...but this is the first definite line that I have had. Is it possible to get a false positive while apparently on AF?

Did they say how high it had to go to?

This exact situation happened to me. My clear blue digital even increased to 2-3 and then 3+... But they couldn't find anything on the scans and after another week to ten days my hcg levels started to fall.

My HCG level had fallen from 26 to 24, pretty much certain it's a chemical pregnancy and won't continue. So sad it's beyond words :(

So sorry to hear that... I know how devastating it can be.

But don't lose hope. After this happened to me, 2 cycles later it stuck and she's upstairs sleeping now.

Thanks. I know that time will heal what today are very open wounds. I think I just need a damn good cry - couldn't really let go today as I work at the hospital where I had my test results and had to I back to work to finish my day :( I'm finally home and feel totally drained. I know one day soon I will look back on this philosophically, but for now I am sad for what might have been xx
