We're are getting dangerously close to 1000 posts on the other bus so thought I would start another one. Will update stats in another post. Fingers Crossed for lots more BFPs Grin

Fantastic kitty so glad there's a BFP today! We looked like we were getting into a funk for a while there! Brilliant news!

Hazelbrowneyes · 21/02/2014 12:56

Congratulations Kitty!

KittyVonCatsington · 21/02/2014 13:08

Thank you Smile

DH can home 20 minutes ago and I told him straight away. He says he can definitely see a line too. He gave me a kiss and a nervous smile. I think it's just hit him how big a deal TTC is...

Congrats kitty :) that's amazing news. Just in time to cheer us up for the weekend. What a lovely way to start off the weekend. Let's hope we get a few more.

I've done something a bit silly-in my poas madness I tested again with a later urine as in my crazy head I felt that for some reason maybe the tests don't work with my fmu. I left it well past the time but now have a second line. I've never had an Evap from these tests and it is def a pinkish line. Looking at the reviews as many people had false negatives as they did positives so will use frer tomorrow with fingers crossed!

And I don't think it is just men that buy funny presents. I once bought my then boyfriend (now DH) a hammer as he used a hole punch to drive in nails! I also bought my mum a toilet seat (it was new!).

mama31 · 21/02/2014 14:11

Kitty all that hard work and dedication dtd has definitely paid off! Feeling a bit regretful that we stopped now but what will be will be and I was exhausted!!!!

Mango what test did you use? If the lines pink sounds promising!!!

Hmmm....i stopped the manuka as well this cycle...might regret that too! and only NUPD twice! Overanalysing everything now! 2ww does crazy things!

missmrsmummy · 21/02/2014 14:16

KITTYYYYYY YAYYYYY! Congratulations x

I am so happy reading this Grin I'm so glad all that DTD paid off for you...

...but terrified at the prospect that I'm going to have to do the same to get a BFP! Lol

This has really cheered me up, my cycle buddy Thanks

Please pop back every now and then to say hi!

xxx

kitty so mega excited for you! agree, its lovely to get some good news!

I am dyyying to POAS again, esp as I bought some frers and then come to see they seem to be "the thing" from this thread.

I am on day 35, 15 DPO. Normal cycle length is 32 days, luteal 11 days but it's not always like clockwork. In sept I had a 37 day but have been regular since then (and I had a miscarriage a few months before that so could have still been adjusting? I don't know).

I have preg symptoms, don't have my usual PMS stuff and no spotting. When I've had longer cycles I always have a few days of spotting before my period. BUT I'm not gonna lie, I seem to think I'm pregnant almost every month!

So part of me thinks I need to chill until I hit my 37 day "record". I had a BFN at 2am last night from a boots brand and now I reallllly want to do a frer, don't even want to wait til tmrw! I'm nuts right?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 21/02/2014 14:31

Happy Birthday Barmy!! If my dh gave me a car course he'd be likely to get a slap! But it is rather funny. And the book is a lovely thoughtful gift.

Kitty congratulations, definitely seems the dtd marathon paid off. I'm gonna up my game this cycle! No day off! Hmm. Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy.

theduchesse · 21/02/2014 14:51

I've been lurking on this thread for a while but just had to come out of hiding to join in the commiserations of the never ending bfns. I am currently on cd32 and 13dpo and got another bfn this morning. I'm not technically late until tomorrow but I have just felt pregnant this month and every day I get disappointed but every day I don't believe the test and think it will be different the next day. Stupid eh?

theduchesse · 21/02/2014 14:55

I forgot to say congrats kitty! It is so good to finally see a bfp!

KittyVonCatsington · 21/02/2014 16:42

...but terrified at the prospect that I'm going to have to do the same to get a BFP! Lol Let your DH do all the work Wink I also do Pilates twice a week after school and the breathing techniques really help me to relax after the madness that is the classroom - I recommend it although it's not cheap.

Don't give up poas ladies - if AF hasn't arrived, well, it's not over till the fat lady sings and all that!

Forgot to say, I also had a 1 hr reflexology appointment on CD10, don't know if that helped but she certainly gave my ankles a good seeing to.

OP posts:
toots123 · 21/02/2014 16:55

Congrats kitty! Delighted for you! x

EnglishGirlAbroad · 21/02/2014 17:08

I'm excited for my reflexology appointment!! Been giving my ankles a bit over a going over myself - although I'm no specialist I do massage as part of my job (well I did before I moved here..)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 21/02/2014 17:08

Drat! Spotting! I never used to spot at all prior to af, but in recent years occasionally it does seem to happen!

LittleMissSunshine33 · 21/02/2014 17:20

YAY! Kitty congrats!!!!
Touchwood MrsEx it's nothing!

Can't believe how quick this half term week has gone! Not ready to go back yet and I have an inspection Confused

At least it's closer to finding out I'd it's AF or BFP...fingersX for the latter!

KittyVonCatsington · 21/02/2014 17:26

What colour is the spotting, MrsE?

Just remember, that Ofsted will probably already have an agenda before they come in, LittleMissSunshine so the pressure will be more on SLT than you. Also remember that no one will know of your judgment (if you get one). Good luck - had an inspection the last week of the Christmas term (are you effing kidding me, Ofsted???)

I gave in and POAS, another BFN and this one made me depressed so I think I'm going to chill for the weekend if I can stand it. Frustrating because I've been super nauseated all day. But I had a late BFP before as well.

missmrsmummy · 21/02/2014 18:28

Kitty I used to do Pilates too but had to give up due to new job - perhaps that was my downfall! I'll find some online videos to follow.

Still so excited about your bfp!

Off to book reflexology now...

Treaclepie19 · 21/02/2014 18:37

How late was your bfp before cursive?
Sorry to jump in.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 21/02/2014 19:42

Kitty it's brown which is how my spotty always starts! Yes i know old blood, but still I don't feel pg just a tad peed off! Wink

KittyVonCatsington · 21/02/2014 19:47

Bugger. Hope you are wrong in this case, though

OP posts:
YellowMummy712 · 21/02/2014 19:51

Congratulations kitty so glad to finally see a bfp!
This will hopefully start a trend of bfps fingers crossed everyone still waiting.

I'm currently 10dpo been feeling abit nauseous now and again but have had sore boobs since yesterday which is usually a sign af is on her way. Poas yesterday and a bfn but it's still early days, have to keep positive while I'm currently online looking at prams

Treaclepie19 · 21/02/2014 21:28

Ugh spotting started. I guess im out of limbo :(

What is going on with my cycles? Early/late/different af/spotting when i dont normally.
