Getting nervous/excited reading all these posts! Can I join? Currently 2 dpo, AF due 15 July. Determined not to test until 10 dpo even though I've just been and bought tons of preg tests from superdrugs! A few expensive ones and lots of cheapo ones.

BD three times during high fertility and then once early morning on peak day and then had ov pains 2pm the same day so pretty sure I OV'd...

TTC #1 cycle 2. sigh Who knew it took so much planning/concentration?! Good luck to you all!

Yes I need realised how difficult it actually is to get pregnant really! There's a lot involved! And I think back to being a teenager and having hardly any sex even when on the pill and using a condom cuz I was so scared to get pregnant!

Still lurking here! Redbunny, hang on three more days, then you'll know for sure. If you test before then...you'll only be annoyed if you test too early! As for the CBFM, it worked for me on my first month. Highly recommend it!

Everything crossed.. Using OPKs and this month have tried fertility gel to help speed the sperm toward the egg so hoping that has worked.. Let the symptom-spotting commence!

Hey guys, wishing you all baby dust. You all deserve it. I think, I may just have had af arrive, keep all crossed. Yesterday had blood in cm, today light but defiance flow not cm I'm hoping it continues because this must mean I'm going to have a cycle right? And therefore whilst I have no idea how long cycle 2 will be I'm going to pray its 28 days and if it is, then we will be away of hol at the perfect time so I am praying that the planets align for me :-)

Sorry to hear that Katybear, how annoying. Know what you mean, even when you get AF, after the disappointment at least you know it's another cycle and things are working properly.

Have you been preg before? I know quite a few of you have. I haven't so just hoping there are no issues. Thinking about going for the 21 day blood test to check I am ovulating - although as I get ov pain I assume I am ovulating. Ov pain = ovulation I hope? Just no idea what to expect and how long it will take...

Oooh, I'm going to POAS on the 11th if I can hold out that long which will be day before AF is due! I am trying not to symptom spot BUT have realised that I am quite spotty on my face and a tiny bit on my boobs which is unusual for me.....is this a sign???? I'm 4dpo I think! Xx

Newbie6 - could def be a sign although such early signs are actually quite rare I'm still searching for them.. 11th not too far away.

What's sad is that I'm going to bed thinking 'ooh hope I wake up feeling a bit nauseous tomorrow' or hoping for cramps - they could be signs! I'm such a loser!

Hi happilymrsr, it's v annoying but good to I hope. Period is very very light but I'm sure it must be one as 2 days running so surely that counts. Hopefully as you says this means it's all working properly. This is 1st time ttc and like you guys I just want this to happen now, how do people enjoy this or stay calm - it's madness!

I know Katybear, so frustrating.. I'm on medication that could affect so I (ahem) told my GP a little white lie that we had been trying since jan so I'm going for my 21 day blood test next week. Been told to do it 7 days before AF due but as it's always slightly different I will go 7 dpo which is what I've read is the most accurate.

Wonder if the other ladies have cracked and poas by now?!

my ovia app said to poas yesterday and I got a BFN so today when OH went to work at 5 am I forced myself to pee so I couldn't poas and face more disappointment haha. I jusy know I'm not preg so don't know why I'm doing this to myself!

I am 10dpo. I POAS today cuz I have the superdrug tests which are 10miu. I thought I had implantation pains on 6dpo so I figured by now hcg would be in my urine. But BFN. I feel like maybe it didn't stick? Maybe I imagined it all to begin with??? I don't know. It's early to test but it was an ultra sensitive test and I feel like I'm out now anyway.
Depressing.

Although I've just read that hcg shows in your blood usually 3-4 days after implantation and then a couple days after that shows in your urine.
But I don't feel pregnant. Last two times I did. The time before I did feel pregnant but didn't realise that's what it was. So.... I'm not feeling terribly optimistic. But shall test again 12dpo incase.

Test with me on Sunday RedBuny! Then we can share our joy/disappointment/doubts etc etc! I have a funny feeling I'm gonna be out this month, nothing specific just think I am! Yay to the surges going on, hope your seduction works! :)

RedBunny my friend took until she was 6 weeks pregnancy to get a positive test! Which is a bit insane but it does happen, the hcg just didn't go into her urine very quickly but she had a healthy baby girl so never give up hope until AF arrives... And if she does then to get to use your new toy!

Yes ok daisysunshine. I feel like I'm not too. I thought maybe I was because of being really tired and strange ewcm yesterday but today I just think I'm out. And I'm just tired because I have a child who won't sleep!!! My last friend who isn't pregnant with no2 or already had no2 is going to start trying soon. I feel like I wanted my next baby first of everyone and am gonna end up with one last!!

But I just want to point this out to everyone else cuz I thought I was real expert at this now but didn't even realise- yes hcg is released right away when you implant so you'd think you can test 10dpo as implantation usually happens 6-10dpo but the hcg then shows in blood and then shows in urine tests after that. So how people get positives at 8dpo I don't know!! Maybe they are super fast implanters or maybe they ovulated earlier than they thought.

Sorry to hear you got BFN'd Redbunny. I think that's why it's recommended to test from missed period i.e. 14 DPO (if you're 'normal') so a realistic amount of time for there to be enough HCG. Yeh, I really don't get how it's even possible to get a positive 8 DPO. I think these people must be wrong about when they ovulated, it doesn't seem scientifically possible.
Well I am stressed again today. Noticed last night that EWCM was turning thicker and white (sorry for gross image) and then this morning I tested with OPK and the test line was even darker than yesterday, so I can't even have ov'd yet!! So where has my EWCM gone????!!!!!! Surely the spermies won't be able to swim without it so depressed and fed up. Don't think my bodies working proper. Think next month's purchase is Conceive plus. P.S how long do you have to have been trying for before you can start harassing the doctor?

P.P.S and I used FMU (which the instructions say not to do as won't show up then), but it did show up, so why am I even lutenizing early in the morning?!

Ladyflower my ewcm is always best a couple days before I ovulate which didn't used to matter as I got pregnant three times anyway. As I haven't been getting pregnant since we've tried again this is why I used the cough medicine to try make it watery for longer. Obviously I can't be certain it made any difference yet but....
Maybe you have a long LH surge? I've read it's possible.
Anyway I think I depends on your age as to when you go to the doctor. They usually give you a year of trying if you're under 35 I think? But my doctor said I only had to wait six months as I know I usually conceive right away.

OK, well that's good to know, thanks redbunny. So have you noticed any difference with the cough medicine? I was drinking pink grapefruit juice and that seemed to be making a difference, then I ran out and DH bought me the yellow one, and have a feeling it's meant to be pink that works! I blame him if I'm not pregnant this month! I'm 33 so yeh, think they will tell me to go away and come back next year! Think I need to just stop panicking. I was doing really well until a couple of days ago. I'm sure 'going mental' is a symptom of ovulation. Anyway, enough about me! Meant to say earlier, don't feel too down about your BFN today, sounds like 12 days is normal for a BFP for you, so defo still lots of hope

I think it did make my cm seem thinner, but whether that's enough so help the spermies I don't know.... I also used conceive plus. So I shall be most miffed if I'm not pregnant. I worked really hard this time! Didn't try pink grapefruit juice though. Hadn't heard of it. How much do you have to drink?
