How reliable are the cheaper opks?

I had been using the clearblue ones but I found much cheaper ones , the strips where you look for the control line and test line, so I thought I'd try them.

Going on last month, I'm not due to reach peak for three days yet but yesterday the cheap test had the T line looking the same as the C line. At the same time I did a clear blue test and it said low.

Today the cheap test had a T line a lot lighter than the C line, and two different clear blue tests (single and dual hormones) said low.

So basically the clear blue tests done at the same time lead me to think that cheap one was wrong. And if it was high yesterday (on the cheap one), surely it still would be today too? (Was low day before the high test).

im using the cassette opks and had 1 strong opk yesterday morning today i done 2 1 morning 1 afternoon both light so neg confused over it anyway not much help but when i was ttc i used the clear blue digital smily tests and never once got a positive on them yet i fell pregnant that month by charting so i dont think the price of the test means much

I found them useless. Never got a positive/strong line on them. Still got pregnant though Grin

Thanks for the responses. The cheap ones I used were the tesco ones and I won't bother with them again. Accordingng to them I was highly fertile about 4 days ago. I've had varying degrees of lines all week which doesn't make sense. Whereas today CB said I'm highly fertile, which is on schedule going by last month.
