And for those doubting, a line is a line Smile although false positives happen i sure they are quite rare!! False negatives are much more likely Smile

I know the feeling though when I got my BFP it kind of seemed too good to be true so I doubted it a bit.

Will be 11 weeks tomorrow Grin that's almost 3 months already BlushBlushBlush

Hi tori. There's no rush to let gp or midwife know but it's a good idea if you have any medical issues. Check out your local maternity units online- often they are self referral rather than gp referral. I think it's a good idea to let your gp know even if you self refer. Midwife won't usually do your first appointment until 8-10 weeks unless there's any issues. Congrats

Ducky23 · 07/06/2014 19:20

My midwife knew as soon as I did but that was only because I'm high risk Smile I think in most areas the midwifes won't see you (unless as someone said there are medical issues) until 8 -10 weeks.

Thanks kato and congratulations tori!
Good question about the midwife and doctors.i think I'll try and get one for Friday as I have a day off. What do they say and do to you? Blood test?

kitkatkaty87 · 07/06/2014 20:28

Do the clearblue tori, mine came up when it was only faint on the superdrug one.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
xx

Ducky23 · 07/06/2014 20:42

Kitkat for my first I just called gp, she called back and asked whether i intended on keeping it Blush then gave me a number to call for the midwife. I called and they just booked me an appointment Grin

To be fair, I'd had rats before and should have realised myself! But I just didn't think! And the 12 babies were so cute! Pets at Home did offer to tAke them, but I thought they might be PTS so we made them give us a free cage instead and kept all but 3!

I'm deffo out for this month. Got the most hideous AF I've had for years, so heavy and painful. I'm going to find a bush to sulk under until next month Sad.

Really pleased for those of you who have got your BFPs this month, I'll keep on plodding on to the next cycle xx

Ticktick · 08/06/2014 10:39

Arghh this is driving me crazy. Still no AF and still getting bfn. Iv just driven 25 min to get to my nearest superdrug to get more tests and the blaming shop isn't open till 11am!

Is anyone else testing soon?

Sorry AF got you Hull :(
