Dtd 2 times, that's it. So I'm not hoping at all. Don't feel it will happen for us, so we brought a kitten yesterday.
I officially hate ttc :( it's awful. People get pregnant by mistake, condom breaks , pregnant. Missed a pill, pregnant.
But when ur ttc doing things to actually increase the chances.... Not pregnant. :(
Sorry just having a down day. Just really want it to happen and never thought it would take this long :/

Cupcake of course you should be here!!! There's plenty still waiting for their BFP's and everyone on here WILL get their BFP

I think it's very easy to have down days when TTC but were all here to support you you have had a stressful month with moving etc.

Just remember, it only takes that once

I've just woke up in one of those moods.
And DS has just learnt to crawl and made me think he's growing up fast! He needs a little brother or sister to play with! So we brought the kitten haha he keeps crawling after him. It is the cutest little thing tho :)

True it only takes the one, not hoping this month tho. I got a message from the clear blue trial so If it doesn't happen this month then next month I've got lots of free stuff to try!

cupcake course you should be here . I got to the point were I was begging dh for a rabbit because I thought we would never have children !! I want to rush round all my friends and tell them "it takes longer than you think dont wait!" . You've been through loads this month you've got a new house and a little person to look after , I dont know how you've managed to dtd at all !!

Yeah cupcake, no sneaking off! You're not the only one without a BFP! You just don't know when it will happen. I'm just reminding myself there's something like an 80% chance I'll be pg by next Christmas.

I am feeling very conspicuous today - I'm off to the hairdressers then to this interview then straight to work, so I have to turn up at the office in a suit instead of my usual jeans and with smart hair and pretend nothing's up!

Cupcake I get it, I totally get it! I looked at my app and saw two lonely love hearts in June (dtd) and only one in my fertile window. Don't lose heart, it's early days, it really is x

popple my DH last night accused me of "only wanting him for his sperm"! It was in jest but I think when you're on the dtd marathon everyone starts to feel like that! I'm on the 2ww now and it's kind of a relief not to feel the pressure of having to dtd every other day!

How many dpo are you?

I'm only 3 dpo ducky, and that's a very rough estimate - I'm only on cycle 2 and cycle 1 was 37 days so I'm just sort of assuming that cycle 2 will be as well. Before I was on the pill I was never exact though - used to range from 32-38ish days. Too early for symptom spotting I think ... will just try to keep busy and wait at least until AF is a day late before I POAS!

So, I have finally found you - you lot have been busy!

I got AF whilst away the bitch - but I am happy because on our first day of holiday I GOT ENGAGED!!! So so chuffed about that (if you couldn't guess)

I have decided that this month I am not going to use OPK's and just go with it. Based on my AF this month I don't think I had one last month (and my usual AF) so I am just going to 'go with it' and see what happens. We normally DTD every day so if it doesn't happen then so be it. See what happens this month & I am going to DTD every other day as a definite but around my birthday I think it will be every day. Fingers crossed

Congratulations macmissy! How did he do it? How exciting!

We went to Eigg (which is a little island south of Skye off the west coast in Scotland) - we were going to walk up to the top of An Sgurr but the weather as really patchy and it had a huge black cloud so we walked along to the harbor instead. I was stood taking photos & turned around with him on 1 knee. He opened the ring box & I can't remember anything else! Haha

I had to check the next day that I said yes as I just can't remember!

oh and I also said before he opened the ring box 'what on earth are you doing?' to him saying 'what does it look like?' and then the ring box opened.

Am also of your holiday - we go to the islands every year but we've never made it to Eigg!

Any bfp girls got symptons ? I still have sore boobs ,dont feel 100% in the mornings and I am tired but I am out Iam always tired !! So nothing to traumatic turns out you go from worrying about ttc to worrying about something else !! You just assume when you get pregnant your vomitting in the streets !!

Same tori !! Waking up at 5 is the norm now !! Iam finding it hard to tell the difference between normal feelings and pregnancy feelings ! I shrug everything off as just being tired !! I know after the inital excitment I am just worried !

Aw poppet it really was! I am still beaming now over a week on!

Oh Bears you must! It is absolutely unreal. Completely divine, time stands still there I swear! We stayed in a yurt for 3 nights (only £35 a night!) which is unreal compared to prices in England!

It's made me want to buy land with a project house & open up affordable yurts here in the Peaks - all of the ones here are super expensive, when it really doesn't need to be!

If nothing else, it is a HUGE distraction from OPK's - which I think might be causing a negative impact - so I am going to surround myself with wedding things and be as positive as can be!
