Anyone else?? Ovulation yesterday and today and been dtd lots!! Ttc #2 2cycle. Let's hope we get our bfp!!

Hi all,

AF due next Fri and plan to POAS on Saturday with FRER, arghhhh am symptom spotting too! Think my boobs are slightly sensitive today, oh this is torture!!!!

I'm finding it comforting to know that I am not the only one with confusing EWCM that will not co-operate with the charts! I did toy with the idea of caving earlier, but pretty sure no-ones ever tested positive at 4dpo. Do you think if I go find a stick in the garden and pee on that it will help with the cravings?

SYMPTOMS - For the last couple of days I have been getting fluttering feelings in the womb area. Does anyone think:

A - I got ov wrong and it's a SIGN of ovulation?
B - It's a fertilized egg moving down my fallopian tube?
C - I am pregnant with a magic baby that has got to my womb, implanted and grown big enough to start kicking in 4 days?
D - It's my cervix trying to escape from my body because it's had enough of getting it's head bashed in by DH's willie?
E - It's all in my head and now would be a good time to take up a new hobby?

I have had similar feelings but I can't actually work out if I always have them as I haven't been off the pill too long! Cycle #2
I caved and poa ovulation stick to see if the ewcm was ovulation related but only a very very faint line so in not sure that means anything really!
Quite a few of us waiting to next weekend to poas then!

Only 6 dpo so faaar too early to be testing, but just want to know - now!

Birdtable is so weird we are getting the same things. It's GOT to be a symptom of something exciting surely..or just too much sex.
Someone said about testing on Fathers Day. I like that idea, maybe we should all do it then if we are not out of the game and present all the BFPs to our other halves on a tray with breakfast in bed?
Too much saliva...haven't heard of that one, but bound to be a SYMPTOM. Being hungry all the time definitely is. Can't believe still only half way through the first week. Thank God I'm going to work tomorrow.

Father's Day is a fab idea! And if it's a bfn then we can be down and sad because it will ruin their day and if it's a bfp then it will make the day even better!!
Yes, I'm hungry all the time, must be preggers!!
In Sunday it will only be a week, and it's nearly Sunday...

Right I should have seen AF by fathers day so I'm defo in for that. Although it's also the day I'm running 10k.. that's okay right..?! Maybe I'll just go slowly... thoughts?!

So I woke up this morning feeling really thirsty and sick. And then my husband says "ooh you're probably pregnant!!" And then I got really excited because it does feel like it, I get awful morning sickness when pregnant, my boobs are also getting a little sore and I figured I will try hold off going for a wee until the post comes because I'm expecting some cheap tests to arrive and I can do one!! Then I remembered I'm only like 8dpo so it's crazy to expect that I will be having these symptoms already...!!! I'm sure with my second pregnancy I felt this quite early though... Hmm. Probably is just a little TOO early.

Oh Birdtable, the stress!! I had more EWCM last night and this morning. Have put DH on standby for tonight, because I deeply fear ov hasn't even happened yet!! I am thinking of buying some OPKS on my way home from work so I can try and work out what's going on (and of course I get to feed my POAS addiction at the same time). Maybe you should do another one this afternoon to see if there's any difference?

Lots of saliva IS a symptom - when I was pregnant with DD I used to wake up in the morning with my pillow soaked with drool. ShockGrin I'm feeling a bit slobbery too. With DD I didn't test until about 4 days after I probably should have had AF, and because I am irregular I had lost count of days (we were more not trying not to than really trying, iyswim, because we assumed it would take a while and then it luckily didn't). I was already unbelievably knackered and had boobs like water balloons, so really I should have known. I don't know why I'm so much more obsessed this time round!

I am well up for testing on Father's Day, though I am pretty sure it will still be too early for me to get a BFP even if I am. But you know, if you all are I don't want to miss out on the fun. I get to do it first though, coz I'm in NZ and I've got 11 hours on you all. Wink Ooooh, but I really should wait a few days longer. Argh! I'll wait and see how positive I'm feeling...

Ooh I've never heard of the saliva symptom, no doubt I will start getting it now that I know about it!
I had sort of had the same with my first, we were trying, but I had read it would take at least 6 months, so wasn't even counting days or anything then boobs started hurting so did a test and was +. Oh how I miss those happy, non-obsessive, carefree days!

Yes I was the same- with my daughter I thought it would take ages and I tested on the day my period was due just because it used to turn up on time even to the hour and hadn't. And then I got a faint positive and had no idea a line was a line so thought "it must be wrong" tried again the next day, same, thought that was wrong too. Bought a two pack of clearblue digital. Said pregnant. Thought it must be wrong. Next day did it again and still said pregnant. Then I thought it probably was true and told my husband! Just couldn't believe my luck getting pregnant so easily.

I think AF is due late next week, the problem is I have no idea how long I cycle for anymore as last AF was my first proper post - Cerazette one. I'm just going on the CB Smilies, guesswork and the Ovia app. I've got it narrowed down to either (lol) 7 or 4 dpo and AF sometime around 11th or 14th.... In the meantime I have a bit of an upset stomach, felt a bit sicky and dizzy on the tube yesterday and in the car this morning, a bit stroppy, and my Nipples felt a bit odd in the shower this morning. Ho hum! Will probably have to sit on my hands to not start testing at the weekend. :(

I gave in, am 6 or 7dpo so what was I expecting??? Negative result, not testing again till Sunday! X

Sigh. I totally tested too. Got home from my driving lesson and my pack of 50(!) cheapie tests had arrived. Negative. Of course. It's far too early. I just feel like I've tried so hard to get pregnant I surely have to be this time!!! I got pregnant right away when we started trying last year, and after the miscarriage I ovulated and got pregnant again within two weeks. After that one (mmc) it took ages to get back to normal and I've had two periods since. I've been trying but it didn't happen. Especially as I wanted to start trying months before my husband let us I'm really frustrated! I'm just being impatient aren't i? As soon as I get a bfp I'm going to be really impatient to see if it gets further than the last two times. Should I not be testing do you think? Am I making myself worse??

I'm either spotting or af is 9 days early. Hrmm. Sorry to hear you guys caved. We're not doing a very good job of the old poas anonymous support!

Stop testing, people! We need the POAS-equivalent of a swear jar. Anyone testing before 12 dpo at the earliest puts in a pound, and the proceeds are used to buy chocolate for anyone getting a BFN (only redeemable for tests taken late enough that they actually mean something ). X
