How many cycles until you got your bfp??

As the title says really. I know it doesn't happen for everyone straight away but just wanted to hear how long it took to get bfp. I'm currently on cycle 3 ttc#1. Thanks :)

#1 37 cycles and still going ..it sucks.

#1 3 cycles
#2 13 cycles (currently 19 weeks pregnant)

No idea why it was so quick the second & third times .

A friend of mine tried for 15 years with not even a hint of a bfp. Much to her shock she got pg at 44 & again at 46 so now has 2 DC she thought she'd never have.

Hope everyone trying gets a bfp soon.

DC1 - 4 months after coming off pill
DC2 - 1st cycle after taking coil out

I feel very fortunate.

I have some friends who took 2.5 years with their first and 1 month with their second.

#1 1 cycle but mmc
#2 8 cycles and still ttc

#1-3 months mc
#2-6 weeks mc
#3- 4 months baby girl
#4- 6 months due July

#1 was 2-3 cycles
#2 fell pregnant #1 was five months not trying but no contraception either

#3 2 cycle. Ended in early mc in jan
Haven't tried again yet giving body a chance to recover

Pg 1 - 2 months (m/c)
Pg2 - 3 years (after ivf - m/c)
Still trying for #1 after 4 years. Never could have imagined this when starting out.

Everyones stats are so interesting. Growing up I had it hammered in to me from all quarters that you WILL get pregnant if you have sex without contraception! I wish someone had told me that might not be the case, I'd have tried for a family in my mid 20's!!

21 months. ivf as unexplained

I agree Inshock seems silly now that i didnt try earlier. As we have been together since age 20.
I started at 29 and all my other friend went on to easily have theirs in early thirties and now have their second ones.

Same here naty and inshock! Wish I hadn't wasted so much money on condoms and morning after pills!

Dd1 - None, got upduffed on the pill
Dd2 (due in 26 days :D) 2nd cycle

DD1 - 2 cycles age 37.
DD2 - 1 cycle, but wasn't trying, just the one unprotected shag. And at 39.

Very very lucky I know.

Amazes me how I didn't get pregnant in my twenties when my attitude to contraception was at times a little cavalier

I know I've been incredibly fortunate. I'm now ttc #7 ! On cycle 3 but still breastfeeding so may take longer which is probably a good thing this time...

Yes naty1. We had unexplained infertility. Strange how things panned out.

Still TTC #1 after 38 cycles (3+ years). In that time, 1 MMC at 12 wks after 25 cycles. All tests fine, textbook ovulation and cycle length. Facing up to IVF this year. Sorry to be negative, but just wanted to balance out all the "1-3 cycle" posts on here....

You're not alone St4r i have several friends in their 20's and 30's who have been trying for 2+ years but they're not on here.

DS 3 cycles. This pregnancy (currently 23 weeks) 6 cycles. I'm 32 now so hoping the next one doesn't take longer again.

Dc1 - 1 cycle (ds now 4)
Dc2 - on cycle 18 now and had one round of failed ivf. We are apparently hopelessly infertile. Dh's sperm don't swim anywhere and my eggs are crap. We are so infertile that even ivf / icsi probably won't help us.

And yet you conceived naturally first time? Wow, what are the odds! X
