Morning lovelies!

Happy belated birthday kitkat!! I hope you had a great day Smile!

tori and kitkat, we're all very close (5 weeks) and I totally understand your doubts kitkat! I can't stop thinking I won't be able to do it... So many changes, responsabilities, etc. I made a horrible dream last night. I realized that - probably - some of us won't keep the baby (that just statistics...) and I couldn't sleep after that. I was asking myself if it was a good idea to talk about names, symptoms, etc., if, in the end, we might lost our baby! And this morning, everything was fine I just couldn't wait to read what happenend last night in that thread. As you see, I'm also very emotional... and that is my unique symptom. Boobs are a bit bigger, but I don't have to change bras. So tori, I'm definitely like you, without any real changes. I did a new pregnancy test, just to be sure I was still pregnant Smile, it was still positive Smile. I think we should not get worried about our lack of symptoms, every woman is different!

poppet, I am in the same situation... We've this big dinner with my family-in-law next week, and there are italians and can't stop drinking - very fine - italian wine. If you dare to say "No thanks", they will directly guess... My DH told me to say that I was driving and that I ate something strange the day before and was feeling a bit inconfortable. But actually, I like your idea ducky, I think I'll pretend to be on antibiotics... But what could I possibly say if they ask me "why do you need to take antibiotics"???
Have a pleasant day!

Could say a tooth infection? You could go wild and make something crazy up!

I'm terrified still of loosing this baby Hmm I wouldn't cope with another loss this year, and so far this year has been awful so I'm hoping il have a good end to it Grin

steph1204 · 16/06/2014 08:27

You're right ducky, fx cross!!!!

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 08:30

Wisdom tooth was going to be my line!! But now everyones going to a beer festival so I am definatley out !

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 09:07

tori I still havent either !! We're both a bit weird about it though !! I ve already got myself worked up about the 12 week scan and still got 6 weeks of worrying to go ! Honestly I think the second you've decided to try for a baby you will worry for the rest of your life !!

Say u are taking antibiotics for a uti!!
As they are very common ! :) a 7 day course! Lol I was on antibiotics for 3 months because of a uti ! The doctor didn't realise I was immune to the antibiotic he was giving me.

I'm so jealous of all these scans! Hope u all enjoy seeing ur babas :)

Me624 · 16/06/2014 11:15

Oops pressed post too soon.

Morning all! I'm bummed to be back at work (Monday mornings always come round so quickly) but now we're into a new week I feel much better about the 2ww - on the home straight now and POAS party on Saturday! If AF doesn't get me before then that is ...

Cupcake92 · 16/06/2014 12:41

Good luck poas Me! :)
I've started to get the poas addiction again! Keep thinking "shall I just have a go, u never know!" But I'm only 8 DPO!

BearsInMotion · 16/06/2014 12:46

Me too Me!

It's weird, I started this month thinking a BFP was on the cards, but the closer I get to POAS day the less likely I think it is Confused.

FX we don't see AF for another year!

I'm not feeling too positive either bears, we only dtd around every three days and if I'm right about my ov date then we only did it twice during the fertile period. I don't think it was enough but I'm looking forward to the 2ww being over with as I'll either have happy news or I'll be able to focus on next month.

BearsInMotion · 16/06/2014 14:21

I think we dtd every other day during the fertile period, but we didn't use OPKs so it might have been the wrong time. We did the same last month and that didn't work so who knows!

KatoPotato · 16/06/2014 14:24

I'm with you girls! No idea when I ov'ed this month, assuming CD14 or so, but I have three different apps giving me completely different AF due dates!

I'm currenytly DC26 - AF came this time last month - but usually around CD 28 or 29.... bahhhh I am not one ounce hopeful, and just want AF to put up or shut up!

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 14:58

Todays been eventful ! I first noted some spotting earlier tiny dots , I then had about an hour of on of strong stomach pains . The drs didnt open again until 2pm and I didnt want to rush off to a&e ad I would have to tell my boss .Come 2pm it stopped I phoned dr to get an emergency appoint . Explained everything to receptionist she said "but you've already got an appointment in 10 days" I said I would like to see someone sooner because of the pains . She said 'do you think its baby you could go to epu ?' She then laughted and said 'oh no thats closed now my mistake' eventually I got an appoinment after work , I am not too hopeful .

KatoPotato · 16/06/2014 15:22

Oh poppet try not to worry, I'm sure everything will be okay! Thinking of you x

Me624 · 16/06/2014 15:27

poppet try not to worry too much, lots of women get bleeding and it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. The doctor won't be able to do much though, you really need an early scan. Is there not another EPU you can go to?

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 15:35

I know I feel bit foolish now for getting all worked up but its SO difficult at this stage because you cant tell anyone . I manage an office of volunteers and wanted to scream 'I am pregnant and I am really worried please stop asking me questions and being annoying !!!' . Glad I didnt !! least I ve got in to see the dr quicker !!

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 15:40

me it was a very very small amount of spotting like pin sized . I wasnt that bothered about that it was more the stomach pain which could actually have been more bowel related . I know sounds stupid but I cant tell the difference and so panicked !! I am in london so theres probably a whole range of epu but I feel silly now as theres no pain or spotting !

Bugaboom · 16/06/2014 15:41

Hi poppet. I had bleeding around 6 weeks. Lasted about an hour light flow. Got EPU appointment and all was fine. I hope the doctor reassures you.

Ducky23 · 16/06/2014 16:25

Poppet try not to worry, I know that is a LOT easier said than done, don't forget pregnancy plays havoc with your bowels etc, after dd I ended up crippled over in pain litrally unable to stand, I was convinced I was in labour again and they must have missed one but after getting to hospital, it turned out I needed a poo Blush

Let us know how it goes x

I work with volunteers too, so difficult at times Angry

poppet85 · 16/06/2014 16:48

Yes I ve got myself all worked up and feel slightly silly now and everyones being nice which makes me went to cry !!
ducky tell me about it !! They were saying 'oh you look very stressed dont let the job get to you' !! I wanted to shout at them luckily kept my cool .......just !!

Ducky23 · 16/06/2014 17:10

It is very difficult not to work yourself up about every little thing when your pregnant. I'm absoloutely terrified about this scan tomorrow, I think it's just because I know all to well what can go wrong at these things Hmm

But, I am pretty sure I can feel some very small flutters from movement, most healthcare people say it's not possible but after googling it looks like it's very common with your second to feel then early. Am hoping I feel so much this time it drives me crazy Grin hopefully I will as they don't think I will have an anterior placenta this time Smile

I had a nice surprise this morning though as work have said they are putting me on light duties so i don't get stressed GrinGrinGrin. Winner!

LuluJakey1 · 16/06/2014 18:42

Hope you are ok Poppet. I felt like Af was going to start for about two weeks- had cramps and was running to the loo to check.

Tori Don't do it if you don't want to. Don't feel pressured by DH. He can sort himself out.

DH and I have been doing it lots and it's been even nicer than usual! Grin And hasn't caused any problems. I think it's that worry that it will somehow cause damage that makes us scared. Once we'd done it a couple of times, I forgot about the worry.
