And that's everything for £350?? Sounds ace I think il look into that.

I'm not sure whether I want a vb or a c section. I would prefer a vb but am absoloultely terrified of anything going wrong. I guess I will be briefly talking about that with my consultant next week... Hopefully!

Yeah her price was £350 all together that's it!

And personally, I'd never want a csection again. Only because of my personal experience. The worst experience of my life. I was so out of it because of the drugs I don't remember the birth :/ n I was given DS to told n I just lay there not interacting with him. I didn't feel like I was there mentally and was shaking so bad because of the spinal. Then the pain omg the pain :'( I'd go through labour 10 times than that pain. And they damaged my bladder so went back to hospital 3 days later for a week, and nearly had to come home with a catheter!
This is the one thing that scares me about getting pregnant :/ I can not do that again. But if it's necessary for the baby so that the baby is safe then yes I'd do it deffo.

I'm going to look into that cupcake Smile

I think I remember you saying you had a horrible experience Hmm sounds awful. Was it a planned c section? I'm just worried as il be induced and have been watching too much obem where they come out in shock and need oxygen, what if things go wrong ConfusedConfused. Am hoping for a vb though Smile

My friend was induced 37/38 weeks as she had lots of medical problems, she had a vb all natural birth and no complications at all :) also another friend was induced at 37 weeks as he waters broke early so needed to be induced to keep baby safe, she had epidural but still had a vb and all was fine no complications :) just a few success stories for u Ducky! :) and if u had a doula she'd do everything possible to help it go smoothly, I like the ideas of aromatherapy and hypnotherapy etc to relax u n baby :)

N hello Kitkat! Keep strong! As I'm telling myself not to test early as well :p

Tori My DH is the same as yours, he doesn't want to know anything. That's why I joined the boards so I could have people to talk to about it!

kitkat I'm the same as you, nothing exciting happening at the moment so nothing much to say! I've just finished AF and if my cycle is going to be regular then it's a while before I will ovulate, probably not for another 2 weeks. Will start dtd seriously from around a week today I think!

My dh isn't quite like that, but he doesn't want to talk about it much, I think because he thinks I will get myself worked up/impatient/stressed about it not that he's right at all Grin

Yes - DP isn't that fussed about the whole thing - only ever talks about it if I raise it.

Ducky - I was induced with DD. Had an epidural at the start, it was absolutely fine! In fact if I do get pg again my birth plan will be, "Pretty much the same as last time please!"

Dh is pretty good tbh hes got more interested as we go along ,now he realises it cant just happen as quickly as he thought . I dont tell him all the gory details or my rollercoster of emotions dont want tcc to cause too much of a strain or stress between us and I dont want him to worry too much he can be quite sensitive . Thats why Iam came on here !!
Was lulu going on holiday or was that someone else ?

No, Ducky - I have a health condition so was considered high risk anyway, then had slightly raised blood pressure so we agreed to induce. Took ages in the end - DD was born in February, they took me in on Saturday morning and then didn't actually do it until Monday because lots of midwives had got stuck in the snow!

Ducky23 · 23/05/2014 18:02

Oh god bet something like that will happen to me! Do you mind me asking if you were early? I will be induced around 37 weeks and was just wondering if baby comes out shocked or anything if it's early?

Report
BearsInMotion · 23/05/2014 18:07

I was 38 weeks, DD was fully engaged by then and ready to go! She was helped by ventouse but that was more because of my muscle problems. They brought the resuscitation thing in just in case but she didn't need it.

Ducky23 · 23/05/2014 18:37

Ahh that's good to hear bears. Was just panicking that baby would be shocked! Too much obem! And I'm a bit worried if I had an epidural I won't be able to feel where to push!

I had a high dose of morphine when havig dd and she was very small so I think this time will be harder Confused
