Mid cycle bleeding - TTC

hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone had experienced what I have at the moment and could offer any advice? My husband and I have been TTC number 2 since October 2011. Last year we had fertility tests that all came back clear (including an HSG test). After courses of antibiotics (unrelated) starting last september, I had recurring thrush and then in January what I thought was thrush had become bacterial vaginosis and I and 2 courses of antibiotics to clear it. 6 days after the end of my last period, I had some bleeding after DH and I did the deed (sorry for TMI) - it had stopped by morning and it was fine all day, then the next day I started bleeding again. I went to the doctor and she did an internal exam and said that I did have a small patch of scar tissue and cervical erosion on my cervix (I've been told this before) and that she didn't think it was anything to worry about but would refer me to the community gynae clinic to be sure. I've been trying to get the appointment but apparently it takes forever. Anyway, last week I started randomly bleeding again (approximately day 21 of my cycle) and it has been off and on for the last few days, varying from red to brown to pink. I'm starting to really panic and have of course done the stupid thing of googling symptoms and of course now my head is fully of horrible thoughts like cancer.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before?
Many thanks in advance x

Try not to panic, but do get it checked out (I know you're waiting for an appt.- how annoying that it's taking so long). It happened to me, and it turned out to be uterine polyps (like fibroids, but slightly less serious)- they had to be removed in a minor operation, and then I was fine.
