shot up! It was crazy! DH couldn't understand how one day I couldn't stand the thought of being touched to the next day begging for some action haha! So don't worry ull get ur sex drive back soon.

On another note... DS is driving me insane this morning and it's only 9am! Why does teething have to be so bad!

Pffffuiii... cant' wait until tomorrow morning to do the test...! Seems soooooo long!!!

Enough with the BFPs, I'm going to have to do the stats all over again!!

It made ironing his shirts easier this morning that's for sure tori!! I wish there was an easy answer honey, I would probably go for it anyway - employment are generally amazing (and very accommodating) when it comes to pregnancy so there will be some alterations if you need them. If it was me I would definitely go for it! xx

Stephen don't have a drink for an hour or so and then do the test. I did all mine in the afternoon.

Apparently can't eat ham when pregnant unless it is cooked and hot. Is this true? I also forgot to wash my spinach leaves yesterday :s this is hard avoiding things!
I have been having ham pretty much every day!
anyone have a good list of things you can't eat that we can put on here? Even if it's just from memory.

Things i know you can't have:
eggs unless completely cooked, never runny
brie, blue cheeses, feta - any unpasteurised cheese
certain fishes
not too much tuna as it has mercury in it
Ham and precooked meats unless piping hot (what the f?!)
chorizo
Undercooked meat, all beef and lamb should be well done
hot dog sausages
prepacked salads
liver
unwashed fruit and vegetables
peanuts (I read is possible it can cause peanut allergies in baby?)

I'm worried I'm going to do the wrong thing and cause problems :s
