MrsExtraOrdinary · 24/03/2014 07:19

Awoke with cramps, frer says no , cheapie says no! No blood but only matter of time now Sad

Come on somebody make this a happy Monday Grin

Nordicmom · 24/03/2014 07:44

Sorry Mrsextra:(. Bfn here too although still about 5 d early in my usual cycle at 9 dpo . It's so depressing getting those negatives though and feeling /imagining symptoms . I think I'll faint if there's ever a line. Interesting how things can change like this in 4 y . I'm really getting older and loosing what ever fertility I had apparently but there's that crazy hope always specially since I carried DS myself with no problems ...
Dd is having nursery so I'll burrow in to the bed for the day and wallow :(...

Nordicmom · 24/03/2014 07:46

Nicx good luck with the bloods!
Punky I hope the line gets stronger !

MrsExtraOrdinary · 24/03/2014 08:02

Nordic I feel like that. I used to be able to do this much easier, too easily in fact! I'm 34 so I guess I've got a few years before I have to give up but I was first a mum at 18 so it's been a long road of motherhood already, with oldest ds 16 this year. Sometimes I wonder whether mine and dhs genes are just not v compatible. Or maybe it's just we aren't as young as we were. Dh is 40. We are soooo very lucky to have our little ds(2) together I never thought I'd actually get him after 18mts ttc & mc.

Envy Of going back to bed! Brew

nicx240187 · 24/03/2014 08:04

No nit tried any other test type as have 40 cheapies lol.
Good luck all still waiting x

PunkyPod · 24/03/2014 08:07

Argh mrs that's so frustrating. I really hope you are still in with a shot.

nordic sorry you are feeling so unwell. I guess like all of us who are already blessed with children, we just need to look at them and be thankful. As much as I'm longing for more kids I know I am so so lucky to have my DD. Your struggles for your children have been so great and more than most people will go through. Please make sure you look after yourself aswel. I hope this comes across in the way I mean it to (it's difficult to write it).

Well done a fmu test and I think it's a tiny bit clearer. Going to pop to Boots and pick up a frer and do it in the morning. I'm on 13dpo and cd 29 now. My cycles are 28-31 days so this is the critical time.....

PunkyPod · 24/03/2014 08:08

This is my fmu test. Can't believe I'm posting my wee stick picture online!!!!!

congrats to all the bfps and bah to af.

I am 9dpo the good thing about being on holiday is not thinking about it during the 2ww. until today when I've been having tummy cramps - can't think what else this means except that af is on its way? its too early I'm guessing to be anything else at the moment....

broodysnoopstie · 24/03/2014 08:29

Birth Update

Smile Smile Smile Smile

Hello everyone!!!!

So happy to announce that baby arrived safely at 13.12pm on Friday and he is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. He was 8lb 7oz and is the absolute spitting image of his dad. We were discharged last night, there were a few issues and emotional breakdowns in the hospital but now that I'm back home I'm feeling much better - even if I am shattered and my nipples are in agony Grin

Thanks to everyone for you thoughts!!

I haven't read back yet, not sure when I'll get a chance too but I hope some of you have had happy news x x

EnglishGirlAbroad · 24/03/2014 08:53

katecupoftea · 24/03/2014 09:50

Congrats punky and writer! So exciting to see a line and hear of an actual baby!

Last night I felt a bit sick as I was brushing my teeth. I'm not a very nauseous person normally. But, I havent felt sick since and I'm wondering if I felt sick because I sort of wanted to feel sick as a good sign. Is that even possible? This 2ww is killing me this month.

mama31 · 24/03/2014 10:08

Writer that is fabulous Monday morning news! Cheered me right up! :) massive congratulations to you. I'm sure you are just so in love with him. I look forward to your next baby update. Take it easy and get as much rest as possible. Oh and do you have a name for him? Xxx

Nordicmom · 24/03/2014 10:24

Huge congrats Writer ! Glad to hear you have gotten to go home and are both doing ok. Enjoy these early days if you can ( i know it takes a while to get over the section and breast feeding in the beginning speciallly can be very painful , mine didn't work out at all ...) mine are now a faint memory and I long to sniff that new born head again:)!
Punky thanks for the kind words . I thank my lucky stars everyday for my beautiful children believe me ! It's just this feeling I've got and I'm getting older( 39 soon ) so I feel like I've got to do this . The longer we're at it the more determined I'm to get there...
Broody I've got my fingers x for u and any others still waiting for BFP this month like me. Sorry to those who AF got .
