I had my growth scan/obstetrician appointment today and due to baby being a little elephant my CS date has been bought forward and will be happening 3 weeks tomorrow!! Eek!!! So exciting!!!

I was kind of hoping they'd do it a bit sooner as I'm so, so uncomfortable but hospital policy means they can't unless there is a medical reason He's going to be such a chunky monkey - he looked so cramped in the scan images today, all squished up After having had 12 scans in total I can't believe that the next time I see him it will be for real!! I asked the midwife if I could have a really long look at him today as I really wanted to take it in and memorise all his little features for the last time on a screen. Thankfully he was looking straight ahead towards the Doppler so got to see his little face with his chubby cheeks I can't believe how much I love him already

I can You've made something perfect there! Your own little person. I only had 6 days of thinking I was pregnant but my God did I feel great! To think a little one was growing made me realise I was totally ready to have a baby so I can imagine the rush of love you are feeling now! Enjoy him
