Between 10mlU and 20mlU test strips? Want to buy the cheap ones from amazon but what do these numbers mean?

It's their sensitivity. The lower the number the more sensitive they are to detecting HCG.

Thank you. Stupid question but why would anyone buy (or make)the higher number ones then?

Because they are more accurate.

MadameLeBean · 22/03/2014 16:35

So 10 is more sensitive but 20 is more accurate??

How does that make sense? So more likely to get a false positive/negative with the 10s?

Sensitivity simply refers to the lowest possible amount of bhcg the test can detect. Accuracy is whether the result it gives is "true". A negative from a 20u/ml is more likely to be a true negative than a negative from 10u/ml test.

Ok that makes sense.. Thanks
